but given that it seems week after week after week despite some of my best writing in my promos (VES THANK YOU FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT) every week since the very beginning I have lost my matches and its become depressing to the point that I am hereby packing it in and hopping it! ...
sorry to anyone who will miss me but in essence I have had it! this last loss this week to Gerard was the death nail as far as I'm concerned.

I use the one suggested by gravedigger, that has worked for me, not that I'm good example since my character loses more than she wins, so my advise probably isn't the best, but I will say if I decided to quit everytime I lost a match, I would have been out of here by a long time ago, don't let losing discourage you.

This might sound harsh, but it isn’t my intention to seem mean.. so bear with me.
This hobby is supposed to be fun, but it isn’t fun to lose all the time, right? When you’re writing your best?
Here’s the thing; it isn’t your“ best”, it’s just what you’re used to. Action Wrestling is a bit of a different beast in that it has always has had this high bar when writing competitively. If you just wanna do do goofy things and have fun you can do that, but if you’re looking to be competitive and show your writing skills then you need to be open and willing to accept that there is room for improvement for everybody; even people like Gerry, Jill, and Downfall. If you’re looking for wins/being competitive then you need to consider “what can I do to improve” instead of “I’m not good enough”.
Trust me when I say a simple switch in mindset can greatly impact things.
