The scene opens up on a close up of Thomas Snow. His eyes shift from one focus to another as he awkwardly sips on a mug of hot cocoa. The view slowly shifts to Thomas’ left where his boyfriend Cooper is revealed, an uncomfortable smile on his face as his gaze shifts from his boyfriend to something off-screen. This is revealed to be Lissie Hope, who is avoiding direct eye contact with both men. To Lissie’s left is her girlfriend and Thomas’ best friend, Sierra Silver, who is wearing a sly, mischievous smile.
The four had agreed to a double date of sorts in order to celebrate Hope’s conquering of Corey Bull at Revolution 3, finally putting the whole nightmare behind her. The whole time Sierra wore the same impish smile.
Okay, what? Thomas finally asks his friend.
What what? Sierra replies, feigning innocence, her already wide smile somehow growing.
You’ve been smiling like a little devil since we got here. What’s up?
Sierra bursts into giggles as if she had been holding them in for hours.
I’m just wondering when I can say I told you so!
For what??
I told you Lissie was legit. She’s been nothing but sweet to me, even after the match between you two!
Lissie smiles and leans over to kiss Sierra. They gaze into each other’s eyes for a few moments before turning back towards Thomas and Cooper, noticing their skeptical looks. Sierra sighs.
Tommy, I appreciate you worrying about me, but she’s-
Lissie puts a hand on Sierra’s shoulder.
Bruh. You got a problem with me or somethin’?
I just don’t want Sierra to get hurt. She’s been my best friend for as long as I can remember, she’s pretty much my sister.
I get it, man. I’m a little sister, too. No one I ever took home would last a day without his approval. Without his acceptance. But let me tell you a little secret... I did what I wanted to do anyway. Now Sierra can make her own choices, y’know? And we are happy together. This girl has pulled me from some deep shit and she’s got me thinking clearer than I have in a long time.
I really do want to believe you, but frankly, your track record makes it very hard to do that.
Tommy.
I ain’t gon’ drag her down with me. I ain’t gon’ hurt her. Just let us be happy, man.
Thomas swaps glances with Lissie then Sierra and finally to Cooper, who gives him a “you’re on your own” look and shrugs. He sighed.
You’re right. I-I’m sorry… Can we maybe start over?
Please.
Thomas looks at Lissie with a remorseful look on his face. She studies him for a moment before shrugging and nodding. Snow released the breath he had been holding in anticipation.
What followed was a conversation of various small talk topics, as if it were an awkward first date. They discussed how they met their significant others, told stories of happy childhood memories. Soon enough, both Lissie and Thomas began to relax, even occasionally chuckling at one another’s jokes and anecdotes. All the while Sierra grew more and more relieved as her friends and girlfriend began to get along.
Two hours passed. As time went on, Thomas’ face grew more and more anxious, as something clearly began to weigh on his mind. Finally, when Sierra was finished talking about the latest anime she had been watching, he came out with it.
So, Lissie… I need to ask you something.
What’s up?
Well, I’m facing Corey Bull this week.
Oh. And you’re looking for some tips for taking him on?”
Thomas nods sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head as if embarrassed by asking for help. Lissie just smiled.
I might be able to give you something.
And you think that will work?
Lissie shrugs.
Worked for me, didn’t it?
Thomas chuckles and nods. Lissie downs the rest of her coffee, as does Sierra.
Well, it’s been fun but I got a match I need to prep for.
And I have… something… to prepare for.
Thomas gives Sierra a confused look, who responds with a playful wink. He turns to Lissie for answers instead. She shrugs in return.
Hey, don’t look at me. She won’t tell me either.
You’ll see! You’ll all see!
Lissie chuckles and puts an arm around her girlfriend’s waist. The two wave goodbye to the boys as they turn and make their way out.
When the girls are gone, Cooper speaks up.
“Well… That went better than expected.”
Thomas shrugs.
I’m a little surprised you two ended up getting along, to be honest.
We don’t. At least I don’t feel that way with her.
What? You serious?
As a heart attack. I needed info on Bull. Simple as that. I still don’t trust her one bit.
Oooh. Since when did you become a bad boy?
