The fans stand and cheer an once the vocals starts, the arena lights flash back on and there stands Odin Balfore, centre stage. Chris Avery: The last time we saw Odin Balfore, he was just barely missed out on his chance to become the Hardcore Champion... but now, he wants to step up and take on the task of becoming the 2023 Wrestler Of the Year!Ethan Miller: And his opponent...
The arena goes dark as the familiar voice of 2Pac interrupts the darkness
Ethan Miller: From Oakland, California... weighing in at 215 lbs... DOC HOLIDAY!!
"I won't deny it,
I'm a straight ridah,
You don't wanna fuck with me"
A spotlight shines on Doc Holiday as he stands at the top of the entrance ramp, hood up on his black AW wrestling sweat shirt. His head slowly bobs to the music as he walks to the ring looking very focused on the task at hand. Fans reach out to touch him, but he ignores them as he walks to the ring stopping short of the ring apron, pausing for a moment jumps straight onto the ring apron and slides the the middle rope, going to the center of the ring where he embraces the boo's from the crowd with a sly smirk and his arms out.
Chris Avery: Holiday is still sporting wounds from being smashed into thumbtacks, and he's had several brutal encounters with Downfall... but tonight, he hopes he can get back on the right track with a big victory!Billy: This may be too high a mountain to climb, he's gotta bring down a 400 pound giant! That right there is what we call a BIG MOTHERFUCKER!Chris Avery: And here I was expecting you to have some countrified aphorism for him like a Ragin' Bearcat or something.Billy: You must think very little of me!!The two men circle each other, and go to lock up. Holiday stops at the last second, and turns to play to the crowd. Odin waits for a moment, and then Holiday turns back toward him and holds his arms out. They go for a collar-elbow tieup, and, amazingly, Holiday, using all of his force and determination that took him through amateur wrestling and MMA, pushes Odin back towards the ropes. Odin pushes back and the two jockey for position for a moment, before Holiday twists Odin's arm with an arm wrench, and then works it into an wristlock. Odin flexes him and starts to throw him to the mat, but Holiday stops him by holding out his hand. Odin calls for another tieup, test of strength style, and the two men lock hands and Odin starts to push Holiday down to his knees. Odin laughs, and exerts more pressure, and Holiday slowly starts to buckle, and the Holiday falls to his back and uses his legs to kick Odin off and fling him into the air. Odin quickly lands on his feet, but as he turns around Holiday takes him down with an arm drag. Odin slaps the mat, and tries to pull free, but Holiday twists his arm into an armbar. Odin screams. Holiday twists his arm, and Odin reaches for the ropes, but they're out of reach. Suddenly, Odin flings his free elbow back into the side of Holiday’s temple, then another, then another, making Holiday release the hold. Holiday crawls to his feet, and Odin gets up, shakes his arm to get some feeling into it, and runs at Holiday for a clothesline. Holiday scouts it, takes Odin to the mat with a judo takedown, and holds on to his arm, twisting it into a keylock.
Chris Avery: I'm absolutely astounded by the technical acumen it takes to not only get Odin Balfore off guard, but bring him down and lock him in an armbar.Billy: With enough leverage, Achilles proved he could move a ship with a lever!Chris Avery: ...You mean, Archimedes? And that story is apocryphal and most likely a myth, you know.Billy: Does that judo takedown on that big bitch Odin look mythical to you? Does it??Odin screams, as Holiday cinches in the hold. The crowd is starting to get behind both men, and Odin is pushing himself up with his free hand. With Holiday still holding his arm behind him in a keylock, Odin pushes over so that Holiday's shoulders are pinned to the mat. The referee counts...
The referee: One... Kickout.
Chris Avery: I'm astounded this match didn't start the way Odin probably thought it would, with him using his overwhelming power, he had to panic and try for a pinfall to get out of that hold!Holiday gets to his feet, and pulls Odin up. He goes to whip Odin to the ropes, but Odin reverses, sending Holiday to the ropes. At the last second, Holiday hops up to balance on the second rope for a moment, then springboards off and takes Odin down with a springboard back kick. Odin gets to his feet, and Holiday takes him back down to a sitting position with a snapmare, then runs off the ropes in front of Odin and comes in with a baseball slide dropkick to the face of Odin. Holiday covers...
The referee: One... Kickout.
