(Which is all she says. I wait... patiently... for a minute to see if she'll elaborate anymore. She doesn't.)
Ves: Not much of a talker, are you? Tell me about this enfatuation with Marylin Monroe then

not really an infatuation just something that popped into my head but you can agree she was hot in her time. I used to watch a lot of old movies when I was living with my grandparents in Detroit, and while her movies weren't necessary great she drew your attention, with those her natural curves. So what you you have any celebrity infatuations.

Ves: You know it's interesting. I don't think I'm the kind that gets starstruck. I have been a model and a B list actress before I started wrestling and in between feds. One of my best friends growing up was Jamie Chung from Real World MTV, we went to the same high school in San Fran before she moved to LA to star in Real World San Diego. Later Lucy and I became friends on the set of one of her movies. Going to UCLA, I was surrounded by stars and their kids. Dad was super rich so we could afford that lifestyle and it allowed me to rub elbows with the same. I mean I'm not Paris Hilton or Taylor Swift but I was comfortable enough in my own right. I have met so many different stars and models on sets and shoots. And being an actor/model/wrestler you come away with lots of different relationships. You know how they love to party hard in Hollywood. And soiree on Broadway.
(I try my best Cary Grant impression)
Stick with me kid and you'll go places and see people.

well look at you then, must have been great being you.
(Karlie mood changed thinking that Ves was suddenly throwing her rich background in her face.)
personally I think LA, the whole Hollywood scene is overrated, and we all all those reality shows are rigged, and honestly they all suck, just my opinion.
(Karlie watched the hot mature chick walking by to distract her from how she felt the conversation was suddenly going.)

Ves: Why watch reality shows when you and I live one. We wrestle and that is reality and fantasy all in one. And the last time I actually watched a reality show was when Jamie was on Real World. Otherwise I barely watch TV. I'd rather be outside playing with my babies, Kenji and Geisha, or hiking or water sports or going to the gym to work out or taking a jog by Ocean Beach. If I have to be inside, I'll go clubbing or some equally active nighttime activity. Home is where bed is to sleep, have sex, to eat, and to just unwind and look at the beautiful views of the SF skyline or wherever you choose to reside. Then, onto the next show and venue.

I guess. I enjoy being outside. You ever been hunting or fishing, or are you not into that, it's fine if your not. Home is something I wish was stable, my life between hockey and wrestling is pretty much a 365 day life, living mostly our of hotels and motels. Tough to have a personal life.

Ves: My sweet. I'm from California. What do you think?
(Thinks for a second about a stable home life)
Life fast die young I guess. Always go all out and never surrender. I guess I take that into wrestling. I'm also 3rd in the West Coast Street Circuit Syndicate. It's street racing and side shows but if you've ever seen Fast and Furious like that and the race course is somewhere in the City or beyond. It's fast, it's thrilling and it's fun. Dad died a year ago, I was never too close to my mom, I am a single child, my grandappa (that's grandmother in Korean) is still alive and living in Vegas with mom. When I'm not acting or modeling or in between wrestling feds, I'm at home teaching the local kids at the YMCA Tae Kwon Do. That is fulfilling in and of itself. But yeah I can see where you never have time for yourself if you do both wrestling and hockey.

Street racing should be outlawed, and Fast and furious should have ended when Paul Walker died. My grandparents have past and with my mom being still active Military and my dad living in Nashville with Tracy, I take every chance to visit with them when I can.

(I laugh)
Ves: It is, in fact, outlawed, but we still do it and it's still big in this country. I'm 1st on the California Circuit and 3rd on the West Coast Circuit. All the cars I've accumulated are from my wins over the years. Plus the sideshows are fun. What does your mom do in the military?

Yeah her infectious disease training really came in handy during the pandemic.
