BIO
Little is know of Happenstance beyond the mask. What is known is provided by his ever-talkative manager (listed below). Happenstance was found at the side of the road. Lonely, depressed, and with little to his name but the pants that were (fortunately) remaining around his waist, his founder and future manager invited him to join his illustrious company. A company so illustrious that it had just started a month before this moment in time and has found as little growth as possible to be defined as "growth" at all. This growth was enough to convince investors of Happenstance's potential as a "star", and with many investors kept anonymous per the agreements, Jethro Journey Inc. became enthralled in the entertainment industry. With many names (purportedly) lined-up to sign on, the company's founder has put nearly its entire assets into getting Happenstance ring ready. Those assets were...a bust. But at least they have a building! With water! And power! Occasionally! Yeah, they couldn't save Happenstance's look, but the hope is that if it worked in Mexico, it'll work in America. What does Happenstance think about all of this? Oh, Happenstance doesn't think. Or speak. He does breathe, that can be confirmed. Nah, his manager does all the talking, and trust me, he does enough talking for the both of them.

ENTRANCE
The lights shut-off in the arena. A haunting red and blue series of lights pinpoints the center of the stage as Cornelius Jethro comes running out. An individual spotlight of white shines on him to the left of the original lights. His cane in hand, he adjusts his suit briefly before raising his mic.

Cornelius Jethro: Plebeians and pedestrians! Observers and onlookers! Jethro Journey Incorporated is proud to present to Discovery Pro Wrestling. HAILING!......from Beyond Reality--WEIGHING!.......at 197 lbs. He is our star. He is YOUR future. It's...merely...HAPPENSTANCE!
His spotlight cuts out, leaving the red and blue lights from earlier.
WE'RE RUNNIN WITH THE SHADOWS OF THE NIGHT
SO BABY TAKE MY HAND IT'LL BE ALRIGHT
SURRENDER ALL YOUR DREAMS TO ME TONIGHT
THEY'LL COME TRUE IN THE EEEEEND
Once the synth hits, a full-body suited man starts to rise from the stage from within the blue and red spotlights. Throughout the arena, various colors are thrown around willy nilly. The man in the full-body suit is kneeling down, engulfed in a black heavy blanket that seems to cover most of him. outright. Once the verse starts, the man looks around the arena. Once seemingly satisfied, he turns to Cornelius, who smiles widely. He nods once before "knighting" him with his cane. This coincides with the second chorus. Once the intro's words repeat, Happenstance throws off the blanket. He starts getting excited. He pumps his arms and hypes the crowd up. He high-fives fans along his way to the ring. Once he reaches it, he slides under the bottom rope, doing a front roll and kipping back onto his feet. He finds a turnbuckle and gets to the top, pointing out to the crowd with widened arms. Cornelius gets in behind him, presenting his client with that same wide smile.

SIGNATURE MOVES
Overcomer - Happenstance runs to an opponent, leaping over their head. Along the way, they use their right arm to wrap around their head. They come down with a Rick Rude style neckbreaker. This is often the set-up for his Full Phoenix finisher.
Breakneck - Happenstance is sent into a corner (or is already in one). He hops to the middle rope before vaulting himself back and over the opponent. While in mid-air, he swings down, catching his legs under his opponent's shoulders and forcing them backwards onto the mat in a variation of an O'Connor Roll.

Full Force Quit - Happenstance lifts his opponent from a reverse DDT position before slamming them back down by the back of the neck.
MAJOR FINISHER
Full Finalizer - As a modified Full Force Quit, Happenstance first lifts his opponent their legs are up on the top rope. He then falls back, making the impact of the Full Force Quit more high-angled and affecting the neck more.

MANAGERING STYLE
Cornelius loves to help his client whenever possible. He knows that his client isn't a fan of him interfering, and knows it may not look for any future investors if he paints a bad image of himself....however...if an opportunity is there and he'd be a fool not to take it then, I mean...who's to say if something happens and it's his fault?
BIO
Cornelius Jethro (birth name unknown) was born in Waverly, Iowa to a mom who left once custody was signed to his dad and a dad who was there too much. Living in a college town, there wasn't much for Cornelius to do beyond watch TV and see his dad come home late after celebrating too hard after the college's sports games. Cornelius watched a lot of TV. And movies. And embraced a lot of media. He saw through documentaries and through other fictional programs the potential for a brighter future. And mostly, the potential for a lot of money, enough to get him (and his dad, I guess) out of that beat-up town.
When he was 10, he was hustling his mom's old vinyls that they had never played and his mom had left behind for them. At 14 he started hustling his dad's porno mags. At 15 he stopped hustling his dad's porno mags and moved onto starting a full-time business: Future Media. It lasted three years and involved a lot of selling of DVDs and VHSs, most of which he got secondhand. When Cornelius turned 18, he got an injunction and was forced to close his business. He did not. He then got subpoenaed and Future Media was no more.
His dad wasn't too happy at all of the fees involved, specifically the fines ranging in the tens of thousands. Cornelius agreed to pay them himself, and after wasting away 4 years of his life working two jobs in Waverly, Cornelius had had enough. He cashed his last check and paid off his fines. He was going to make his dream a reality, even if it meant he had to leave his dad behind.
So he did.
When Cornelius was 24, he quit his jobs, took all the money he had saved, left everything else but his car to his dad, and drove said car as far west as he could. To his credit, he made it out of Iowa. Unfortunately Lincoln, NB wasn't too much better than Waverly, but according to his now totaled car, it was what he had to deal with. With whatever he had left, he changed his legal name to Cornelius Jethro and started working to make it out west. As he got more and more money (and another worse broken down car that somehow survived the whole trip) and more and more jobs, making his way across America and meeting more and more people through networking, before finally making it to Los Angeles.
After a few more years of establishing himself in a lot of inner circles as a kiss-ass looking for an opportunity and a cheap freeloader hoping for a chance, he managed to gain a reputation in the Hollywood scene as a form of entertainment. Cornelius had his in...but realized after a few bit roles that the money wasn't in being on camera...it was in the management. With a tear in his eye, he took his beat-up car and moved back to Waverly. He moved back in with his dad and for a few years, attended the college there on a fast-track for a business degree in management. He graduated, and decided to move out East, seeing the lucrative opportunities there where there weren't west. It was a pit-stop in Baltimore that led him to his first encounter with the man that would become Happenstance...
ATTIRE
Cornelius is usually seen in a series of cheaper suits. He has the top few buttons of the shirt unbuttoned and never wears a tie. He also carries with him a cheap cane that looks wooden, but if ever held, seems more akin to metal.
