Lissie Hope: ...right here? I sit here?
The camera fades in to a prerecorded video. The fans explode at the sight of Lissie Hope, who takes a seat on a round stool in the middle of the frame. Hallmark-style elevator music is soft in the background. Lissie smiles, obviously feeling a little nervous but still showing a ton of familiarity with whoever is behind the camera.
Lissie Hope: I'm Lissie Hope, and I was Action Wrestling's Miss All-In 2019.
She smiles and flexes her bicep.
Adeline Floyd: So tell me, Lissie, what's the first thing you remember about that night one year ago.
Lissie Hope: Oh gosh. I mean-- the crowd. The energy. You see, it ended up being the main event. Nobody told us that! *chuckles* We had no idea that the World Title match would be the opening contest and the All-In would be the ending. So by the time we got to that point, and we all knew Dandy DiVito had taken out Ryan Lockhart... there was something different about that energy, man. I don't know how to describe it.
Adeline Floyd: Give it a shot.
The opening notes of "Running Up That Hill" by Placebo begins as a video montage of the crowd from last year's event begins playing, with Lissie still being interviewed.
Lissie Hope: It's... uplifting. To hear those sounds - the cheers. The boos. Even the shrill sound of metal scraping when you pulled out a ladder. Just close your eyes, and imagine this... you hear the splintering of wood, and the cracking of bone when a body crashes through it. Then you hear thirty-thousand people collectively... gasp. And then what? Silence. As they process what they just witnessed... absolute silence.
Adeline Floyd: I was out there. I remember.
Lissie Hope: And then the "holy shits" start. And you can hear Billy screaming "shitfire" at ringside. It's incredible. It's during those moments when that you realize you're capable of anything.
Adeline Floyd: You were one of the ones falling off the ladders.
Lissie Hope: I had to give everything I had. That's what it takes to be All-In.
The song crescendos with a visual of Lissie Hope falling twelve feet with a codebreaker from Teo Blaze.
Lissie Hope: Christ, I haven't watched this in a long time. I thought I was out after that one. At this point, it seemed like this was all Teo.
Adeline Floyd: But it wasn't.
The video continues to show the ending sequence.
Lissie Hope: I don't remember spitting on him. Jeez-
Adeline Floyd: Do you remember this?
Lissie Hope: I do.
Lissie Hope: That moment changed my life.
Lissie catches a final glimpse of the screen playing the video. In the front rows, screaming the loudest, was her brother Robbie Hope. Lissie exhales, feeling a little discomfort in her chair. Adeline notices and is a pro about it, handing her a bottle of water. She reaches over and closes the laptop.
Lissie Hope: There are always going to be those moments in this industry, but you can't be afraid to reach out and grab them. This match, what it means and what it represents -- it's designed to be a career-defining moment. When you pull down that briefcase, you hold all the power. You can determine the course of Action Wresting at the drop of a hat. I'm not saying this to scare those who are participating... it's just the truth. All-In is a gamechanger... and whoever wins it, becomes a gamechanger.
Adeline Floyd: Do you have any predictions on how it's going to go tonight?
Lissie Hope: I don't... I can't. I can just offer advice. I hope Derrick Vayden doesn't get blinded by his rage. I hope Carter Shaw doesn't wilt under the massive spotlight. I hope Karlie Nash and Corey Bull and Wesley and Crow McMorris can leap over the hurdles that have kept them from having this moment sooner. I hope the Adler Twins take this thing as seriously as it needs to be.
Adeline Floyd: No words for Frank Lowe?
Lissie shakes her head 'no'.
Adeline Floyd: What does it take to win this match?
Lissie Hope: Everything. Everything you can give, all the punishment you can take. Your heart has to will you through the pain.
Adeline Floyd: Any final advice?
Lissie Hope: Be extraordinary.

TEO GRABS THE TOP OF THE LADDER JUST IN TIME!
Lissie reaches up for the Briefcase!
Teo punches! Teo punches! Teo with a third right hand!
Lissie is waving her arms losing balance!
She grabs the top of the ladder and spits in the face of Teo!
She slaps Teo!

SHE REACHES UP.
LISSIE UNHOOKS THE BRIEFCASE.
LISSIE HOPE IS ... ALL-IN.
