Chris Avery: Billy's remarks are not in line with the opinions of AW upper management and need to be stricken from the record!
Billy: We could see the Sitcom versus Billy in an "I'll bet I could eat more cherry pies than you on my worst day" pie-eating contest! We could see Billy finally get fed up with being pigeonholed into this stupid hick niche and yearn to break free!! We could - *Billy's mic is cut off*
Ethan Miller: Introducing first... from Brooklyn, New York, weighing in at 220 lbs... he is one-half of the Action Wrestling Tag Team Champions... CIPHER!!
"Bow down before the one you serve, you're going to get what you deserve... Bow down before the one you serve, you're going to get what you deserve..." As the intro of Head like a Hole by NiN finishes you see Cipher enter through the curtain looking directly at the ring, and avoiding the gaze of the fans in the audience, but he doesn't swipe away the outstretched arms of the fans who paid the good money for the aisle seats. He stops ringside and looks at the ring. Puts his head down and centers himself before he runs forward and slides under the bottom rope and slides into his corner waiting for the match to begin.
Chris Avery: Cipher has been impressive, and it's clear that Kevin Bishop saw a lot in him when he recruited him into the New Brotherhood. Now he has a huge opportunity to go for singles gold!
Billy: ......
Ethan Miller: And his opponent...
“ With Oden On Our Side” Hit’s the PA system. The arena grows dark as the fans get to their feet to catch a glimpse of the stage. The fans stand and cheer an once the vocals starts, the arena lights flash back on and there stands Odin Balfore, centre stage. Odin stares down at the ring with a sinister grin as the fans sing along with the chorus.
Ethan Miller: From Houston, Texas, weighing in at 400 lbs... "The All-Father"... ODIN BALFORE!!
Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!
Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist... the battle is.. already won!
The fans pop insanely right after as Odin begins to walk down the ramp at a slow an methodical pace. Once he gets to the foot of the ring, he steps up on it and looks around the arena again before stepping over the ropes..
Crowd: Futile to resist! You know why we have come! Futile to resist...
Odin cuts off the fans as he raises his hand in triumph. Odin turns back to the ring as the fans finish their part.
Crowd: The battle is.. already won!
Odin stares down his opponent as he waits for the match to get underway.
Chris Avery: And look at the intensity in the eyes of Odin Balfore, he wants nothing more than to get back in the title hunt, and the span between Holiday Bash and the season premiere of Clash on CBS is the perfect timing, wouldn't you say, Billy?
Billy: ......(Something inaudible)
Ethan Miller: And their opponent...
The arena lights go out. The church bell rings over the loudspeakers and the arena lights go black light. This lasts for a minute or two before Vespertine comes up from below Gangrel Style, with fans even, hood up, head down, dressed in her wrestling gear. When the lift stops the church bell fades slowly down. Over the loudspeakers you hear.
Ves: You will feel...
DEATH....
by...
DIVA!
"Paint It Black" hits and for several minutes she looks down. Then slowly, surely, she lifts her head up and opens her eyes upon which in the black light, they are all lit up in eerie white orbs pupilless and she looks around at the audience. Then she reaches out to them as if encompassing their souls. She steps off the lift gets to the edge of the stage, looks around, then points suddenly at the ring where two streaks of lightning hit the ring coming from opposite corners of the arena. She saunters down to the ring in time to the music.
Ethan Miller: From the Gates of Eternity by way of Paradise, weighing in at 120 lbs... She is Elegance Personified. I give you, VESPERTINE!!!
She goes around to all four corners and bows to them, then goes to the ring steps, bows once more, goes up the steps and goes through the ropes, wiping her trenchcoat duster away from her body. She goes to the middle of the ring where she looks around at the audience then looks up and raises her hand in the air in the sign of a V. She suddenly brings it down whereupon blue fire pyro pillars go off at each corner. She looks around and then focuses on her opponents. She watches her opponent as she goes back to a corner where she hands her jacket to a ring techie. Then she bows her head to remove her hood and we see her eyes are once again their normal dark pupils. She prepares for the match by putting hand to fist and bowing to her opponent.
Chris Avery: Absolutely spine-tingling, we havent gotten much sense of just how much of Vespertine is theatrics, but she does have a way of getting in her opponent's heads.
Billy: .......
Chris Avery: That's true, Billy, you know she WOULD love another shot at the US title and Sitcom, she got inside of his head by stealing the US title belt in the run up to Turmoil, then took the champion to his absolute limit at the PPV. Good insight.
