OOC:
How old where you when you got started in Efeding?
Mid-thirties (I am a late bloomer).
How did you get into Efeding?
I used to post on the Wrestlecrap Board Forums. They had a Games Section that included an efed. I lurked for a bit then tried my hand.
What was the name of your first character in efedding?
Titanothere (he was an expy of Big Van Vader)
What is something you like about efedding and something you don't like about efedding?
Like: Collaboration. Big fan of writing segments and plotting storylines
Dislike: Being or seeing someone who has worked their ass off but still loses. Efedding is a competiton and you have to have winners and losers, but it's also a creative/artistic process. You're putting yourself out there when you make something and when it's judged not good enough, even if it's the right call, it adds to the pain of losing.
What is some of the inspiration behind your current character or characters?
As a heel he's a little OG Kurt Angle, a little William Regal, and a little JBL. As a face I imagine him as "Captain America without the charisma."
One year from now, what do you expect to see your character doing in Action Wrestling?
Mid-card. Like to try and do some more tag team stuff at some point.
What match does your character favor the most in Action Wrestling?
Whatever puts me in the 2-3k word count range.
Whats a dream match-up for your character using any efed universe you've ever been apart of past or present?
Wish I could go back in time and do the Jonny Fly vs. Scoutmaster feud right. Twice I essentially bailed on stories with him. He deserved better, and I think if I stuck around it would have been better for me as an efedder and for Stu's own 'legacy'.
From your characters perspective, who do you see as the top three stars in Action Wrestling? Rank them in order!
From an OOC perspective, who are the top three stars in Action Wrestling and you don't have to rank them in any order?
Carter Shaw, Lissie Hope, and Howard Black all stand out because they're simultaneously very talented writers and also very engaged in what's going on.
From an OOC perspective, what is some advice you can give to someone in Action Wrestling right now?
If you got an issue or you're feeling down talk to an admin. Tort, GD, and Jordan all have been very helpful and supportive when I've dealt with them.
What is some of the best advice you have gotten from someone in AW?
Basically what I said above. Talk to a mod if you've got a problem.
What is a moment in any results or kayfabe that stands out to you as one of your favorite that doesn't involve your character?
I thought the Raging Dead Tribute show was great.
What is a few of the top moments for your character in Action Wrestling?
Finishing 2nd in both the King of Clash Match as Trey Bouchet and the US Title Match as Stuart Slane at Clash 100 was cool. I had fun with the AberSlane stuff too!

John Thomas: Welcome back to John Thomas Live, we're always live every week day from 8am to 1pm on Fox Sports, and of course we are simulcasteeeeed live on thousands of radio stations, and of course you can download the daily feed every single day as soon as the show is over and listen to me wherever you go, and you know we're half way through the show which means it's time for CHAT ZONE presented by Dollar Shave Club, Everything you need in the bathroom – from razor blades to grooming products – automatically delivered to your door. It doesn't get any simpler than that, folks and we got a good one now!
Fire up the phone, it's Chat Zone time and I do believe we have the man, the man, the maaaaan, Stuart Slane on the line, Stuart how the hell are ya, bud?

Stuart Slane: "Great, great"
John Thomas: As you know Chat Zone is just a few minutes long, not a lot of time, we do rapid fire questions but because of the quickness of it, we get right into the thick of it, so I ask.. You retired Cormack and then had a great run in the United States Championship battle royal and were VERY close to winning the US title but Howard Black bested you in the end? Is it hard coming back from a loss that stingy, where you're very close, or is it something where you know what you did was enough you just didn't finish it off the right way?
Stuart Slane: "The latter. Howard Black is a spectacular talent, one of the best in the company, but the results of that match confirm to me that if he and I were to face off one on one I would be prove myself the better man."
John Thomas: When you prepare for a match every where, are you usually satisfied with the outcome win or lose, or is there matches where you know you could have done better?
Stuart Slane: "I am never satisified with a loss. You'll never hear me brag about taking Wrestler X 'to the limit'. There is no 'looking good in defeat'. You either get the job done or you don't."
John Thomas: What is a Championship belt that best suits you right now?
Stuart Slane: "The People's Championship, of course. The belt you currently know as The United States Title."
John Thomas: OOOoooooh, calling your shot, big man Stuart Slane, going for Howie's belt already, not messing around.. Where do you see yourself after Evolution IV next June?
Stuart Slane: "Defending my People's Championship."
John Thomas: My god!! Its getting hot in here, Stuart Slane, haha, letting them know he wants that belt and he wants it now, Slane, If theres one thing we need to know about you and maybe the public doesn't know, Slane, what would that be?
Stuart Slane: "As much as anything this sport has made me the man I am today. I love wrestling. It's just that most of the wrestlers in it fail to live up to the standards I set for myself."
John Thomas: Thank you, Slane! He's gotta go!
Line disconnects.
John Thomas: Oh my goodddd what a Chat Zone, one of the best, right? I mean, he's throwing down the challenge basically, he wants that United States Championship belt. Now I'm ready for Clash, now I'm ready to see what the hell he has for Howard Black? Do we see Slane call him out on Clash? My god, what a soundbite, I'm going to play this all week. Stuart Slane just went from maybe one of my top 15, top 20 guys to TOP FIVE. HES GOING IN MY TOP 5 JAMS, No kidding, I love it. We'll be right back on John Thomas Live, you're listening to Fox Sports RAAAAAddiiooooo..
