“Come Join The Clown, Eds” by Benjamin Wallfisch hits the PA as Tatters comes out on to the stage, extra animated next to his counterpart Muffins, who stands stalwart behind Tatters. Tatters pulls a microphone from his doublet, insistent on announcing his own arrival to the ring, his childish voice giddy and gleeful.
Tatters The Tantalizing: ON HIS WAY TO THE RING...FROM THE GREAT GIBTOWN, FLORIDA...IT IS THE WONDERFUL, THE MAGNIFICENT...TATTERS THE TANTALIZING...and his best friend Muffins!
The two walk down the ramp, Tatters moving towards the people in the front rows, who back away anxiously as the devilish clown walks towards them, a grin splitting the greasepaint covering his macabre face. As they approach the ring, Muffins sets his hands out and launches Tatters into the ring over the top rope, who performs a picture perfect somersault, rolls through, and leaps to his feet. He cartwheels through the ring, awaiting the start of the match.