Billy: ..... (cursing just loud enough to be audible, ignored by Avery)
The bell rings and Vespertine stands between two of her opponents, making hand motions and telling them to bow down to the Death by Diva. There is an element of mysticism and electricity in the air as Odin and Cipher lock eyes. Cipher looks from Vespertine, to Odin, and then he decides he's had enough of this and charges at Odin. Odin annihilates him with a clothesline. Vespy also charges at the biggest man in the match, but as she runs towards him she is flung high overhead with a back body drop, falling all the way down to bang on the mat, and roll around, holding his back. Cipher gets to his feet, only to be planted with a scoop slam, and then a vicious elbow drop across the throat. Odin lifts Cipher up to his feet and whips him into the corner, following it up with a large corner splash. Cipher stumbles to his knees out of the corner. Odin turns his attention to Vespertine, who assaults him with a few right hands, and Odin takes him down with a harsh headbutt. Vespertine drops limply to the mat, and Odin lets out an enraged yell. He lifts Vespertine up and places her in a torture rack, digging Vespertine's ribs in deep. Vespertine yells in pain. After a moment of refusing to release the hold, Odin simply throws Vespertine to the mat chest and face first. Cipher is getting to his feet, and he eats a heavy right hand from Odin, backing him up to the ropes, but Cipher viciously rakes Odin's eyes. Odin stumbles away. Cipher comes running at him, looking for a clothesline, but Odin catches him and plants Cipher into the mat with a wicked spinebuster.
Chris Avery: Odin is asserting his domination in this match so far. It's going to take everything both competitors down have to keep the big man down in this state of mind.
Billy (from far away): ...can I come back to commentary now?
Chris Avery: Are you gonna be good? Hey. Look at me. Are. You going to be. Good.
Billy: Yess s...
Chris Avery: Yes what, bitch??
Billy: Yes sir, I'll be good.
Chris Avery: Turn his mic up. (Mumbles) that's what I thought.
Odin lifts Vespertine up to her feet, irish whipping her into the corner. Odin goes looking for a corner clothesline, but Vespertine pulls herself up to the top rope, and then he locks his hands around Odin's throat as he twists around to Odin's back, and attempts to fall to his back with a double knee backbreaker. Odin is pulled off his feet onto Vespertine's knees. Vespertine climbs to her feet and motions for Odin to get up. She bounces off of the ropes and immediately ducks a clothesline attempt by Odin, before bouncing off the ropes on the other side of the ring and running straight into a shoulderblock from Odin that sends the much smaller Death by Diva down backfirst to the canvas. Vespertine then rolls outside of the ring and down onto the floor. Odin stands at the ropes looking down at Vespertine, mouthing some things in his direction. Cipher clubs Odin over the back. Cipher begins working Odin over with punches and clubs. After a few moments, Vespertine gets back up to her feet and slides back into the ring. Odin attempts to elbow Cipher off. Vespertine kicks Odin in the midsection bending him over, and then plants punch after punch against Odin's head backing him up to the middle of the ring. Vespertine then chops Odin in the chest before running like hell back into the ropes to come back with an abundance of momentum only to be taken to the canvas with a back elbow. Odin elbows Cipher, but is taken by a boot to the midsection. Finally, Cipher is able to take Odin down with a swinging neckbreaker. He goes for a cover.
The referee: One... Vespertine breaks it up by diving on Cipher.
Vespertine and Cipher start arguing for a second, and as they rise to their feet it escalates and they get into a shoving match. Vespertine slaps Cipher. Cipher hauls off and plants a right hand on Vespertine. The two start exchanging rights for a second, but then Odin starts to stir. They both stop what they're doing, look down on Odin, and in an instant's snap decision dogpile on him and begin clubbing him down with a mugging assault of kicks and punches.
Chris Avery: Despite their differences Vespertine and Cipher both know for sure they need to weaken the big man, Odin.
Billy: We love Odin here, buddy. Grins, thumbs up.
Chris Avery: You just said grins, thumbs up, out loud without performing those actions.
Working together, they're able to lift the massive bulk of Balfore. Vespertine and Cipher take Odin down with a double snap suplex. Vespertine shoots to her feet, bragging to the crowd. She then runs and hits a rolling thunder senton across the chest of Odin. Vespy gets to her feet, playing to the crowd, prompting a chorus of boos. Cipher shrugs the crackpot off and begins booting Odin. Cipher lifts Odin up and applies a rear chinlock. Odin's arms start shaking with effort as he begins pulling himself up, and then he elbows Cipher over and over again until he releases the hold, then takes Cipher over with a vertical suplex. He goes for the pin...
