Bio:
Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, Alexander Daniels was your ordinary kid growing up who discovered a love of wrestling at an early age. Trying out for several of Glasgow's wrestling schools from the age of 13, Daniels was always a step behind the other wrestlers in the class. He was raised a polite, well mannered boy and that hindered him when it came to the wrestling business, he didn't have that winner mentality of the intesity required to break out and get his name on the cards.
At the age of 18, Daniels was ready to give it up and head into the family business, his father owning a Taxi. Daniels needed the money, he was still staying at home and with nothing in his head other than being a professional wrestler he had no plans for college or university.
Then, on November 5th 2008, 1 month after his 18th birthday, Daniels was training with some of the other wrestlers, one who was a bit of a hot head and destined to be the next big thing in British wrestling. Daniels made an error during a routine training exercise causing the hot head to fall to the floor. The kid stood up and started to get aggresive with Daniels, telling him he was useless, telling him to quit now because he was never going to make it as a pro and all he would ever be in the wrestling industry is a wannbe.
Something changed in Daniels at that moment. He grabbed the guy, just a few years older than him, and beat him. Not pulling any punches, Daniels continued to punch and scrape and scratch the guy who was now on the floor until he was pulled off of him some 20 seconds later. The victim was on the floor, bloodied, crying, bruised and his ego deflated. Daniels was foaming at the mouth, itching for another shot at the bloodied body on the floor.
Removed from the ring, Daniels stepped outside of the building. His passion for wrestling burning brighter than it ever had done before. Over the next year, he stepped us his training. He gained mass, agility, speed and the intensity that had been missing for all those years. He made the card for a small show in a small Glasgow district called Maryhill against another of his wrestling school classmates. He wanted to make a statement, he was supposed to job out to this guy. He had no intention. He beat the guy with stiff forearms and knees until the ref had to wave the match off. With no mics or sound systems other than that for the music, he shouted to the crowd of 100 or so "I AM ALEXANDER DANIELS. I AM DONE WITH BEING SECOND BEST. THIS IS MY PURPOSE."
From there, wrestling fans acrossed the UK clamoured for Daniels to be on their local shows. He mellowed his overly aggresive style but maintaned the intensity and it it made him a well known name on the UK circuit. While continuing to follow his wrestling dream, Alexander also studied for a Bachelor of Science in Business Degree through The Open University. As well as being an excellent in ring performer, Daniels also performs to a very high level in all manners of business matters.
Now, at 29, he's out to prove to Action Wrestling what he proved in the UK wrestling scene for the last 10 years. The Purpose? To prove that all you need is one chance and you can do great things.
