Although she has a strong competitive drive following years of competing in sporting events; Katherine will not take shortcuts to win, she believes that victories are earned, and any success she obtains will be through sheer hard work and determination. Katherine loves her fans, and is very appreciative of their support, often posing for them.

Determinator - Katherine is a driven competitor. "Never give up, Kat!... EVER!", these words of encouragement from her father during a kickboxing tournament when she was eight years old have stuck with her to this day.

One of the Boys - Rather than spending time with other girls; due to having two older brothers, Katherine found herself hanging around groups of boys instead. This was increased as her kickboxing venture turned into her wrestling career. Although she often appears to be a prim, middle-class English girl; she will sometimes revert to using crude language, and doesn't lose sleep over spilt blood or a chipped nail.

Sanctuary of Solitude - Although being a devout Catholic; Katherine's hectic life has meant that she's not been able to attend church as often as she used to when she was younger. However, her faith remains important to her, and she leans on it at times when she is scared or confused, or when things have gotten rough. She finds the church a sanctuary, a place that feels safe.

Biography

Growing up in a middle-class Catholic family in the borough of Westminster, London; Katherine comes from a loving and nurturing home. The youngest of three children, and the only daughter, she was gifted with a competitive streak from an early age. Her father, Anthony - a policeman, encouraged Kat, as she is known amongst her family and friends, to undertake kickboxing lessons to allow her to "hold her own" with her two older brothers, Matthew and George. Her mother, Edith - a primary school teacher, was not as keen on this newfound hobby, and also enrolled Kat in gymnastics as a way of "balancing out" her interests. One of Kat's earliest memories was of her father and two brothers staying up late on Sunday nights watching wrestling pay per views; soon she would join them as she fell in love with the sport herself.

Kat continued to pursue both kickboxing and gymnastics into her teenage years and then whilst she attended University. Whilst participating in both sports; Kat competed at various Regional and National events, achieving great success. This was due to a fierce competitive drive Kat had developed over the years, and a need to succeed. That determination to succeed helped Kat sail through her initial three years at University, before staying on an extra two years to obtain her masters. She eventually graduated from University with a distinction.

Despite gaining such strong grades, for the first time in her life; Kat began to struggle to find her place during her post University life. Jobs were scarce in the field she had studied for, and she resorted to working in bars and clubs to help make ends meet. Eighteen months passed and she was still lost for direction, yet whilst cleaning the bar one night after closure, she found a leaflet to a local wrestling school, The Pit Wrestling Academy. Motivated by the happy memories she shared with her family watching wrestling years previously, and remaining in top physical shape following her years of sporting activity; Kat enrolled at The Pit.

After four months of extensive wrestling training under the tutelage of Pit Head Trainer Jack Riley; Kat was excelling, learning the profession at an accelerated pace and was shining brightly as the school's stand out pupil. Over the next eight months; Kat began working on the British Independent Wrestling scene whilst continuing her wrestling "apprenticeship" at The Pit, and with a quickly growing reputation, opportunities began to arise for Kat to tour both Europe and Japan. However, her progress was soon halted, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. With the entire British Wrestling scene temporarily shut down for almost one year and not being allowed to travel overseas due to the ongoing lockdown; Kat had to resort to training on her own in a bid to keep her skills sharp. Even after restrictions were lifted, the British Independent Wrestling scene struggled to recover, and Kat was forced to make a difficult decision regarding her future.

To achieve the success she desired; Kat chose to move away from England, leaving her family and friends behind to begin a new venture in the United States. She relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, joining the Tap or Snap Fight Gym, recommended to her by her trainer, Jack Riley. At this new training facility; Kat continues to hone her craft whilst also being able to incorporate Mixed Martial Arts disciplines into her fighting acumen.

Kat is currently signed to a full-time professional wrestling contract with Action Wrestling.

The vocal beginning of "Kiss With A Fist" by Florence + The Machine starts to play over the PA system. The crowd turns to the stage with excitement as a dozen closed red roses appear on the ActionTron. One after another, the rose heads begin to open up until the final larger flower in the centre of the screen finally spreads its petals, revealing…

The crowd cheers and begins to clap along to the beat of the drum as Katherine Hastings runs out onto the stage, being met with a massive ovation. She greets them all with a radiant smile, acknowledging the crowd's reaction before stopping at the top of the ramp, posing with both her arms out wide, her palms facing upwards. After closing both hands and relaxing her arms back down to her side, she proceeds to march confidently towards the ring.

Adilene Floyd: Originating from the City of Westminster, London, England... weighing in at 132 pounds... she is THE ENGLISH ROSE!!... give it up for... KATHERINE HASTINGS!!!

The crowd's cheers pick up momentum once more following her ring introduction. Katherine high-fives multiple fans as she approaches the ring apron closest to the hard camera. She climbs up, standing on the apron as she poses for the crowd once again. Katherine sidesteps to her right, wiping both feet on the mat before finally bending over to enter into the ring, signing the cross as she passes through the ropes.

Once inside the ring, she bounces around on the spot for a few moments until she finally retreats into the corner. Katherine removes her entrance attire and inserts a mouth guard, commencing her final preparations ready for the match ahead.

Attacks

Using her extensive training in kickboxing; Katherine is very proficient with kicking attacks. Her length allows her to reach areas of her opponent's body, from their head down to their own legs. As well as having an extremely effective kicking arsenal; due to her training on the British Wrestling scene, Katherine is more than comfortable switching up her attacks with a variety of punches, backhand chops, knee strikes and European uppercuts. Whilst onrushing an opponent, Katherine will frequently use a Headscissors Takedown. If her opponent is cornered; Katherine will execute a running corner dropkick, followed immediately by repeated kicks to her opponents body.

Throws

Due to often being smaller than her opponent; Katherine doesn't attempt to throw her opponent in the first instance, but is capable if necessary. Due to her training in both British Catch and Mixed Martial Arts, she has mastered both the Double Arm Suplex and the Double Leg Takedown. She will otherwise use a mixture of arm drag's, hip tosses, MMA style slams and other Suplex's.

Submissions / Holds

With her training in Catch Wrestling and her growing knowledge in MMA; Katherine uses her length well to utilise a variety of submission holds, focusing on the limbs of her opponents. Holds she will look to use include a Double Wrist Lock, Arm Bar, Knee Bar, Heel Hook and a Rear Naked Choke.

Aerial / Turnbuckle

Having undertaken gymnastics for much of her early years; Katherine feels at ease up high on the turnbuckle and gliding through the air. She also feels just as comfortable using springboard attacks. She will often take to the skies in an attempt to gain the upper hand against a larger opponent. She has been known to use a Diving Hurricanrana against standing opponents, either from the top rope or by spring boarding using the ring ropes. If her opponent is grounded; Katherine's agility will see her execute a Standing Corkscrew Shooting Star Press onto her downed opponent. If her opponent is seated on the top rope; Katherine will execute a Super Double Arm Suplex or a Top Rope Hurricanrana. If her opponent is located outside of the ring; Katherine will perform a Corkscrew Shooting Star Press onto her opponent, either from the top rope or by spring boarding using the ring ropes.
