[The following segments contains scene that were not included in main entry. It was used as a context for the main entry but decided to cut it to make it shorter and simple. The link of his main entry is right here]
Chris is in the gym training for the upcoming match. In this training montage, Chris is doing some weightlifting using some weights suitable for him. Later, he works his punches and kicks using a punching bag. Later, he is trained by coach Tino with focus mitts equipped. After that, Chris puts his training to test in the ring. After the training, Charlotte wants to ask Coach Tino.
CHARLOTTE: “So Coach, how’s Chris?”
COACH TINO: “He’s fine. He is making a good progress.”
CHARLOTTE: “Does he have a chance to win his upcoming match?”
COACH TINO: “All I could say is that he has enough skill to do well in the ring.”
The clip cuts to a scene, where Chris and a luchador from earlier, Viento Feunte hold a top rope as Coach Tino is outside of the ring.
COACH TINO: “Watch as Feunte perform on the top rope.”
The luchador bounces on the top rope and performs a dive roll with grace.
COACH TINO: “You think you could do that?”
Chris nods and proceeds. He bounces to the ropes and just like last time, his foot slips off sending his falling to the mat. Charlotte, Coach Tino and Viento Feunte rush to check on him. It turns out that it’s just not-so-serious bump.
CHRIS: “What did I do wrong?”
Both Coach Tino and the luchador look at one another.
VIENTO FEUNTE: “We need to do something about this.”
COACH TINO (sighing): “Later. I got something in my mind.”
Later, it proceeds to another session where Chris is on the top turnbuckle with a dummy on the mat.
COACH TINO: “Okay, can you try to perform an aerial move?”
Chris gives the coach a thumbs up as he sets up for a high-flying maneuver. He then executes a backflip then results - a decent Shooting Star Press. Coach Tino is impressed in response.
COACH TINO: “Good work, you have executed well.”
CHRIS: “Thanks, I want to master this move, after all.”
COACH TINO: “What for? For your debut match?”
CHRIS: “Something else. (He looks at the top rope.) I was wondering if I could perform it on the top rope.”
COACH TINO (shakes his head): “I don’t think that’s a good idea. Remember that you have failed to perform on the top move. Plus, the Shooting Star Press is known for its danger. It could cause neck injury if you’re not careful.”
CHRIS (sighs): Maybe one day.
The video cuts in to this scene where Chris is holding a notepad and goes brainstorming about something in his mind.
DOUGLAS: “Hey, Stomach Pill. What’s with that notebook?”
CHRIS: “Oh hey, Douglas. I am just conceptualizing about my debut promo so that me and Charlotte would make it as a video and probably hope to feature it on the upcoming show.”
DOUGLAS (shakes his head and sighs): “Listen, Chris. I hate to tell you but…. It would probably the best if you don’t make that ‘debut promo’.”
CHRIS (is confused): “Why? Is there something wrong about it?”
DOUGLAS: “It’s just that…. Let me get real to you. (He whispers). You suck…”
CHRIS: “What do you mean I suck?”
DOUGLAS: “You just botched two times, you can’t even use your signature without any difficulty….. Like I said, you’ll get squashed for sure. I’m trying to be a friend who doesn’t want to get humiliated more in live television.”
CHRIS: “Oh” (He becomes devastated in the words from his old buddy.)
DOUGLAS (pats on Chris’s shoulders): “Don’t play yourself”
Douglas leaves Chris looking down glum as he puts the notepad away.
