His first thought was to look towards his tag team partner, to place blame. The shattering truth is that it’s Raijin who’s to blame for the defeat. It’s not just a lost chance at tag team gold but a step backwards in his pursuit of J.C. Keeton.
The American Luchador will be walking into Turmoil coming off of defeat and Soldado coming off of a victory. That’s a hard pill to swallow and Raijin isn’t afraid to admit that. After CruiserClash Raijin's challenge will be about more than just trying to defeat Soldado, again. It's about resetting his momentum that he had built up in AW. He got knocked down a rung on that ladder that he had been climbing. That loss was a mental devastation. He was riding high in confidence to the point he had become cocky.
Raijin sits on the edge of his bed in his hotel as he had overslept and missed his flight. He needed to head to the airport and try to get on a flight for tonight as he didn't want to stay in this town any longer than he already has. His phone begins ringing only to remind him of the bell at the end of the match from CruiserClash. He picks the phone up and tosses it across the room. As it hits the wall is goes flying into several different pieces. This only angers him further.
"Freakin' A. That's all I need. A miss plane, a broken phone, and that... match last night. ERRRRR!
He stands up and walks into the bathroom and as he looks into the mirror his mind instantly replays the ending of that match from the night before.
Sierra comes in and clothesline CJ Phx off the apron and then back body drops Raijin over the top rope as well!
Sierra goes to the top rope and jumps off taking both of them down!
The ref starts his ten count!
Jimmy Garcia: What a tag match!
McCoy gets up and jumps over the ropes and takes down Phoenix and Raijin as well!
The ref is still counting!
Sierra and McCoy roll into the ring
The ref hits

10!

Raijin and Phoenix got out played by the rules. After he used the rules to his advantage at XIII. He lost by someone else using the rules against him.
He walks back into the other room and sees his mask on the bedside table. He walks over and picks it up and holds it in his hand.
"I hate this thing."
He tosses it across the room. In a moment of reflection he begins to calm down and walks over and picks up his mask, it's his crutch. It's the reason he's in AW and it's the only thing keeping Jonathan Cade Keeton from knowing his true identify. No, he can't lose the mask. It's his rule.
"What am I doing? It's one match. I'm going to lose. It happens."
He walks over and begins picking up the pieces of his phone. In a way it's a metaphor for him pulling himself back together and moving forward.
Turmoil isn't far off and he won't let this affect that match. He'll be at his best again on that night. He'll have to be at his best.
