As my colleague Real John Thomas recently suggested, I'm hearing it IS true that "The Spitfire" QDT has been experiencing more serious issues than his recent concussion picked up in the match with Jacqui Monroe on the June 29th Clash.
Tragically, the 21 year old superstar was diagnosed with a tumor next to his brain. My understanding is that this was successfully removed thanks to elite surgery paid for by QDT's mysterious "BENEFACTORS". However, his near death experience has forced QDT to focus on his baby daughter above his wrestling career. I have been told that Tawny Layne has finally granted him visitation access of young Debonair.
QDT is in Springfield for tonight's Monday Night Clash and will break the news of his retirement. This brings to a premature end an impressive near 2 year spell in Action Wresting where the Englishman won 4 Cruiserweight Titles, the first Cruiserweight Havoc and achieved creditable 3rd and 4th placed finishes in Havoc Rumbles. He also has achieved victories over Wade Moor, Teo Blaze, Graham Baker and Derrick Vayden. Arguably, however, he did not achieve his full potential in AW as he was voted "Future World Champion" in the 2019 awards and has not gotten near to that point as of yet.
Despite this, well placed sources tell me that Quixote is at peace with his decision and has more ambitions of being a good Father than a good Champion. Best of luck to him.