Holiday gets to his feet and grips Odin's arms, and pulls them back with a knee in Odin's back in a surfboard submission. Odin screams, and tries to get to his feet, but Holiday pulls back on the hold. Shane asks Odin if he gives up, but Odin does not reply. Odin slowly starts getting to his feet, and he twists around and before Holiday can react, Odin drops down with a surprise jawbreaker. Holiday lays on the mat, holding his jaw. Odin rests for a moment, then gets to his feet, pulling Holiday up. He clubs Holiday over the back several times, and then Holiday fights back by flinging an elbow into his midsection. Holiday starts getting to his feet as he lays a few rights and elbows into the face of Odin, but Odin cuts him off by viciously raking the eyes. Now the big man shoots to his feet, face purpling. Grabbing Holiday's arm, he whips the arrogant former TV champion into the ropes, and knocks him to the ground with a shoulder block on the return. A few stomps has Holiday reeling in pain as he tries to stand. Odin headbutts Holiday into the corner and follows up with a few shots to the body. An elbow to the face has Holiday bleeding from his nose, and stumbling away. Odin plants him with a vicious and simple scoop slam, and follows it up with an elbow drop across the chest. The big man rolls onto his haunches for a pin.
The referee: One... Kickout.
Odin lifts Holiday off the mat and goes to throw a punch, but Holiday manages to get a jab in. A stunned Odin is caught off guard as Holiday grabs his head and drives a few knees into his forehead from a clinch; and also a few dirty elbows that split his lip open. Holiday releases the clinch, backs up and lunges forward with a clothesline that floors Odin. He transitions down toward the knee of the big man. Holiday looking to wear the monster down with a knee bar, this move, when done correctly, can cause a significant amount of pain. Odin yells in pain in the middle of the ring. He lunges towards the ropes, but Holiday isn’t making it easy. Finally, Odin manages to make it to the ropes and the referee forces Holiday to break the hold. Odin tries to stand on his injured leg, but Holiday is like a shark that smells blood and quickly goes back to work. He drives a shoulder into the back of the injured knee and forces Odin to collapse on the bad knee. Now, Holiday explodes in with a savate kick to the back of the head.
Chris Avery: Holiday is working with an urgency, and a drive, that we don't typically see out of him, he is frenzied and looking to wear Odin down!Billy: I have to believe he got enough getting knocked down in his battles with Downfall, and he really wants to get back on the winning track! It takes some work to muscle the 400 pounder onto his back from that position, but Holiday does it, finally.
The referee: One...
Two... Kickout.
Holiday sits up, fuming, as he has his hands on his knees and peering down at Odin. Not wasting the time to bitch about it, Holiday quickly and aggressively locks in a rear chin lock. The referee is on the spot asking Odin to surrender. Odin refuses before starting to work his way up to a vertical base where he counters with a jaw breaker. Odin gets back to his feet where he nails Holiday with a chop across the chest which sends Holiday back into a neutral corner. Odin comes forward where he shoots him across the ring and into the opposite buckles. Odin charges forward where he's met with a boot to the face that staggers Odin back out towards the center of the ring. Holiday explodes with a running knee to the jaw of Odin which sends Odin to the mat. Holiday quickly snatches both legs of Odin where he looks to lock in a sharpshooter. Odin quickly squirms towards the ropes where he's able to latch on to the bottom rope which causes a break at the referee's request to Holiday. Holiday releases the thick legs of Odin as he makes his way out to the center of the ring while Odin slides out to the floor where he begins pacing back and forth with his hands on his hips. The referee starts laying the count to Odin, it's at his five count that Odin climbs back up on the ring apron before stepping back into the ring. He and Holiday circle each other once more before looking to lock up. The crowd boo's as Odin thumbs Holiday in the eyes before driving a boot to the midsection which allows Odin to take a front face lock. He snaps Holiday over with a suplex before quickly getting to his feet where he pulls Holiday towards a neutral corner. Odin then unexpectedly gets an angry look in his eye, and the big man throws all caution to the wind as he starts getting up on the ropes, even though it doesn't look like structurally they want to hold his weight. Odin picks himself up to stand on the second rope, and then he goes one step higher to the top rope before coming off with an attempted Vader Bomb, but suddenly Holiday pulls his knees up at the last second which causes Odin to drive himself into them midsection first. It is quite possibly the most breath taking few seconds we could expect. Especially so in the aftermath, for Odin, who is rolling around holding his midsection. The crowd erupts in a burst of applause.
