Cipher stood in a dimly lit locker room, his muscles tense and his mind clouded with a whirlwind of emotions. The news of being thrust into a tag team match alongside Draugr, the very man who had orchestrated their kidnapping and torture, sent a chill down his spine. Every fiber of his being screamed with a primal urge to seek revenge, to unleash his pent-up fury upon his tormentor. Yet, beneath the surface, a more calculated and strategic side of Cipher wrestled for control.
As he laced up his boots, his thoughts raced with memories of the pain and suffering he endured at Draugr's hands. The searing agony of the restraints cutting into his flesh, the relentless onslaught of psychological torment designed to break his spirit. He looked at his hands, magically regenerated from the blood of the underside that coursed through his veins. But amidst the anguish, Cipher found a glimmer of clarity, a flicker of determination that refused to be extinguished.
With a deep breath, he pushed aside the tumultuous sea of emotions threatening to consume him. Instead, he focused his gaze on the present moment, on the task at hand. Draugr may have been the architect of their suffering, but Cipher refused to let him dictate the outcome of their match. This wasn't just about vengeance; it was about proving his resilience, about rising above the darkness that sought to engulf him.
For Cipher, this match was more than just a contest of strength and skill; it was a testament to his ability to overcome the darkest depths of despair and emerge stronger on the other side. And as he raised his hands in triumph, he knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, he would face them head-on, with unwavering resolve and unyielding determination.
He walked into an empty arena, no screaming fans drowning out the cacophony of doubts and fears that lingered in the recesses of his mind. No bright lights blinding him from the torment he had endured. Yet with each step he brought with him a surge of determination driving him forward with unwavering resolve.
It was just he, and his battleground, the Action Wrestling sixteen by sixteen ring. He started across the ring where Draugr would stand, a towering figure wreathed in shadows, a reminder of the darkness that emanated throughout his own soul. But he refused to be intimated. He refused to let fear dictate his actions.
As he prepared for the upcoming match, Cipher's focus sharpened to a razor's edge. Every moment leading up to the encounter was an opportunity to prepare himself mentally and physically for the challenge ahead. He knew that Draugr would stop at nothing to undermine him, to exploit any weakness he could find. But Cipher was determined to prove him wrong, to show the world that he was stronger than the sum of his past traumas.
With each passing moment, Cipher felt a sense of liberation wash over him, a feeling of catharsis as he embraced the impending confrontation with Draugr.
He would get his revenge.
He would prove his point.
He just needed to be patient.
Cedrone... Jonny Cedrone. A name that resonates with both admiration and anticipation. A man forged in the fires of competition, a relentless warrior whose every step in the ring is a testament to his dedication, skillset and his desire to constantly better himself. For the Betterment of himself if you will.
I've faced Cedrone before, felt the weight of his blows, the intensity of his spirit. He's no ordinary opponent. He's a force to be reckoned with, a relentless adversary who demands nothing less than my absolute best. Despite the fact that my partner and I don’t see eye to eye I promise you that I won't back down. I won't falter in the face of this challenge. I am a warrior of the ring, thriving on the thrill of battle. Cedrone may be formidable, but I am determined to prove that I am his equal, if not his better.
I will meet him head-on, match his strength with my own, devour his dexterity and conquer his confidence. In the heat of battle, there can be only one outcome – and that outcome will be my triumph. Cedrone may be a worthy opponent, but I am destined for greatness, and nothing will stand in my way.
He partners with Doc Holiday, another man who I’ve stood toe to toe with in my first encounter in Action wrestling. Meaningless battle royal in which I threw him over the top rope to become victorious. Yet what happened after that match. I went on to tag team greatness, and he to singles greatness.
What this means to me is that we both went on to better things, leaving the past behind and forging a path towards the future. A target for what’s to come. Holiday is a name clouded in contradictions. He refuses to yield to the tide of defeat, yet underneath the surface he weaves a tapestry of doubt and uncertainty, and travels a labyrinth of fears and insecurity.
Yet in this I see a mirror into my own soul. I see where I once was, and as I look within myself I see where he will end up. He is a beacon of resilience, and a testament to the indomitable human spirit. He will persevere his recent losses and come out the other side stronger than ever.
Just as Johnny and Doc team up reluctantly, so do Draugr and I. There could not be 4 men more distrusting of one another looking to do what we’re looking to do this coming week. But here we are, standing at the precipice of annihilation. 2 of us will emerge victorious even though none of us will truly be alive after this piece of business.
Exhilaration is the only destiny I seek.
