Corey Black is sitting at his desk once again.
"From the bottom to the top, that's the story of Teo Blaze. Five and a half years ago, Teddy Blaze earned himself a contract. He had one match. A single, solitary match where he failed to get the win. Then he was gone. Like a fleeting memory about the smell of your grandma's apple pie. Teddy Blaze realized after just one match that he wasn't cut out for the big time. So a year later, a plucky luchador came into the green and black with a smile and a hopeful attitude about his future. Nobody took him seriously. Nobody wanted Teo Del Sol to be anything more than an action figure selling hype machine. He sat in his role well for years, doing nothing but sitting in the mid-card and racking up mid level titles wins he'll hang his hat on to this day. An unremarkable run capped off with an embarrassing Mustache-level program for King of All Media. Flipping between Teo Del Sol and Teddy Blaze like it's supposed to mean something. Creeping Death wasn't just a mask, Ted. It wasn't a way to reinvent myself and try to salvage a career. You putting the red tinted glasses back on and losing the mask that Seth Lerch used to print money was one of the worst mistakes you ever made. Creeping Death.. that was a possession. Against my will. And when we defeated it and Kevin Bishop took it, I can say that was my greatest moment. When I knew I didn't have to suffer with it anymore.
You could come out of the back at Turmoil with the mask on and the Teo Del Sol nameplate, nobody would bat an eye. It would be business as usual for such a 'dynamic' dude. A guy that cannot find his footing in Action Wrestling after he was literally given the world in a past life.
Don't think for one second that I wasn't the man behind that, Teo. You don't think it's strange that as soon as I take over, you're getting shots at bigger and bigger names? I saw something in you, hell I still see it. It's in there, you just have to find it for yourself. I showed you the way, you took Dune to the limit twice. And it was Corey Black giving you the chances. Me, I created you Teo. I made you the man you are right now and believe me when I say I will Doctor Frankenstein your entire life away with a snap of my fingers. You took my creation and you've made an absolute mockery of yourself yet again. You showed up at Evolution II, the night I destroyed Jaice Wilds, and rode the wave I generated. You lost the US Title Tournament at Glory. You lost the US Title four way at Carnage. You lost the All-In Ladder Match. You lost the World Title Elimination Chamber Match at Execution. You had a showing on TWO SHOWS during WrestleSeason. Congrats, you won a Trios Trophy without even beating the best trio in the company. Must feel nice. I drove Alex Richards through he mat for thinking it made him better than me. It doesn't mean shit until you beat the Man Made Gods.
Teo, I'm sorry, this is it for you. This Hardcore Title Match is your last chance at any fucking relevancy here in Action Wrestling. When you inevitably botch the shit out of this chance, it's done. You should just go back to where you came from.
Without me, you'd be sitting at a bar in Tijuana wondering what could have been. And now because of me, and because you THINK you're somehow even close to my level, you're going to end up in that bar a couple of months late. When you are on your last few dollars and you ask the bartender for one mas tequila.. remember who gave you the highest of highs and your lowest of lows. Remember who exposed your mask and glasses game to the world, the man that lived the horrors of Creeping Death, the King of All fuckin' Wrestlers - and still the Action Wrestling Hardcore Champion."
Corey looks over to his left, the title itself sits upright on his desk.
"Someone please notify the authorities, Johnny Stylez is the dumbest motherfucker on the planet and admitted to grand theft. Enjoy it while it lasts, if they don't get to you before I do, I'm going to slap the plaque off your grimey teeth and make their job easier - you can be found in the hospital after your neck gets snapped like a twig. Your brains are already scrambled, you don't even know what matches took place on a show you were featured on. You wrestled in Japan, you lost to Beau Del Sol, the winner of that mini tournament got a shot at my Hardcore Title on the first episode of WrestleSeason.
But you Teo'd that shot away real quick. So yeah, I defended against some asshat that was less hardcore than I am and beat the shit out of you. Weird how the world works. And now here we are, you're challenging me for "just" the Action Wrestling Hardcore Title, as if the thing you're literally killing yourself for doesn't mean anything because Frank is World Champion. Here's a little insight - it isn't always about me. I do my shit like I do and when my friends succeed, I am damn proud of them. You'd never know how it feels, you've been alone your whole life. Not by choice, because you're an insufferable bastard that will never form a coherent thought.
You're both just couple of guys that no longer have the means to do any real damage to anyone worth a shit in this company. You're both a shadow of your former selves, which is saying a lot for Johnny because he was never dick to begin with.
Big lol."
