It is hard to say where it all began, but then, when you lived most of your life in a cell with pads and hands locked behind your back, you sometimes have to accept the unnatural place to start from. A field in Kentucky, yep Ken’fucking’tucky. One would imagine there are probably stranger and worse places to wake up in, but then one might not have actually awoken in a field in Ken’fucking’tucky. Look we remember it kindly, don’t get me wrong, how could we not? It is one of those experiences that is permanently ingrained in your brain.
We woke up, green grass and stalks around us. It wasn’t your typical field, it was a field of what people in the south call coastal, the kind of cheap natural growing grass that you bale into hey and feed to your livestock. Yet we felt there was something surreal about it, something so amazing and pleasant. Imagine going to a baseball game, seeing that sprawling green grass, but amplify it by 10,000 and have it be long and unmanicured. Add in a superb amount of sunlight on a warm day, boom you have what we felt that.
We seem to be remembering things a bit differently there. It wasn’t a surreal moment, or even a nice one. Panic filled us from the moment our eyes opened, to the moment we found our way out. Let us not forget there were wild animals, giant black four legged creatures with big ass heads that screamed ‘moooo’ at us every time we tried to move or go anywhere. No pleasant and beautiful was not a thing we thought it was.
Let me set the scene, darkness fills your eyes, then bam you awake to bright light, surrounded by a sea of swaying green grass. It flowed like the waves of a small pond or lake. That bright sun, it punished your eyes and tortured your mind, all the while the local creatures of the land stalked you with their tongues flapping around outside of their giant heads
Making matters worse the damn creatures stalked around as if expecting handouts. Thankfully we escaped that prison and hell, only to find a new one in the world. No one hires a guy that doesn’t have a license or know his date of birth. Those circumstances bring about extreme measures, and so with that we did what everyone in our position would do…
Christ make it sound like the worst thing imaginable. At least we were out of that god forsaken hell hole where those fucking clowns poured pills down our throat. Sure being a zombie with no emotion can be great, but fuck that, we need more and you bitches know it.Truth is waking up in that field was a fucking godsend, and I want to fucking kiss and blow whoever got us the fuck out of that last hospital.
My turn to tell the story, years and years of comatose pain being trapped within our body with no way to escape. Have you ever been tied down to a bed, mouth gagged, begging for help, begging to be set free hoping that anyone would come along and let you go? Yeah that’s what it felt like, imagine slowly dying on the inside as you tried to figure out just what was going on in your life and why no one would help you, listen to you.
Fucking wankers all of them, so when we woke up in that field we didn’t see green, no it was fucking heaven. We were free of the pain and strife that came in our life before, released upon this motherfucking world with a chance to do what we never got to do before, be free. All those years trapped in the cells, poked and prodded, pills dumped down our throats, that field was an oasis, the first step on a road to something we had craved for years. FREEDOM!!!!
So we can all agree on one thing, that moment, that field, it was the moment that we were set free, given the opportunity we had dreamt about for years. As we tried to say before, we did what every other logical person in our position would have done, we decided to become a wrestler, the one job that our unique skills came in handy. Now that you know where we came from, don’t be a stranger. But be very afraid. Because you fuckers don’t have any idea what is coming for you. Have a nice day!