Since I realized that I won’t get anywhere being the nice guy anymore. I’m tired of being the guy everyone thinks they can push around just because I haven’t been in this business for decades yet. There are people in pro wrestling that have been doing this since before I was even born who have never won a world title. I did it within a month of being signed yet I still don’t get any respect. So if I have to earn it by showing some shades of grey, then so be it.
All right, fair enough. But what are you gonna do about Si?
Sierra can do whatever she wants, so I won’t try to stop her. But I see through Lissie’s game. She’s using her and will toss her away whenever she’s done. That’s why I don’t feel bad about using Lissie to get ahead.
Cooper thinks about it for a moment before chuckling.
Damn. I’m digging this new attitude, babe.
A small smirk crosses Thomas’ face.
Me too.
The two men share a kiss.
So… about that shades of grey talk…

You know what they say, Corey. When it rains, it pours. After months of tormenting and attacking my friends and even myself at one point, you finally got what’s coming to you. You and Lissie went face to face at Revolution 3 and she vanquished you like the monster you are.
Now… now it’s my turn. Lissie and I may not see eye to eye, but she did not deserve what you put her through. On top of that, there’s no way I’m going to forget about you dragging my best friend into all of it too. That’s why I can’t let you win. That’s why you won’t win. And Bull, after everything you’ve done to me and my best friend, there’s no way I’m going down without a fight.
Corey, we have more in common than you might be willing to admit. We both started and found success outside of Action Wrestling and we both seem to have been dealt an unfortunate hand since arriving here. The difference is that you’ve been here a lot longer than I have. You’ve been in this business a lot longer than me overall and look at what’s happened. It took me one month to do what took you your entire career to do. I became a world champion before I was old enough to legally drink alcohol.
Imagine if that were you if you won anything before age 21. That would be horrible, wouldn’t it? Having no way to drown out your sorrows after every difficult loss
I’ve heard horror stories about people not handling rejection well but you, Bull, are a whole different story. Lissie left you hanging in a boiler room and now you’re pissed at the world. Do you know how many guys have stood me up in the past? Well, none because guys like me don’t get stood up. But someone like you should be used to it by now, shouldn’t you? But my point is, even if someone did stand me up, I wouldn’t go full terrorist stalker mode on them.
Though like you, I have had daddy issues in the past, those are well documented. So there we go, we can both relate to that. Oh, but I didn’t kill mine, did I? Wait, of course, you didn’t kill yours either. That was all alleged, right? Nothing was ever proven. Give me a break, it's about as obvious as the whole #PutDownTheMongrel incident. But nobody even cares enough about you to look into it any further or start some pointless hashtag to take you down.
Maybe if you spent more time learning to wrestle and less time putting together your nasty little love dolls, you’d win more matches and be considered for more title opportunities and you wouldn’t have to complain about not getting any.
Speaking of your love dolls, I can’t even imagine how that must feel. I mean, I didn’t have many friends as a kid, only one really. But I can’t imagine how depressing it must be to only have the imaginary voices of the doll’s in your head to keep you company. That sounds just dreadful, to be honest with you, hon. I’ll be your friend, Bull.
...Is what I would say if I ever lost my mind. I’m sorry to burst your bubble, but I really don’t want to be associated with you in any way. Even though I’m sure you’ve got a Thomas Snow doll lying around that nasty little warehouse you squat in for when you’re feeling extra freaky.
But don’t worry, Corey. I’ll make sure you end up right where you need to be after the fact you were beaten by Lissie Hope and Thomas Snow back to back inevitably drives you insane yet again. Maybe, if you’re lucky, you’ll end up in the same mental ward as that demented sister of yours. Who doesn’t just love a nice, psychotic family reunion?
Listen to me, Bull. I may be young, but I’m no little kid. I’m not afraid of monsters or things that go bump in the night. The boogeyman isn’t real but I’m aware that you are. But the thing about you that’s different than those monsters you see in the movies is that you can be beaten. Quite easily, I might add! You’re not immortal like Jason Vorhees or Michael Myers, you have a weakness and I plan to exploit that fact.
I’m not afraid of you. I will not be intimidated by you. My name is Thomas freaking Snow and I’m going to beat you. Not only because I need to…
Because I want to.
Now… now it’s my turn. Lissie and I may not see eye to eye, but she did not deserve what you put her through. On top of that, there’s no way I’m going to forget about you dragging my best friend into all of it too. That’s why I can’t let you win. That’s why you won’t win.