Billy: And, somehow, Holiday is not lying flat as a pancake. Amazing.Groaning and holding his midsection, Odin lays on the mat as Holiday starts pushing himself up on his elbows, thinking if he scrambles over he could get a cover. Odin suddenly gets a burst of energy and slides out of the ring. Odin paces into the aisle, coughing and having a fit. Holiday follows, foolishly, right into the trap of the monster. Odin turns and catches an off guard Holiday with a thunderous clothesline. Holiday holds the back of his head as Odin continues to regain his composure. He finally approaches Holiday, lifts him off his feet, and whips him into the steel post. Holiday can’t stop his momentum and goes shoulder first into the cold steel. He ricochets off the post and collapses in a heap. Odin stalks his prey and drives a few boots into the injured shoulder of Holiday. He lifts him up and grabs his arm, only to drive his own shoulder into the injured area on Holiday. A few shoulder blocks later and Holiday is on the ground writhing in pain. Odin smiles at the damage he’s inflicted and goes to work on the arm. He puts Holiday in a chicken wing and wrenches forward with all his force. The referee begs them to get back in the ring.
Chris Avery: Odin is having his way with Holiday on the outside.Odin releases the hold enough to Biel toss Holiday across the entire aisle, letting him splat against the pavement. He gives the referee a dark look, rolls under the bottom rope just enough to break any count the ref was thinking of giving, and goes back to lift Holiday up. He lifts Holiday up by the arm, and irish whips him with force into the steel steps, dislodging them a bit with a jarring bang and Holiday hits shoulder first. Again, Holiday grips his arm and screams. Now Odin throws Holiday in the ring again. Odin gets in the ring himself. The referee checks on Holiday, but he waves it off. He’s already taken a battering, but he is not willing to give up just yet. Odin goes to lift him, but Holiday gives him a jawbreaker, making Odin stumble off. Holiday runs at Odin, going for another running lariat, springing up into the air so that there is full force behind his punch, but Odin swings Holiday in a circle, driving him into the mat with a Black Hole slam. Odin quickly smirks as he gets back up to his feet. Holiday struggles to roll onto his front and push himself back up. Odin grabs him by the back of the neck yet again, plucking him back into the air and holding Holiday with one hand by his cheeks. He shouts some abuse into his face, but Holiday suddenly counters with a kick to the kneecap. Odin instantly lets go of Holiday, keeling over painfully. Holiday runs at the ropes, rebounding and flattening Odin with a cross body.
Chris Avery: And the big man is taken off his feet!Billy: Doc is just jamming a stick into a beehive, it’s only a matter of time before he gets stung!Chris Avery: That’s VERY metaphorical of you, Billy.Billy: I’ve been catching up with the works of Dickens and Shakespeare the last couple of weeks.Chris Avery: Really?Billy: Pffft... No!Holiday begins to deliver an array of ground based moves to Odin. Stomps to the chest, elbow drops, knee drops and the like before finally kneeling down on Odin’s torso and delivering an array of punches to Odin’s head. Odin claws at Holiday, trying to force him to dismount whilst swatting the punches away. Odin finally manages to get Holiday to cease his attack by raking his eyes, a tactic deployed by Holiday not so long ago. Odin throws Holiday off of him and quickly climbs to one knee. Holiday flies into the ropes and comes off with a springboard hurricanrana, but Odin catches him, locking his hands, and holding him in the air for a second. Holiday's head whips around frantically as he sees his momentum for the attempted Premeditated Disaster has been halted.
Billy: I think we're seeing a self-fulfilling prophecy in naming!!Odin turns the hurricanrana attempt into a pop-up lift, before decimating Holiday with a powerbomb!!
Chris Avery: Holiday was just crushed by the STORM BREAKER!!Odin sinks down for a cover...

Thre - Kickout!
