We open on a large wall comprised entirely of cinder blocks. Suddenly, the wall begins collapse and from behind it steps Victoria Richardson, sledgehammer in hand. Noticeably, Soldado Fortuna is not by her side
Victoria puts down the sledgehammer and picks up one of the cinder blocks that remained intact
Victoria slams the cinder block to the ground
"You want to know what I think your motive was? You saw the writing on the wall that we'd request a one-on-one match with you Jim to exact revenge for our tag team defeat. No more of this team nonsense to bail you out, no partners for you to turn to, just a straight up match, mano vs mano. You knew that in that situation and with Soldado at 100%, you stood no chance of beating my client. You were afraid of how embarrassing it would be when Soldado wrestled circles around you and made you look a mere fool in that ring with nobody else to blame but your own ineptitude. Fear is what led you to do what you did, Jim"
"Now, we've dealt with people needing to use foreign objects to defeat Soldado and its safe to say we didn't take too kindly to being cheated out of a victory...hell just ask your tag partner for the past couple of weeks Reo Raijin of what the consequences were for him. But you, Jim...you didn't care about winning. You didn't use that cinder block to give you an advantage on a path to victory for your team. No, you used it to try and keep my client down for good"
"Now, for most men, a cinder block to the head would've been enough. Unfortunately for you Jim, Soldado is not like all other men. He will not be kept down that easily"
"So now we finally get the singles match with you that we've wanted from the moment the refs handed counted to three and you had a tag team victory over Soldado. We should be happy, right? Well not only is Soldado not 100%, and truth be told probably shouldn't be competing, but it is also a falls count anywhere match, which means despite all of Soldado's best efforts to ensure the match remains within the ring, you Jim will inevitably take the match to the outside and beyond, devolving this wrestling match into nothing more than a brawl"
"Normal, we would dissect Soldado's upcoming opponents to lock onto their weaknesses and formulate a meticulous plan for how Soldado can beat them. But for this match, we have to throw any sense of methodical and systematic planning and execution out the window. Our only plan is to make you wish you'd never used that cinder block and never made Soldado feel the taste of his own blood. Soldado wants to beat you down so badly, you'll be seeing double by the end of the contest"
"This will be a true underdog victory for Soldado Fortuna. Against the advice of medical professionals, he'll step into the ring at far less than 100%, in a match type that entirely favours his opponent. The odds could not be more stacked against him...but that will only make leaving Jim Mud a broken and bloody mess all the sweeter"
