A ginger haired man wearing a nice, dark blue suit with a black bowtie is seen in an office, sitting in a backwards folding chair behind a desk. A small nameplate on the desk reads “Auron Vega M.D.”. There seems to be something important on his mind, but his poker face leaves many questions, as it takes him a moment to speak to the live camera.
Hello Action Wrestling. This is Auron Vega of the Anaheim Security Unit. I am recording this to give everyone a medical update on Action Wrestling star, and fellow ASU member, Jason “Skar” Zurra. As you most likely tuned in last week, you saw the match between Jason Zurra and Corey Bull for the “Hatebringer” Championship, and what had occurred in the end of the match, but I will remind those with shot memory spans. Jason Zurra was crushed between the ring apron and a dumpster, rendering him unconscious, and allowing Corey Bull to win the match. This, obviously, sent Jason to a local hospital, where they found severe damage to his spine and legs. Naturally, as I am his personal doctor, as is my place within the ASU, he ended up being transferred here in Anaheim. I was taken aback when I saw my patient and good friend wheelchair bound.
Auron sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose, then refocuses on the camera. Even with everything he has said, his poker face remains.
I regret to inform everyone that Jason Zurra will not be competing this week against Alex Richards, or in general, for quite some time. With multiple tears in both of his quads, and a brutal spinal cord injury, it will take a year, at best, for Jason to make a full recovery, and even by that point, we aren’t sure if Jason will be cleared to compete, due to his unfortunate spinal cord injury. He will be getting the best doctors, including yours truly, and will be receiving multiple surgeries and will be given the best care possible for his treatment. However, with bad news, there is also good news.
With a smirk, a slight amount of emotion is finally shown from his face.
As we usually do, the Anaheim Security Unit had a meeting about what our next plan of… action… would be for Action Wrestling. Jason was involved in this meeting, as we would not want to leave any member out of the equation. This meeting was to decide on which of us would be joining Action Wrestling. I know many would want more than one of us to be in the promotion at the same time, but with our usual duties, and especially after Jason’s injury, we will be sticking with one member at one time. Back to the news, after a long discussion, and a bit of debate, it was decided that I would be the one joining Action Wrestling.
He gives off a smile for a second, but quickly returns to a poker face.
This has its limits, however. Per Jason’s request, I will not be facing the likes of Corey Bull. Not because I am not capable, but to keep Jason’s slight paranoia at bay. Due to me being within the weight class, I will start within the “201 & Fun” division. This will be a good opportunity, given the current champion is none other than Zombie McMorris, AKA Z-MAC. For those that are wondering, yes, I will still be helping Jason make a speedy recovery, though, of course, there will be many other top tier doctors helping him all the way. I look forward to stepping into Action Wrestling, and I hope that everyone is looking forward to my debut. I thank everyone for tuning in, and I am sure we all wish Jason Zurra a swift, speedy recovery. Thanks again, and I will see you all very soon.
Auron awkwardly smiles before standing up, adjusting his suit, and walking away from the camera, before the recording comes to a close.
