Hello everyone o/
I'm a huge music guy. I use it to express myself and I love hearing about other's tastes. So forgive me if this topic has already been brought up but I'm really curious about what everyone here likes. Metal heads? Country lovers? Let's hear it!
Feel free to chime in however you want, but here's some basic stuff to get started:
Favorite genre: Favorite band/artist: Favorite song: How you discovered said band/artist:
I'll kick this off.
Favorite genre: Metal
Favorite band/artist: Skillet
Favorite song: Monster - Skillet
How I discovered them: Funny enough, I found them through WWE. Hell in a Cell 2009 used Monster as the theme song. Royal Rumble 2010 used Hero as its theme. I didn't watch those shows at the time since I couldn't afford PPV, but playing Smackdown vs Raw 2010, I would sit on the title screen for hours listening to the short samples of those two songs as they transitioned (Can we talk about how fire that game's soundtrack was?). Until finally I went to YouTube and looked at more of their music. I've been a huge fan ever since. Imagine my excitement while watching Battleground 2016 when Feel Invincible was the theme. Or when they used Brave for the Bruno Sammartino tribute video.
That's all I got. Your turn. Go!

Favorite genre: Classical Jazz Fusion Mega Metgal Max dubstep Favorite band/artist: Vengaboys Favorite song: CaramellDansen How you discovered said band/artist: Once upon a time, there was a bus. A vengabus. It was coming. Everyone was jumping. From New York to San Francisco, it was an inter city disco. The wheels of steel were turning, the traffic lights were burning and if you like to party, get up and move your body.
Well it came to my city and I jumped on. It was epic.

Favorite genre: Don’t really have a favorite genre, it all depends on the mood I’m in at the time. Favorite band/artist: Guns N’ Roses Favorite song: Welcome To The Jungle How you discovered said band/artist: A local radio station had a show called Friday Night Rock Fight which featured a rock fight, song vs. song, each week. The winning song would continue onto the next week until it lost. At the time Metallica’s Master of Puppets was the longest reigning champion and Guns N’ Roses Welcome To The Jungle was the challenger. Both bands weren’t getting much airplay on the local radio at the time and Guns N’Roses just barely dethroned Metallica.

I’m cheating a bit, but here goes...
Favorite genre: Punk and Folk (but I love at least a little bit of almost everything)
Favorite band/artist: Against Me!, Those Darlins, Rock Paper Dynamite, Thelma and the Sleaze
Favorite song: Cavalier Eternal (AM!), Screws Get Loose (TD), Bird Dog (RPD), Respect (TatS)
How you discovered said band/artist: AM! was introduced to me when they had only released a few small label records. Loved the rawness of their punk sound. TD was on a listening station at an independent record store, and less than 4 seconds into the first track, I was in love. RPD’s bass player was a buddy of mine, and they were FUCKING INCREDIBLE live. TatS was endorsed by the lead of TD in an interview, and I was blown away when I heard them and then saw them live.

Favorite genre: drum & bass/metalcore
Favorite band/artist: chase & status/the devil wears prada
Favorite song: end credits/HTML rulez d00d
How you discovered said band/artist: My parents kicked me out of the house when I was 16 so I went to live with my friend at his moms house. We would stay up really late smoking weed, taking painkillers, playing video games, and scouring the web for new music. We came across all sorts of weird stuff on MySpace but these were the jams. These two bands helped me through particularly tough times in my life so they’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

Anyone have some favorite wrestling themes? Themes you like enough to throw into a playlist with the rest of your “normal” music? Personally, I have Ciampa, Edge, and RVD’s theme in my playlist. Aelister Black’s is also up there in terms of my favorites. Oh, and I still have a version of Drew McIntyre’s “Broken Dreams” theme.
What about y’all?