The referee: One.. Vespertine breaks up the pin.
Chris Avery: And again Vespertine is not letting either man gain the pin, she wants to sneak in and steal it the way she's stolen like three titles by now!!
Odin looks up at the referee and gets a well placed kick straight to the temple. Vespertine grabs Odin by the arm and applies the armwringer. Odin, in his haze reverses the move and bends Vespertine's arm so she kneels against the canvas. Vespertine rolls forward reversing the armwringer and forcing Odin into the ropes for an irish whip. Odin comes bouncing back and blows through the 120-pound Vespertine with a shoulder block. Cipher comes from the side and hits Odin with a side russian leg sweep. He pulls Odin up and applies a side headlock. Vespertine gets back up and sees this and grins. She comes up from behind Cipher, slaps him in the back of the head and applies his own side headlock on Cipher. Vespertine leads the submission chain around like a conga line much to the amusement of the crowd. The referee asks Odin if he wants to quit, he yells no, so the referee goes to Cipher for an answer, he also yells no. Odin breaks free from the headlock, bounces into the ropes and hits Vespertine with a hard clothesline, knocking over Cipher in the process as well. Odin scoops up Vespertine and slams him down with a sidewalk slam. He drags him up and vertical suplex lifts him up. He holds him there for a moment and drops him down again. Cipher drags up Vespertine and sends her over with a vertical suplex of his own. Odin tilts his head and looks at him like with a challenging expression and lifts up Vespertine driving her down with a powerslam. Cipher smiles as he bounces into the ropes and drives a knee across Vespertine's chest giving a bit of flourish move with his arms after.
Chris Avery: And now both Cipher and Odin are going to town on the self-proclaimed Asian Sensation.
Billy: Funny, the only Asian Sensation I've felt lately is at the massage parlor where I -
Chris Avery: Billy. We aren't doing that shtick this time. Apologize immediately.
Billy: ....I'm sorry, sir.
Odin turns on Cipher with a boot to the gut. Odin begins viciously clubbing Cipher over the back, taking him down to his knees. Odin lifts Cipher up and plants him with impact into the mat with a ring shaking pop-up powerbomb. Odin waits for Vespertine to get up, and Odin boots Vespertine in the gut and gives Vespertine a second pop-up powerbomb on top of Cipher. Odin shoves Vespertine off of the lifeless, winded Cipher with a boot, and covers Cipher.
Chris Avery: Odin just laid out two different Stormbreakers, and both competitors are in trouble!!
The referee: One...
Two... kickout.
Frustrated, Odin sits up, disappointed and slapping the mat, then grimacing a little and looking over at his other opponent. Odin snarls as he gets to his feet, pulling the much smaller Vespy up by the back of the head, and he then whips Vespertine into the corner and charges in fully steam, and nearly decapitates her with a big boot that leaves Vespertine barely able to stand, walking out of the corner with her head bobbling around like a vintage bobblehead. Odin then lifts Vespertine up and takes her down with a running powerslam in the middle of the ring, and he pins Vespertine.
Chris Avery: LAWMAKER!! AND THERE'S THE COVER!!
The referee: One...
Two... Cipher breaks it up.
Cipher lifts Odin up, clubbing his back viciously, but Odin fights back with an uppercut to the throat. As Odin runs back to the ropes, his foot is caught by a still recovering Vespy. A menacing Odin turns around and snarls a loud threat to Vespertine, who rolls to the apron. Odin turns around, and is met by a standing dropkick from Cipher that makes him stumble back into the ropes. Cipher climbs onto the apron as Odin is against the ropes, and Cipher grab's Odin's head and pulls him down, by the back of the neck first, across the top rope. Odin falls away, holding his neck. Cipher climbs back into the ring and begins stomping on Odin's neck. Cipher applies a neck vise submission, and when Odin refuses to give up, and even, seems to be enjoying the pain, Cipher lets one hand go so that he can pound on Odin with punches before twisting the move again. Odin begins fighting his way to his feet. He begins punching his way free of the submission, but Cipher rakes his eyes. Cipher boots Odin in the stomach and runs off the ropes, hitting a knee lift to the temple that takes the big man down. Vespertine finally makes it to her feet, only to be levelled once again by a spinning heel kick from Cipher. Cipher looks from Odin to Vespertine and back again, and then he walks over to the turnbuckle, positioning himself as he looks down, and he flies off with a 450 splash across Vespertine's chest.
