Revolution Two is nearing. The Holo is ready. Time to speak before I fight.
L Verez: Earthlings like to take the New Year to make resolutions for themselves. If that’s the case, then 2019 will be the year the Guardians break through the Action Wrestling barriers. This will be the year that L Verez becomes champion, and this will be the year that I silence everyone. I already defeated Dark Tiger. The next person I’m up against is Rose, who I’ve defeated once before. My one obstacle to the finals of the tournament is one I’ve already surpassed once. The higher ups may as well ask me to sing the alphabet.
I brought up before that Rose has a lot of potential, and that statement remains true. The only thing stopping her is herself. She could be great if she put in the effort to do so, but she lets her guard down. She doesn’t want this like I do. She doesn’t crave success like I do. At the rate she’s going, she’ll never have what it takes to be a champion. She just doesn’t take her career seriously enough. Why else has she been stuck in this same title hunt for so long? I may not have won a title yet, but I’ve proven myself enough to make it into the main event scene, and for good reason. I work, I fight, I do everything I can to succeed. Rose puts in just enough effort to keep her foot in the door. She doesn’t have the drive to be champion. She doesn’t have the vigor to break through barriers and become the face of any division.
So, after I defeat her, and make it into the finals, I will either be facing Lisa Foster or Bishop. Lisa is another one that has a lot of potential to be great, but her leave of absence really seemed to sever her kinetic rise. She’s been dealing with a thorn on her side in the form of Karlie Nash. A thorn I once had in my side as well. Karlie has really tried to cement her legacy, and she wants to add Lisa’s name to her victim list. I’m unsure if that will happen, but Lisa will make the same victim list that Karlie has made it into multiple times. She did defeat the newcomer Ace Dillinger, but defeating a man that doesn’t know whether he should be an artist or an athlete isn’t really that much of a feat. She could’ve been the first female US champion at one point, but she let it slip past her. I can’t judge her too hard, as I’ve dealt with that myself. We’re on a similar path. The main difference is that I never quit. I’ve had my setbacks, and I’ve had to recover, but I never hung up my boots and went home. I don’t leave my career behind for a vacation.
I may not have become champion yet, but I’ve faced some of the best Action Wrestling have to offer, and I’ve put them to their limits. I’ve even defeated the inaugural World Champion, Roy Speede. Can Lisa Foster say the same? Can anyone else in this tournament say the same? I know Bishop surely can’t. His biggest victories were against Alex Richards and Gravedigger, one man that was at his lowest and another that went out of retirement for Evolution, and who has been recognized more for his commentary than his wrestling career. Who else did he defeat to win the Television Title? Chase Jackson? A man that’s amounted to nothing in Action Wrestling? Hannibal Hamilton? A man that left as soon as he arrived? Well, if he surpasses Lisa Foster, he’ll have to go through me if he wants that title one more time. There’s a reason why he hasn’t won anything beyond the Television Championship.
Does anyone remember the random World Title shot he was given against Wade Moor? Does anyone remember how well that went? Wade wasn’t even putting in his full effort in that match and you could tell. Bishop was way out of his element. As soon as a real competitor goes up against Bishop, he’s proven to be lackluster. I’ve done it, Kennedy Matthews has done, and so have countless others. Karlie must’ve given up last week, because even she is worth more than Bishop. If Foster somehow isn’t able to prove how subpar Bishop is, then I will, just like I have before. I have this tournament in the palm of my hands, and soon, I’ll have the Television Title in my hands as well. I’ll take this division and elevate it higher than ever before. I want to face the best, the fastest, the strongest, and the smartest. I want to have classic matches with competitors that strive to be the best, just as I do. Once I take down Rose, and then either Bishop or Foster, that’s what I aim to do.

When I returned to Damian’s house, Zima was not the person I expected to see.
L Verez: Galactic Women’s Wrestling?
Zima’Ion: Yes. I just signed the contract.
L Verez: Please be safe.
Zima’Ion: I can handle myself, L. I’m going to prove that to you. That’s why I’m doing this.
L Verez: I just don’t want anything to happen to you. I’ve already almost lost you before.
Zima’Ion: You know my immune system has massively improved compared to how it was when I was in danger before. I’m not a damsel.
L Verez: Your system has also proven to be unstable--
Zima’Ion: Yes, at first, but that was months ago. I’m going to be a competitor, and that’s final. You can’t change my mind.
She storms through the door, and slams it shut. Damian, awkwardly sitting in the next room, gives me a regretful look. I hate where my life has gone.
