Character Name: Casey Holliday
Nickname:
Hometown: Bellevue, Washington
Height: 5’5
Weight: 125
Alignment: Face
In-Ring Style: Technical with a mix of aerial. Also has a tendency to cheat given the opportunity
Bio: Casey's father and grandfather were both wrestlers, so she wanted to become one herself. Her father ran a wrestling school in Seattle and initially he was reluctant to let her become part of the business herself, but he eventually relented and she started training at the age of 16. Casey was quite stubborn, wanting to go right to the mainstream without paying dues in the Independent scene first. Four years later, her father was a victim of an unfortunate assault that necessitated hip replacement surgery and the resulting medical bills put his school in financial jeopardy. Casey would get her first taste of the mainstream business when she took part in Supreme Championship Wrestling's End of the Year Open Battle Royal on New Year's Eve 2015, with a $250,000 prize at stake. Trying to win the money for her father, Casey finished 5th in a field of 30 wrestlers despite her inexperience. While she didn't win the money, her performance was enough to get her a full-time contract with SCW.
SCW was a tumultuous, up and down rollercoaster for Casey. While she managed to secure two short-lived title runs and pay off her dad's medical bills eventually, she quickly realized that the business wasn't as easy as she thought it would be and ultimately, the pressures of being a rookie at her tender age got to her and with time, the sweet, humble girl that was known for fighting for her father allowed the business to consume her and she began to burn her bridges, from her fellow peers in the locker room, to her long time friends, and even her own father, who she is currently not on speaking terms with after her behavior got her kicked out of home. This action only made things worse as the pressures of the spotlight caused her to stress out and often have mood swings and temper tantrums, which ultimately led her to leave the company with a Trios tournament win and two short title reigns under her belt.
Things would turn around somewhat quick for her though, being signed to a talent agency known as Silverstone International. This provided an immediate boost for her, both financially, via brand and endorsement deals, and psychologically, with her self-esteem returning in the form of narcissistic arrogance and this would lead her to signing with UCI, where she hit the ground running and took the fed by storm. In only her second match, she became the UCI Rising Stars Champion and she would go on to be the most successful Rising Stars Champion ever… leading her to take a serious gamble at Beyond by trading in the championship for a spot in the Golden Ticket match. Said gamble paid off in a huge way when Casey WON the Golden Ticket match giving her an opportunity to cash in for a UCI World Championship match whenever she liked. Casey then continued her torrid pace, winning the Intercontinental Championship from Andre Holmes before an assault by Bonnie Blue and #beachkrew put her out of action and led to her disappearance.
Casey resurfaced in Global Championship Wrestling, and she would continue her prodigal success, winning the GCW Heritage Championship at the end of 2017 and holding it for five months before she lost the title in a submission match at Resurrection. This loss was her breaking point as most of her previous corporate sponsors decided to cut ties with her. Now? Casey is taking revenge against the world. She has embraced the darkness within her and has adopted a scorched earth policy. Now? She’s in Action Wrestling… ready to take care of some unfinished business!