Odin sits up off of Holiday, snarling and shaking his head in disbelief, while Holiday's head spasms. Odin lifts the shaking Holiday up like a ragdoll, and grabs him around the waist, powering him into a corner, before unleashing a combination of shoulder thrusts to the mid section. Odin backs away for one final blow, looking to hit a spear in the corner. He lunges at Holiday, who quickly pulls himself up onto the top turnbuckle. Odin’s shoulder goes straight into the steel ring post. He roars in pain, trying to withdraw his now trapped shoulder from the corner. Holiday stands on the top rope, delivering a double foot stomp to Odin’s spine before rolling across the canvas. Holiday climbs between the ropes, grabbing Odin’s arm and slamming it against the ring post. He bellows in pain once again as Holiday follows up with a punch to the face. You can feel the anger and frustration in Holiday that is overflowing here in this match. Odin is finally able to prise his shoulder out of the turnbuckle and stands back up in the center of the ring, trying to shake the pain out of his arm, rolling his shoulder back and forth to get the blood flowing again. He isn’t aware of Holiday, who has now climbed to the top of the turnbuckle, perched like a cat ready to pounce. Odin turns, when Holiday finally makes a bold leap, looking to take down Odin with another cross body, but this time Odin catches Holiday in midair before driving Holiday’s ribs into his knee with a rib breaker. Holiday yells in pain, but Odin doesn’t release Holiday, instead he repeats the painful maneuver twice over before lifting Holiday high above his head before putting him in a torture rack. Holiday screams in pain!
Chris Avery: Holiday is in a world of pain up there, and there's no easy way down.Seeing that Holiday continues to refuse to give up, Odin spins the torture rack into a devastating neckbreaker, laying Holiday out in the middle of the ring. Odin then gets to his feet, gripping the wrist and pulling it up before laying a few stomps on the injured arm of Holiday. Finally, using that arm he lifts him up, walking him to the corner, before slamming his hand onto the turnbuckle. Holiday yells in pain. As Balfore goes for it again, Holiday fights back and manages to land a quick elbow into the abs of Odin. With himself free he uses his injured hand to deliver a vicious knife edged chop. Odin reels backwards in pain and so does Holiday as his injured hand feels the effects of the move. Feeling the life back in his hand Holiday executes the maneuver one more time and goes for a double leg takedown, only to find Odin much more stout than he imagined. Odin gets his hand in between Holiday and his body and uses it to wrap himself around the neck of Holiday. Holiday rolls and escapes only to catch a right hook to the face. Then, Odin backs up a few steps only to come straight in with a big boot.
Billy: Holiday is fighting with everything he can but he's losing the battle to the strength of the All-Father!Chris Avery: Well despite his attitude we've seen how far Holiday is willing to go for this! This is his WAR! He WANTS to advance in WOTY in a big way!!!Odin stands and yells at the referee for a bit, which gives Holiday enough time to stand up again. Holiday comes in behind Odin, booting him in the back of the kneecap. Odin staggers a few steps holding his leg. He turns to Holiday, who boots him in the gut and goes for a flying knee facebuster, but Odin pulls his head free at the last second and straightens up, Holiday turns around and is dropped by a headbutt! Holiday is stunned, and he staggers over to drape against the ropes, blinking and trying to shake the cobwebs out. The reinvigorated Odin grits his teeth and steps forward. He grabs Holiday by the hair, walking him over to the corner, where he slams Holiday's head off the turnbuckle. Odin slaps Holiday in the chest several times with a series of chops. Odin picks Holiday up and he sits him up on the top rope. Odin stars to climb up, but Holiday stops him with a rake to the eyes. Holiday shoves Odin off of the ropes with a boot. Holiday stands up on the second rope, and just as Odin stands up, Holiday flies and he crushes Odin with a second rope bulldog. Holiday crawls over and he drapes his arm across Odin’s chest.
Chris Avery: Holiday is still showing signs of life!Billy: This is Holiday's moment, if he can pull off a big win and advance to the next round of Wrestler of the Year, it will validate everything he's been saying for months about being a FUTURE Main Eventer!!The referee: One…
Two… Kickout
Holiday gets to his feet as Odin holds his knee in pain. Holiday tries to pull him back to the center of the ring so he can reapply the hold. Odin twists his body in such a way that he’s able to push Holiday off with his other foot. Holiday flies and he smacks the corner face first. Odin gets up to his feet, favoring his injured knee. Holiday turns around, only to be slammed to the mat with a spinebuster. Both men are down for a second as The ref checks on them. Odin is the first man to move, pushing himself up. Holiday also starts to stir, but Odin is to his feet before Holiday can get up. Holiday stands up with his back to Odin. Odin wraps his arms around Holiday's waist and he flings him with a high angle release German suplex. Odin stands up and he gets charged up by his adrenaline rush. Odin pulls Holiday to his feet and he executes an Irish whip. Odin destroys Holiday on the rebound with a high angle spinebuster. He rolls over for the cover.