Chris Avery: Cipher has both competitors right where he wants them, neither is in any position to answer this!
Billy:
TheOne...
Two... Kickout.
A frustrated Cipher yells a little, and pounds the mat, but, knowing her needs to stay focused if he wants to bring another title back to the New Brotherhood, his face seems to shift in determination under his mask. Cipher slowly lifts Vespertine up, applying an abdominal stretch. Vespertine yells and thrashes her arm, but she can't go anywhere. Cipher releases an arm so that he can pound on Vespertine's stretched midsection. He tightens the hold again. Several long moments pass as Vespertine desperately reaches out for the ropes. Cipher struggles with the hold, and finally Vespertine is able to flip him off with a sort of a hip toss. Before Vespertine can get back to her feet completely, Cipher clubs her down again. Cipher lifts Vespertine up, whipping her into the ropes. As Vespertine comes back Cipher takes her down with a snap powerslam. Cipher fires up, pacing around, grabbing the arm of Vespy. He whips her in to the corner, then follows in with a rununing corner splash. Vespertine limply stumbles and moves around in a dazed arc, before she drops back into the corner and happens to fall perfectly into a seated position. While she's doing this, Cipher runs to the opposite corner, and he comes back with a running dropkick on the sitting opponent.
Chris Avery: WHAT A COMBINATION!
Billy: I don't even know what he calls that!! Seriously! Running splash in corner kicky face kick??
The referee: One...
Two...
Th- Odin breaks up the pin.
Odin hits Cipher with several right hands, backing him up to the ropes. Cipher then rakes Odin's eyes, and runs off the ropes, but Odin catches him up on his shoulders. Odin walks around the ring with Cipher on his shoulders, and Vespertine gets to her feet, running behind Odin and attempting to jump him from behind, but Odin is able to twist and catch Vespertine on his shoulders as well. In a display of great strength, Odin walks around the ring with both competitors in a fireman's carry position on his shoulders before dumping them with a double Samoan drop.
Chris Avery: Geez look at the power!
Odin lifts Cipher up and drops him from great height with a two handed chokebomb. Vespertine gets slowly to her feet, and is mauled by a clothesline from Hell that flips her inside out.
Chris Avery: SLEIPNIR to Vespertine!
Billy: Put her ASS to Sleipnir lmaoooo got'emmm!
Odin goes to lift a limp Vespertine up, but he is distracted by Cipher, rolling to the outside in a daze and going over to pick up his Tag Title belt. It isn't clear if Cipher is going to use it as a weapon or if he's just grabbing it so he can have it, but the referee, not understanding the New Brotherhood's whole deal that much, either, intercepts and tells Cipher to give up the Tag belt. Cipher argues for a moment. Odin comes over to fling his arms out at the referee, angrily. Suddenly Vespertine gives Odin a low blow from behind while the ref is attending to Cipher. Odin is doubled over in pain, and Vespertine hits a scissor kick. Vespertine then looks wildly around, sensing her moment is coming, and she points to the corner. Gritting her teeth through a veil of pain, the Epically Diva climbs to the top rope, as Odin is slowly starting to pull himself over onto his knees, Vespy sets herself on the ropes... and she flies off, taking Odin off balance and flipping him over with a high angle corkscrew hurricanrana that dumps him on his back!!
Billy: A MOVE SHE JUST MADE UP!!
Vespy lunges on Odin while he's on his back, gripping both legs into a deep cover.
The referee: One...
Two...
Three - Cipher breaks it up!!
Cipher throws Vespertine to the outside, and Vespy crashes to the mats and doesn't move. Cipher walks over to the ropes, and scales it quickly like some sort of ninja, before he flies off the top rope with a senton. He covers...
Chris Avery: And CIPHER with the BROKEN CODE THIS COULD BE OVER!!
The referee: One...
Two...
Thr- Vespertine pulls Cipher out of the ring.
Chris Avery: This is bubbling up into a lot of jealous and petty feelings, as each one of them in this match has a case that they should be in the running for the US title and will not allow the others to even get a pin!
Vespertine boots and clubs Cipher down on the outside, and she grabs Cipher's arm and whips him into the steel steps on the outside, and Cipher hits with a loud, catastrophic bang.. Vespertine then enters the ring, and she climbs to the top rope, flipping off and hitting a double foot stomp to the chest of Odin. She covers...
