Dr. Reginald Royce is in an exclusive suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington DC. Unlike America's (Former) Mayor, he ended up at the right location. As he is seated at a table with a copy of The Washington Post, he notices a full page ad promoting Action Wrestling Revolution. [DR. ROYCE] "Take a look at this, Peter. For a polital-themed pay-per-view, this is shaping up to be a must-see-event." Harper sits down at the table, handing Royce a mug filled with fresh coffee. [PETE HARPER] "Again, sir, it's not really a pay-per-view because it airs on a subscription-based digital platform." [DR. ROYCE] "The AW Network. It's all so new to me. Mr. Insane tried explaining the numbers to me. He's well-versed in digital media. Juggalo TV has been a great acquisition for Devil's Gate Enterprises." [PETE HARPER] "Early numbers suggest a substantial increase in viewers for him. There seem to be some copyright issues coming our way but it's nothing Mr. Michaels cannot handle." You'll meet Mr. Michaels later this week. Stay tuned. [DR. ROYCE] "I'm thankful he is able to return to Devil's Gate." [PETE HARPER] "It's all coming together nicely, as she predicted. The partnership with Twiztid Insane… your early progress with your new patient... Der Metzger's dominant path toward the United States Championship. There is a slight roadblock but it is nothing he cannot handle." [DR. ROYCE] "It is an obstacle but certainly not a roadblock. Action Wrestling has a way of throwing curveballs before these larger events. Such is the case with Clash's main event. They gracefully weaved together the top four matches of Revolution into one spectacle. Each team has incredible strengths but the key component needed for success here is teamwork. Mr. Shaw and Ms. Blake represent Philidor Holdings, so they are accustomed to teamwork. Howard Black is looked at as a natural leader. The wildcard on the inevitable winning team is Der Metzger. He does not usually handle team activities without casualties. His first outing with Mr. Insane was a success because of a… unique... shock treatment." [PETE HARPER] "Is that… legal? Ethical? Moral?" [DR. ROYCE] "All debatable." [PETE HARPER] "And you plan on using it again?" [DR. ROYCE] "Without hesitation. In order for Der Metzger to be successful, he must be whole. To leave him unchecked… unhinged… would lead to a total relapse. Total system failure. I have yet to explain his Revolution match to him. He was aware of the reward for defeating Mr. Slane… but then it abruptly left his mind. For now, he is a clean slate. An unfortunate side effect of some experimental medication. It is my hope to perfect this treatment in time for the next one." [PETE HARPER] "The next one… what? Before Royce can respond, his Nokia 3310 chimes and he picks it up off of the table. He answers and quickly excuses himself to have a private conversation with Mr. Michaels. Harper picks up the Washington Post, eyeing up the Revolution ad. There are all the top stars in marquee matches: Corey Black versus Ash Blake, Howard Black versus Stuart Slane, even a spot for lesser champions such as Downfall and Max Daemon. Right in the middle of it all is a star-spangled portrait of our United States Champion Odin Balfore. How fitting since he has become such a patriotic sycophant since obtaining the coveted prize. Becoming a transitional champion has afforded him the opportunity to be a special envoy for Joseph Robinette Biden Junior, 46th President of the United States of America at Revolution next weekend. What's noticeably missing from the Washington Post is the next ruler of the free world… the man who is second to none… the man who will undoubtedly become United States Champion at Revolution… Der Metzger. Perhaps it was an accidental omission. Print media is a dying medium and they are more prone to mistakes than ever before. What's most likely is that Action Wrestling's team left him off for a reason. That reason is the very same that will prove to be a mistake on the part of Odin Balfore at Revolution: fear. We humans fear what we do not understand. That alone is proof that Odin is a man and not some mythological deity. His fear of Der Metzger will drive him to pull out all of stops at Revolution. But first… Odin will stand across the ring from his destroyer at Clash tomorrow in the star-studded main-event. Der Metzger will be primarily focused on causing bodily harm to Odin but that does not make anyone else safe from his wrath. Each of them faces critical danger once he has them within his sight. Stuart Slane knows first-hand how much of a living nightmare Der Metzger can be. He recently had his aspirations smothered by Der Metzger. There is no reason to believe round two will be any different of a result. Kyle Kemp is most-known for his affliction toward tag team wrestling. One would assume a match such as this all-star-extravaganza would benefit a man like him. Without The Following to keep him on the right path, he will go astray and his multitude of weaknesses will lead him right off a cliff. The plummet into the arms of Der Metzger will prove to be his final in a long line of mistakes. The final victim on this list is a man called Corey Black. A showdown between the self-proclaimed King of All Wrestlers and The Maine Event is something that is best saved for an AW Network special event. Fans of Action Wrestling will be treated tomorrow night to a glimpse of what is to come. It is an undeniable fact that Der Metzger is the true Letzter König. When the temporary World Champion takes his final bow, Der Metzger will carry the crown with great pride. All of this and much more to come. What's meant to be will always find a way.
