Psycho Vulcan Sentai (Kaz), Derrick Vayden, and 3 more like this

Debut matches are special. They offer everyone an opportunity to make an impression, to introduce themselves. This week, I’m debuting against two guys, one of whom is doing the same. One of us gets to impress and two of us will get to play goat.
I’m going to say this loud and clear so there is no ambiguity: I am no goat. I am the future of this Cruiserweight division. I am destined to be champion and unseat the likes of Derrick Vayden. But I don’t expect that shot right away. I have to earn it. You have to know who I am before I can rise to the top of these ranks. So…this week, I’ll introduce myself.
I am a veteran of the technical wrestling world. I can tie a man into knots he didn’t know his body could achieve. When Clash comes, I’ll show you.
I am a tough as nails, never-say-die machine with an endless well of drive and persistence. When Clash comes, I’ll show you.
I am a damn cat with nine lives. I can survive your worst and come back for more. When Cash comes, I’ll show you.
Just know that I am here to prove to everyone that I am qualified to be here, to be wrestling in that ring, to be holding that microphone, to have my hand raised by AW officials. But I don’t want to just show you I’m good enough to be here. I want to prove to you - all of you - that I’m the future here. When the time comes for AW2k21, I’ll be on the cover, and I’ll have a career mode. I’m not here to just take over. I’m here to earn my damn spot. When Clash comes, I’ll show you.
So I am tasked with debuting against Flop and Sun Vulcan Sentai. Ok. Cool. We saw flop live up to his name last week in a flailing debut against two guys who have been around the block. Quite the disadvantage. Flop draws a former CW Champion and a man who’s as close to a former World Champion as one can be all in his first match here? And he lost, huh? Well, it’s clear then: Flop doesn’t have what it takes to be champion or what it takes to be close to the champion. Flop can’t hold his own against the best of the best. That will be a shame for him come Clash, since standing across the ring from him will be me: the best of the damn best. It’s just Flops luck that last week he drew a past champion and this week he drew a future champion. 0-2 is a hell of a rough start to a career, but I’m sure you can find your way out of the hole I’ll help you dig yourself, Flop.
And Sun Vulcan Sentai, the masked hero. No one doing what’s right wears a mask outside of the comics, man. Justice doesn’t need to hide its face. Yet...you feel compelled to wear one. It makes me wonder...what are you planning here? What evil intentions are you hiding behind the guise of a mask? Haven’t you ever read a masterpiece like Watchmen? Hell, just watch the HBO show. Masks make people feel untouchable. Masks allow you to fulfill your worst instincts and desires without suffering for it. Your words scream hero, but your mask...your mask screams villain. It tells us all that you don’t want to have to face the consequences of your actions or accept responsibility for the people you hurt. Your mask tells me that you’re a coward. It tells me your lips are quivering in fear behind that mask, that your hands are shaking under those gloves. It tells me you’ve got secrets to hide and fears to obscure. I hate to break it to you, Sentai: I love unmasking monsters, and your mask looks ripe for the picking.
Everything in life is about identity. Who we are. What we do. How we operate. You don’t know me yet, but when Clash comes, you will. Hello, Action Wrestling. I am VHS. I might not be your favorite yet, but…I will be.
