January second twenty twenty four.
Eleven hours later. Karlie, Tracy and Hilda touch down in Minnesota after their return flight from Tokyo Japan, where Karlie had competed in her first match for Miracle Galaxy Pro wrestling.
Karlie unfastened her seat belt and stood up and stretched her legs.
Karlie: Jet lag always gets me.
Tracy: Yeah.
Karlie: Made that trip to Japan just to lose.
Tracy: You’ve lost before.
Karlie: Yeah, but that doesn't mean I like it.
The three exit the plane and a car from the church is waiting to take them back to the compound.
Several hours later.
Karlie is inside the compound gym.
So my big Japanese debut didn’t go as I would have hoped, but getting to wrestle inside the historic Tokyo Dome is a memory I won’t be forgetting anytime soon, but I’m not fazed because I’ll win my next match in Japan. But enough about that for now, I’m sure no one wants to hear me babble about Japan.
Karlie paused.
But while I was in Japan I caught clash on Monday, and it appears that Cruiserclash has gone on hiatus, considering all the people that has left and the ranks not being replenished by recent signings it makes sense for such a hiatus to happen right now, but with that comes new opportunities to step back on Clash for the time being.
Karlie smiled.
But no matter how I figured it would provide an opportunity for some new opponents, I find myself facing a familiar opponent, one I know quite well.
Karlie checked out a mature lady that walked past her.
Teo I’ll say this as far as cruiserweights go your at the top of the heap no doubt, no one can argue you're the greatest cruiserweight in Action Wrestling history, hell you may be one of the best in action wrestling history period.
Karlie walks towards the locker room.
Teo whether people truly want to admit it or not, some of your top matches have involved me. The Two Gents and Red, White and Bruises rivalry is one of legend and a blueprint of tag team wrestling regardless of weight class. Our tag team matches will be studied long after we have taken our final breaths in life.
Teo, and while its true Red, White, and Bruised never beat the The Two Gents in tag or whatever matches we competed against each other in, I still consider them some of the best of my career.
Teo I honestly don’t know how you feel about me as a competitor, and honestly I don’t care the world hates me as much as they love you and that fuels me Teo, I don’t need to prove myself to you or anyone else in Action Wrestling, sure I’ll probably continue to loss more matches than I’ll win but nobody I wrestle will ever say a match with me was easy.
Teo everytime I step into a wrestling I do it with a chip on my shoulder and something to prove this Monday will be no different, I have to prove to myself that I’m just a good as you Teo, or prove that I’ve been better than you this whole time, but just haven’t been given all the opportunities you have, This week Teo I don’t care about whatever we’ve done in the past, I’m focusing on my future and hopefully after I finally beat you a future hall of famer, people will realize that they have taken me for granted. I’ve made people better, but it’s time for me to start making myself better, Teo it's plain and simple this week I either beat you or I go down in a blaze of glory.
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13.
See you Monday Teo.
Karlie walked into the locker room and shut the door.
