Most of us are or people have been at one point a "smark", someone who knows about insider stuff going on and doesn't just watch the shows at face value. Do you think that has damaged your enjoyment of wrestling?

Fucking A right it does. Shit we all knew it was fake back in the day but goddamn at least most of it was believable and not so damn out there. Vince is on an acid trip with some of todayβs stuff hence me not watching and what I would watch is ruined by complete crap, like Lesnar. Skit of that coulda been a lot better and thatβs just one thereβs more.

One of the major problems I have is folks always see the positive, and don't have the guts to say anything negative. Evolution wasn't that great and neither was Crown Jewel, raw is constantly crap and Smackdown is hit or miss most, yet most reviews I see are mostly positive

Most wrestling fans are incredibly negative about modern day WWE and are constantly criticising the product.

It's pretty much ruined it for me. It's this bizarre cycle. I don't think the product is entertaining because I'm always reading spoilers/insider stuff. But then I read spoilers/insider stuff because I don't think the product is entertaining. I have some favorites I keep up with, sure. But, that's basically it.

It used to kill the enjoyment for me, but then I decided to stay away from insider/spoiler stuff. I had no idea the Hardyβs were going to be at WM when they returned and I literally jumped out of my fucking chair when their music hit.

No, the product being crappy and overproduced damaged my view of the product.

My view on current product is all over the place, but mainly because a lot of my friends can't separate the fact that I have a stance on why and how they do things to make money, and what I actually think of the product.
My opinion on the television shows: They suck. WWE has the greatest roster they'll ever have, but they don't book pro wrestling, they don't care about what is over or not, the brand comes first, and they do bare minimum to stack rolls of cash, and a lot of people have low expectations to enjoy WWE which in its self sucks because you should demand bigger and better from WWE.
My business stance/opinion on WWE: They got you marks and smarks right where they want you, the storylines are pretty/usually easy to understand and they don't have to do to much to make stacks of cash from their television fees and anything over 2.0 million people watching on Mon and Tues nights is a bonus.
