Still feel we need something to help motivate us to do our best here... I think it's too easy to fall behind on the OTW and OTM which seems to be, so I think we should shoot some alternative ideas around.
I still say a power ranking for each title would be interesting.
Who's next?

Rankings are easy to do fairly if anyone wanted to do them. I did for like a month way back when. As long as you base your ranking logic completely off what happens on show and not roleplaying or any personal preferences, you're good.

Before reading this post, I added a 201 & Fun rankings to everyone's favorite magazine solely devoted to Action Wrestling, F US Weekly. I point out that they are not official and are only the opinion of F US Weekly staff. I could expand it to an entire rankings section every week. I can be fair with the rankings. I'm thinking Top 5 and a Top 5 201 & Fun. I havent been here long enough to know if there is enough of a true tag division to do a top 5 or maybe just a top 3. Let me know your thoughts.

I'd prefer overall rankings instead of ranks for each belt, just because I feel it could cause some people who are ranked to go "Hey, I'm ranked in the top 5 for this belt, where's my shot?" kinda thing.

Yeah, if you dove into fuller rankings in a "kayfabe official" sense, I'd run somewhere between 10-25 depending on and make it like WWE's old P25 where you list up and down trends and it's like...for example you could say #BeachKrew are #1 on this week's list after "Making the loudest of statements when they revealed themselves to be the attackers that have loomed over the federation in recent weeks." or some shit. You know how it be.

And they would probably stay at the top of the ranking storyline wise, not based on what they do week to week.

If there's one top spot that is pretty clear and then someone shakes THAT person, they move up. If a title holder loses to a challenger in like a non-title on a Clash in leadup to the belt being on the line, you'd see shift there too. I know there's other examples, but yeah.

I added a Power Ranking section to F US Weekly. I did a top 15 based on results from shows from 10.1.18-11.5.18. The criteria the staff at FUSW used was win/loss record, strength of schedule, title wins/defenses, and impact wins. Example: wrestler A has one win in the last month, but that win was against a world champion. Wrestler B has 3 wins in tat same period of time, but each win is against a new guy who doesnt show. It is likely that Wrestler A will be ranked higher than wrestler B. another scenario: Wrestler A has 1 win and four losses. 3 of the losses were title matches, the other loss was a tag team, and the win was at a PPV. Wrestler has has 3 wins and 1 loss. The wins were all against filler talent and they have no PPV appearance. Wrestler A is likely to be ranked higherthan Wresler B.
Just wanted to give some insight as to the thought process. I expect there to be some disagreement, that's waht polls are for.

I disagree. #FightSmart has been around for months and there's been only 3 or 4 times when their members would have been ranked high. Even the top people in the fed go up and down. Plus we don't book everyone every week, especially the people who would be higher up on the rankings typically so the list should constantly fluctuate.

One thing I saw that worked incredibly well a few years back was that, basically, you win a match, you bump up to exactly the spot of the guy you pinned, and everyone below you shifts down one spot- so you win, you climb. You lose, you don't plummet unless the guys above you all lose too. But instead of being so entrenched in storylines as well as actual performances, it shows who's actually kicking ass every week.
So let's say the ranking looks like this one week.
Speede Deruty Wade Spencer TFK SJW Ryan Verez
(Using the tournament results...) it becomes:
