What an awesome two weeks I've had so far in Action Wrestling. First, I was able to pull off a surprising and shocking win over a UCI Champion Anton Chase after one hell of a battle. Every single person I saw backstage before I walked out was staring down at the floor. They all thought I was a goner, a nobody who was going to lose and then hit the bricks. The boys have all seen people like that come in and out of Action Wrestling more times than they care to remember. It's how the business works and I don't blame them one single bit for not having faith in me. I probably wouldn't have had faith in myself either if the shoe was on the other foot.
But I went out there and gave Anton everything I had. I threw everything at him and he took it all without even blinking. He was a tough fight for me, a guy that not only kicked my ass all over the ring, but he made me up my game and try everything I could to win. Thankfully, I was able to pull off a victory, but it was so very hard fought and tough that I wasn't sure if I was up for this kind of action. Who knew the "Action" in Action Wrestling was so serious? I thought it was going to be a fun little place to do my own thing, but I found out the hard way with fists to my face, that people are as serious here as they are anywhere else. Hell, they're even more serious about things here and I love it.
After my match with Anton who still left bruises on my ribs, I faced off against Rose, a woman who was no slouch in the ring. The aggressive Amazonian damn near took my head off with some of her offense. She didn't back down and when I threw a kick to her, she smirked at me. Smirked. Imagine you're facing down someone just as intimidating as Rose and you see that person take one of your best shots with a smile. Not only was she intimidating but she was the toughest woman I've ever faced in my life. She flung me around like I was a rag doll and she didn't stop. If it weren't for the fact that I was able to capitalize momentarily to pull off a victory, I'm sure that the end of that match would have finished quite differently. Just like Anton, I respect her fight and I know that in the future, I may not be as lucky as I was last week.
But now things are heating up around myself and the 201 division. I have a match this coming week against two people. TWO! While I don't know either of them very well, I was able to head out to the interwebs and find some of their matches online. That's one of the best things about YouTube! Rita Stevens is a little spitfire, kicking ass all around the United States and she shows no signs of slowing down. She calls herself an adrenaline junkie and I can see why. She definitely doesn't know the word "quit" and I'm sure she will be tough as nails and a real firecracker in the ring. I respect her and quite frankly, fear her a little too.
Then there's Super Spicy Jr. a dude that I've had my eye on since I joined Action Wrestling. He's a superstar that has wrestled around the world. I admire his dedication and his athleticism. While we will be on opposite sides of the ring, I really want to see what can happen if we both were to work together in the future. I could easily see us both spending some time in the tag team division and doing some amazing things. But then again, Spicy could very well decide that he likes things better on his own and who would blame him? He's already a star in Action Wrestling and I know he'll be incredible resilient in our match.
So best of luck to you both. I'll be ready to fight!
