This entry starts in the backstage with Chris Eno and Charlotte, his wrestling buddy. Charlotte wears casual as usual. He still wears his wrestling attire and is wrapped with bandages to hold some ice pack on his neck and shoulders. He currently holds another bag for his leg used for his wife's finisher. While they're waiting for Chris's paycheck, they have a conversation about his match. It went great for them. Chris has his first win while Charlotte learned a thing or two from it.
Suddenly, two personnel approach them possibly for a favor. “Excuse me, Chris Eno. Do you have a minute?” Chris Eno notices as he put their discussion in halt. “Yes? Can I help you?”
“I’m Jenna Bauer, a backstage interviewer for Action Wrestling." Charlotte interrupts them, “You’re a backstage interviewer?”
“Y-yes,” Jenna replies. Charlotte begins to fix her hair. She thinks that she better not screw it up because this is her big moment on television. Chris shakes his head, “You need to excuse my friend, Charlotte.” "Oh....", the interviewer responds. They wait for Charlotte saying, “I’m ready.”
The cameraman starts to record his camera to start the backstage interview.
“Hello, AW Fans. We’re here in the backstage to meet the winner of the triple threat match against Dark Tiger and Evander Cage. Here is Chris Eno. We also have Charlotte in the interview. How is going?” Both Chris and Charlotte wave at the camera.
Jenna then starts to interview Chris. “Chris. First and foremost, congratulations on your first win at Action Wrestling. Would you like to comment on it?”
“Where to start? If you see the ending of our match, Tiger and Cage were both surprised at me hitting with my wife’s finisher out of nowhere. I’m not going to lie. I’m just surprised either. I got rusty back when I started to train for my debut. I understand why I lost back my first match at Action Wrestling. But I cannot comprehend the fact that I won this night’s bout.”
“Hey, quit being modest. I know you love to win matches,” Charlotte responds with a rebuttal. Chris quickly dismisses it while the interviewer laughs at both of them. Jenna asked, “By the way, we’re wondering why you bring your friend in the ringside.”
Charlotte quickly covers Chris’s mouth. “I’m his wrestling buddy. We always stick together.” Charlotte quickly adds, “Plus, I get free front row seat to his matches.” Chris quickly gets a hold of Charlotte’s covering hand and pushes towards her. He then shakes his heads and sighs, “Yeah, what she said.”
Jenna begins to ask about his training. “Also we have noticed that you have shown a different in-ring style at AW. Can you give a little bit of background about that?” Chris replies, “Well, a friend of mine named Black Onyx came up with an in-ring style for me. She taught me some pointers on submissions and powerful strikes. She also gave me some of the exercises that would help to enhance my wrestling style. Overall, I like the style that they’ve taught me.”
Jenna finally asks one question for Chris, “Now that you’ve won your match at AW, what is next goal in AW?”
Chris pauses for a while. Never in his mind that it across to this question. “I don't know. I mean there’s some title opportunities and tournaments going on in AW. All I just wanted is to have an epic fight.”
Jenna nods, “Thank you, Chris and Charlotte for your time.” Chris replies, “It’s a pleasure.” The cameraman stops recording to end the interview. Chris then resumes their conversation while waiting to get his paycheck.
Chris finally arrives at his home from England. Chris shouts, “I’m home.” “Welcome home, Chris.” Sakuya comes out from the kitchen. She hugs her husband. Chris hugs her back then kisses his wife on her forehead. They proceed to the living room giving Chris a rest.
“Saw your match. Can’t believe you’ve won,” Sakuya says to Chris. “Well, I can’t believe it, either. But, it was your finisher that gave me victory so…” Sakuya quickly refuses to take credit, “Stop being modest.” Chris chuckles at his wife, “So anything happened while I’m gone?”
“We got a mail from my parents. They asked us to go Hokkaido for the holidays. They even gave us plane tickets,” Sakuya answers.
Chris asks for confirmation, “Really? So we’re going to spend the holidays in Japan?” Sakuya answers, “Yes!”
“Got it.” Chris then looks at an empty jar. He then comes up with an idea. “Anything else, Sakuya?”
“Well…. that’s all,” Sakuya responds. Chris nods. They both go on with their everyday routine.
Later at night, Sakuya goes to sleep. Chris then goes downstairs and finds a tape and a marker. He grabs a jar that he gazed on before. He puts a small tape on it and marks, “FOR SAKUYA’S DREAM.” He then puts the tape and marker away. He unravels his paycheck from his pocket. He puts some on it. He finally puts his paycheck back on his pocket then finds a hiding place of his special jar.
One day, Douglas takes Chris out on the shooting range. Chris is not pleased. He begins to baffle him taking to this place.
Chris asks, “This is the reward you’re giving to me? A trip to the shooting range?” Douglas answers, “Not just that, this.”
Douglas gives a wrapped gift to Chris. And it reveals a sniper rifle. “Really?” says Chris not amazed. “What’s wrong with it?” asked Douglas.
“Why would I need a rifle?”
Douglas explains, “One, you and Sakuya need protection. And two, a man’s gonna learn how to use a rifle.”
“Why?”
“You gotta need a rifle to hunt for some food and to protect from intruders,” Douglas answers.
Chris knows that it is an illogical explanation. He responses, “Really? Is that an excuse for me to give a rifle? And not to mention, this is like sniper rifle you gave to me. Like how would a sniper rifle protect me from “foreign intruders”?”
“I consider it as a beginner’s rifle. You’ll love it for sure.”
“I don’t know,” Chris doubts about it. “I mean, many people didn’t like the fact that I own a rifle. I haven’t legally registered to own one.”
Douglas assures, “Don’t worry. I register it with your name on it.” Chris’s eye widens out in shock, “You what?! How do you even manage to do that?!”
“I got connections with Jeffrey. Problem solved,” Douglas response with confidence.
Chris comes with a rebuttal, “Without my consent?! I mean, why would I want a rifle if I don’t even need it?”
Douglas replies, “I already answer that to you. Anyway, we’re here at the shooting range. I’m going to teach you the basics of handling a rifle.” Chris is not sure if this could end well. But Douglas assures, “Come on. It will be fun.” Chris looks at Douglas’s eye in doubt and sighs. “Alright, let’s get this over it.”
Then they proceed with Douglas teaching the basics of using a rifle. Chris is confused. Is he supposed to treat this as a recreational sport? Chris thinks, “Sakuya is not going to like this.”
However, something’s come up with Chris’s mind. He proceeds to ask Douglas, “Say, Douglas, I want you to ask.” Douglas is all ears. “I’ve been thinking. I might limit my training time in Household Dungeon to once a week.”
Douglas is baffled, “I don’t understand. You just won one match. You’re like overconfident or something?”
Chris denies it, “It’s just that, I want to focus more on getting a real job. I want to earn some money just like ordinary people do. I don’t want to rely only on Action Wrestling as a source of income. I want to earn more money for Sakuya.”
Douglas sees that Chris is serious on this matter. But he asks one thing, “So what are you going to tell Action Wrestling? Your coach trainers?”
“I already contacted Action Wrestling. They agreed that I would work monthly. However, I haven’t told Coach Tino and others yet.”
“Well, you should tell them. Also if this would lessen your load a bit, I worked at the factory, need some workers there. I could inform my boss if you’re interested.”
Chris is glad about this, “Sweet! You’re a lifesaver, Douglas.”
“Of course. What friends are for?”
“Now there’s one thing I like to ask.”
“What?”
“How would I explain this to Sakuya?” He brings up a rifle that Douglas gave. In the end, they both pack up ready to leave for home. The entry ends here.