The referee: One...

Three - Kickout!!
Vespertine shrieks, incensed and enraged after all of that that Odin is still in this match. She seethes with villainous rage as she endeavors to lift the bulky Odin up, but Odin shoves her away. Vespertine immediately comes back, clubbing Odin down. Odin shoves her away. Vespertine runs off the ropes, ducks a clothesline, runs to the opposite ropes, and avoids a clothesline from the rising Odin on the return. Vespertine runs off the opposite ropes yet again, but on the bounce back she runs right into a high angle carry-over spinebuster. An exhausted Odin drops down for a cover.
Chris Avery: BALFORE WITH THE ENFORCER!
Billy: Enforce his way into er - No, you know what, I'm on good behavior tonight, I'm sorry.
Chris Avery: ODIN IS ON HIS WAY TO FIGHTING FOR THE US TITLE!!The referee: One...

Three - Kickout!
Odin lifts Vespertine up, attempting a full nelson submission hold, but Vespertine keeps throwing elbows to keep her arms free. Odin viciously headbutts Vespertine in the back of the head until she goes limp. Vespertine struggles, but Odin clamps the much smaller woman into a full nelson. Vespertine flails her arms and tries to wiggle down and free, but she can't escape. Odin is throwing her around like a rag doll. Vespertine scrambles towards the corner while the hold is still not tight, and tries to push off the turnbuckles with her legs. Odin won't let go, or get knocked off balance. He simply shakes Vespertine around. Vespertine looks like she's going to fade from existance, as Odin starts taking him down to the mat with the full nelson still applied. She sinks to one knee. Vespertine's face is bright red from the pressure and her chin in going down to her chest. The referee checks Vespertine, signifying if she's out cold yet but Vespertine refuses to give up, holding on to consciousness. It looks as if she'll have no choice, however, as Odin refuses to release the submission. Vespertine looks out of it. Suddenly, Cipher comes into the picture, taking Odin down with a running double footed dropkick to the face. Odin releases the hold, and Vespertine limply slithers under the ropes to the outside and lays there. Cipher gives Odin a few boots while he's down. Cipher waits for Odin to get up, and then he climbs to the top rope. Odin gets to his feet, and Cipher flies off, grabbing Odin's head and spiking it down to the mat with a tornado DDT. Cipher goes for a pin.
The referee: One...

Thre... Kickout.
Cipher lifts Odin up, and attempts to hook his arms for a standing surfboard, but Odin pushes him off. Cipher hits the ropes and hangs on. Odin comes charging at him, but Cipher sees him coming and grabs the top rope, pulling it down, as Odin goes falling over the top rope and spills to the outside. Odin gets to his feet, picking himself up, and Cipher slingshots himself over, taking Odin down with a suicide plancha. All three competitors are down on the outside. The ref is checking on all three men. Cipher gets to his feet, lifting Vespertine up, and bouncing her head off the apron. He rolls Vespertine into the ring. He applies a standing surfboard on Vespertine. Vespertine yells in pain, and thrashes her arms. After a few more minutes, Cipher still is working a lifeless Vespertine over with a submission. Cipher is booted in the back of the head by Odin. Odin goes to pin Cipher... but before he can even... Vespertine comes out of nowhere and boots him in the face, making Odin roll out of the ring, dazed. Vespertine pins Cipher.
The referee: One...

Three... a pissed off Odin yanks Vespertine out of the ring.
Odin destroys Vespertine with a clothesline. Odin lifts Vespertine up and walks her over to the announce table and throws him across it. The ref tells Odin to get back in the ring but Odin snarls at him. Billy and Avery scramble out of the way. He climbs up onto the table and lifts Vespertine up, giving her a sitdown powerbomb across the table. The table shakes, but doesn't break. Odin lifts Vespertine back up, lifting her up and giving him a second sitdown powerbomb across the table. Vespertine is laid out limply across the table. Odin lifts Vespertine up on his shoulder and walks her over to the ring, throwing her in. Odin climbs in, and he spies Cipher getting to his feet. Odin goes for a running big boot, but Cipher ducks. Cipher swings for a clothesline but Odin throws Vespertine into it!
DOWN SHE GOES!
ODIN KICKS CIPHER AND is able to load him up onto his shoulders and jack knife powerbomb!
Chris Avery: MARK OF ODIN CONNECTS!!Billy: OH MYYVespertine gets up and ODIN HITS THE RAGANROK ON VESPERTINE!!
