The following is a letter addressed and published to the Action Wrestling Website.
I don't do this for titles. Haven't for a while now.
For years, I have been in this business strictly for the thrills. Sure, a title opportunity has risen from time to time, and I've never been one to back down from a challenge. But win or lose, it's all been about respect.
And so I answered a call. I competed against two mildly skilled talents and came out your new 201 and Fun Champion. Am I happy to hold championship gold in Action Wrestling? Certainly. The bump in the check is nice, plus I got a whole division scratching to get at me. Always told people how much I love competition.
So this week, I had every intention of defending my newly won crown. Figured Vas Knight would invoke his rematch, or another 201 duder would slide up to challenge me. But for all the brilliance on Tort and Digger's plates, they let Stasiak book a 6 Man Elimination Tag Match. We have the division to do this and a title match, but naw. Gah, what a letdown.
What to say to Vas that I didn't say before Carnage… you were nothing, you are nothing, and until you prove yourself, you will always be nothing. And let's be honest; the only thing you proved at Carnage is that you can't hang with real talent.
Koji, I respect what you threw down at Carnage. You spoke not at all, but put up a hell of a fight. In the end, you came up short. But you got a lot of talent, my friend. I look forward to beating y… meeting. You. Again at Clash.
Rod Cage has the unfortunate coupling to not only had a lackluster run thus far, but also teams up with two men I already kicked to the curb. Double whammy. Tell you what, bud. You eliminate one person from my team in this match, I will give you first shot at my title next week. Give you the kind of bump everyone in this division needs.
As far as the fellas on my team are concerned; I have no worries coming out on top. Teddy won his match against Sickwa… nope, not even gonna humor that one. Point is, he beat an established man. And as far as Carlos Lopez is concerned… well, we can always keep him in the corner while myself and Geise dominate the match.
I guess all I really have left to say at this point, fellas, is good luck. It will be nice to share the spotlight for a moment with people who have some real talent. And also, of course, people who aren't Teddy Geise. Later.
