Character Name: Frank Patrick Venable
Nickname: FPV, "Frank the Tank", "Mr. Headshot", "King of the Deathmatch", "Iron Soul FPV", "The Man Made God"
Hometown: New Orleans, Louisiana (born in Atlanta, Georgia)
Height: 5' 11''
Weight: 255 lbs
Alignment: Face
In-Ring Style: Formerly a Flashy Brawler, injuries have forced FPV to rearrange his style to that of a technical powerhouse with a love of suplexes and throws.
Bio: Arguably one of the biggest names to come out of the WCF in the second half of it's existence, Frank Venable has done it all. Holding an impressive nine titles during his time there, the man known as FPV has solidified himself as one of the toughest brawlers in wrestling today. After his final exit from the Dub in 2018, Frank Venable turned his attention to business, franchising his coffee shop The People's Grounds around the world, making him a millionaire in the process. Though the money has done him well, it would appear that Venable has once again set his sights on championship gold, and has made his long awaited debut in AW to satiate that need.
After an impressive run in late 2019 and early 2020 where Frank racked up a whopping three World Title reigns, things seemingly fell apart for Venable as his paramour Ramon left him very acrimoniously due to his obsession with the World Title, leading to a shock ending to his third reign after only one week to Alex Richards. After some floundering, Frank soon became locked into a blood feud with one of the most terrifying men to ever wrestle in AW, James Nightingale, a blood feud that Frank would be defeated in. Though he almost lost everything, including his own brother Vic Venable in the struggles against Nightingale, it did bring Ramon back to Frank as the two reconciled publicly on an episode of Clash leading up to the Havoc Rumble.
At the Rumble itself, Frank would come out with an impressive third place showing, earning him a spot in the Glory tournament that year. It was not to be, though, as he ran the ire of future World Champion Jill Park. Another unsuccessful feud would follow, one with dire consequences for Frank as Jill viciously destroyed his ankle with an ankle lock, putting him on the shelf for what was expected to only be a few months, but eventually stretched out to over a year.
Frank not only returned from injury looking better than ever, but made a vow to win every title he was eligible for to become Action Wrestlingโs first ever Mr. Every Title. However, circumstances that have never fully come to light forced FPV to close the Action Wrestling chapter of his career prematurely. Now making his DPW debut as part of the OGs, the FPV of the past has been replaced by a more carefree, yet still deadly warrior who has no problem with clocking someone with a headshot.
Attire: A beefcake with muscles for days. Wrestles in Long red and white tights and white elbow pads, when not in the ring, he likes to wear either a red leather jacket with white denim jeans, or a comfy hoodie of some kind during more casual moments, as well as a red shirt for accent. He also wears this jacket to the ring, taking it off before the match start. His hair is slightly longer then before and a tad bit bleached. Has two circular scars on his wrists, as a result of his Crucifixion Match against Nathan von Liebert many years ago.
Theme song: "Beat It" by Michael Jackson
Pic Base: Kenny Omega
Entrance:
The lights dim all around the arena, as the memorable gong intro to "Beat It" begins playing, propmting a large portion of the audience to go nuts in anticipation. Indeed, as the signature guitar line kicks in, Frank Patrick Venable emerges from the curtain, his red and white wrestling attire punctuated by a red leather jacket ala the King of Pop himself. Frank's face is a wide grin as he makes his way to the ring, almost as though looking forward to what fun he and his opponnent tonight can get up to. With no effort at all, Frank slides into the ring smooth as butter before going to each corner of the ring, hot dogging and grandstanding as he climbs his way to each top rope.
