Driller is sitting on his bed with a laptop on his lap. He’s watching the end of the Ultimate Unification from Evolution VI. Serenity Holmes jumps off the top rope and soars through the air.
Jimmy Garcia: RED BOTTOMS TO DRILLER! SHE GOT IT! SHE GOT ALL OF IT! THE COVER!
ONE!!
TWO!!
THREE!!
Ethan Miller: The winner and UNDISPUTED ACTION WRESTLING CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION, “THE 22ND CENTURY GIRL” SERENITY HOLMES!
The ref straps the Cruiserweight Championship around Serenity’s waist while she lifts the 201 and Fun Championship and the Light Cup in victory.
Driller pauses the video, tosses the laptop to the side, and shoots up off the bed, pacing back and forth, talking to himself.
Driller: Don’t get mad, Driller. She beat you fair and square, but it wasn’t without you putting up a fight. You may have left that match with some injuries, but she walked away with pain, too.
The little pep talk to himself does little to comfort him.
Driller: What does it matter? She’s not here anymore. I can’t avenge my loss to her, but I damn sure am not going to lose to another second-generation wrestler this Monday on Clash when I fight Freddy Whoa, Jr. to become the number one contender for the Cruiserweight Championship.
Driller stops and looks into the camera.
Driller: Freddy, you may be a playa and a pimp, but I don’t care about any of that. The only things I care about are going into the ring, hurting people, winning titles, and making money. When I get you in the ring on Monday, that beating you took from ZMAC and Hotaka last week will feel like child’s play.
You see, I’ve got a lot of frustration built up that I’m looking to take out on someone. You may be angry that you lost out on your chance last week to become the Cruiserweight Champion, but I lost out on being the UNDISPUTED Cruiserweight Champion at Evolution. I could have held three titles all at the same time, but I lost it all in one shot. On top of that, I lost months of my career due to injury. I’ve had to live with my anger for half a year while all I could do was rehab and watch other people get ahead of me.
Every time I re-watch the match at Evolution and see Serenity Holmes drop her boots onto the back of my head, I want to put a hole in the wall.
Every time I’ve had to see Serenity, or Hotaka, or Airborne, or Andre walk around with the Cruiserweight Title, I’ve kept thinking to myself, that should have been mine. I should be the champion right now.
Now, I have the chance to make it right. You think I want to see you walk around with that title?
No.
Absolutely not.
The only person that is going to walk around with the Cruiserweight Championship after Final Chapter is going to be me, Driller Jaworski.
I want the Cruiserweight Championship more than you. I need the Cruiserweight Championship more than you. When I drop you on your head this Monday, you are going to feel just how much more the Cruiserweight Championship means to me than you. The pounding in your head won’t be a headache. It’ll be a signal that I’M FUCKING BACK, and I’m going to dominate Action Wrestling!
He looks back at the laptop on the bed and takes another look at Serenity Holmes holding all three of the titles she won. He seethes with anger and, just like he said he wanted to, punches a hole in the nearest wall. Suddenly, he hears his mother running up the stairs. She appears in his doorway.
Mrs. Jaworski: Stanley, did you put another hole in the wall?! God damn it!!! I’m tired of this bullshit! You’ve been pissed off ever since you lost that god damn match back in June! I swear to God, you better beat the Whoa kid this Monday, because I will not tolerate another minute of you being a moody little prick!
She stomps away while Driller sits down on his bed, shaking and rubbing his face in infuriation.
