"Good evening, Action Wrestling. Your regularly scheduled programming is in dire need of an interruption courtesy of the Whiteface Thriller, the Undead Underdog, the greatest Cruiserweight Champion in Action Wrestling history… The Raging Dead!"
"Okay, okay, fine. That last part might not be true. You know the story. I won the title in a unification match before even signing a contract. I successfully defended it against the absolute best to ever hold the belt. Then it took eight… EIGHT… people to work together to eliminate me from Cruiserweight Havoc. Then I left that division and went on to be one of the losingest stars in recent history."
"At Battlefield… I have the opportunity of a lifetime when I conquer seven of the best in the world. But I've already gone on for ages about my plans for that. What else is there? Well… there's a Cruiserweight Championship Gauntlet! No… I'm not in the match… but there's probably an open spot. One entrant has been a total loser who isn't worthy by any means… and D-Day still includes them in the match."
"Is Raging Dead gonna have to return to conquer the cruiserweights… again? J.C. Keeton has taken the division by storm since CW Havoc… and he deserves to be in that top spot. While QDT had risen and conquered the division once again… Keeton came in with a passion for excellence that took everyone by surprise. All of his challengers at Battlefield… they know what they’re up against. Any one of them could catch him off guard and leave with that belt. But… then what?”
“Thomas Snow. Phoenix LeStrange. Kabukii. Bolas de Arana. What heights are you prepared to take that belt to if… IF… you are able to pull off a victory on Sunday? Are you ready to live up to the legacy that QDT, Vayden and I left behind? All four of you deserve to be in this match. You’ve fought for everything that is about to happen… win or lose. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose at Battlefield. I advise all of you to fight like there’s no tomorrow… because Keeton will do the same.”
“How do I know what Keeton will do? Because I was Keeton. For a brief time… the weight of the cruiserweight division was on my shoulders. At the time… all we wanted was a show of our own. I didn’t stick around long enough to see CruiserClash come to fruition… but I’ve watched every week… and it’s been damn impressive what you all have done this year. As much as it seems like I am talking up the Cruiserweight Division to make a triumphant return… that’s not at all what’s happening here. I’m just doing all of this… for her…”
“I have not formally introduced myself. My name is Sara Pettis. I am the daughter of two legends, Amp and Ice. My parents could not have been a worse pairing, and I am thankful that my mother Ice married another legend… Aj Nin Red Rum. Upon entering the wrestling business when I was still a teenager… I was given the moniker Child of Fate. Fate brought me to this dance… and for a number of years, there was nobody better. From [REDACTED] to Majestic Wrestling to DREAM… really anywhere I called home… I was the best of the best. My life took an unforeseen turn when I added my most impressive title to my list of achievements: mother.”
“My daughter is the light of my life… and my reason for being on this Earth. My life could not be more perfect. I have her… my husband… our wrestling academy. Life is good. All along… I wondered what would happen if I were to return to the business that I was born into. We’ve run our own events through the academy and I got back in there… just to see if I still had it. Guess what? It’s still there. Motherhood only made me stronger… and now I want more. While my husband is tearing it up on Monday Night Clash… how great would it be for me to tear it up on CruiserClash?”
“No, I have not spoken with anyone at Action Wrestling about this. No, I have not even submitted an application for employment. This is just a warning to every one of the cruiserweights… including my brothers, Chris and Ricky… that the return of Sara Pettis is inevitable… and you’re all on notice. If there is a spot available on CruiserClash… you better believe I’ll be coming for it. That Cruiserweight Championship will be coming home where it belongs.”
“That’s all I’ve got. Was it okay?”
“Yeah, it’s good. It’s a good start. This was just a test anyway. I’m not going to send it in to the AW Network.”
“Oh… uhh… this just aired live…”
“WHAT?!”