Chris Avery: THE ENFORCER!! ENFORCER TO HOLIDAY!!The referee: One...
Two... Kickout
Odin snarls down at Holiday. He screams for him to get his ass up, and when he goes Odin boots him in the gut, walks him towards the corner and sticks his head between his legs. He gives Holiday a vicious jack-knife style powerbomb into the turnbuckles. Holiday's head snaps back with sickening whiplash, and he falls to the mat. Odin starts to turn him over for the pin, but he shakes his finger "no" with a cold expression on his face. He lifts Holiday up, whipping him into the corner, then he paces to the opposite corner. Odin charges in and nearly beheads Holiday with a devastating corner big boot. Holiday limply tries to hold himself up in the corner, but then simply flops to the mat. Odin has a look of aggression on his face as he looks down at Holiday. The ref tries to come between the two men so that he can check on Holiday. Odin and the ref argue for a second. Odin finally pushes the ref away. He goes to lift Holiday up, only to be cut off by a punch to the stomach, then Holiday drops down, pulling Odin's head across his knees with a double knee facebuster. Odin stumbles back to the ropes, checking him mouth. Holiday rests, trying to catch his breath. At length, Holiday pulls himself up, and he ducks under a right hand from Odin. Holiday tattoo's Odin with several more rights, firing up on the big man. Holiday whips Odin to the ropes, but Odin stops himself by holding on to the top rope. Holiday spots Odin, and comes running at him, but Odin runs forward, hooks his arm across Holiday's throat and in one quick motion, slams him down to the mat with powerful STO. Holiday arches his back. Odin takes a moment to lift him up, and drop him with a gutbuster. Holiday yells in pain and holds his injured midsection. Odin applies a rear bearhug, grinding his forearms into Holiday's midsection. Holiday screams and yells, trying to thrash his arms. Odin simply sweeps him down to the mat with a belly to back takedown. He gives Holiday several powerful mounted knee strikes to the midsection. Odin lifts Holiday back up, shaking his head and giving him some choice words. He lifts Holiday up in powerslam position, then drops him across his knee with a backbreaker. Odin pulls back with all his might as he stretches Holiday across his knee, putting Holiday in a serious amount of pain.
Chris Avery: And yet again, Odin has stretched Holiday beyond humanly limits!Billy: Odin wants to get to the finals of this tournament in a big way, to make up for his struggles in the last year.Chris Avery: But this is Holiday's first WOTY tournament also, and you know he is going to push as hard he can to see how far he'll go!!The ref asks Holiday if he gives up. Holiday shakes his head, but he starts to slip in and out of consciousness. As he does, his arms and head start to sag. Once he goes limp, The ref does the required arm-check. Holiday's arm falls once... twice... on the third time, it stay in the air. The crowd erupts in cheers.
Chris Avery: He’s not out for good! Somehow, Holiday fought the pain and is still alive in this match!Billy: I’m shocked! I thought it was over for sure!Odin screams in disbelief as lets go of the hold, tossing Holiday to the mat. He argues with the ref for a second. The ref assures him Holiday's hand stayed up. Odin turns back and he pulls Holiday to his feet. Odin goes for an Irish whip, but Holiday holds onto the ropes. Odin charges, and Holiday drops down with the top rope in hand. Odin goes over the rope and he hits the floor hard. Holiday slowly rolls out of the ring and he goes right at Odin with hard boots to the gut. Holiday clubs Odin over the back, and then he devastates Odin with a dragon suplex onto the concrete. Holiday rests on the floor for a second. The crowd is starting to get behind him with "HOLIDAY" chants. Holiday's arm is shaking as if he's willing himself to collect all of the energy. Holiday pulls himself up. The ref is warning them to get in the ring. Holiday slowly get in the ring, and then he looks at Odin. Odin is on the outside, trying to pull himself up on one knee. Holiday looks to Odin, then to the crowd, and then he runs off the opposite ropes. He comes charging at the ropes, flies over with a suicide dive, coming down across Odin with a plancha. Both men are down, and the crowd pops. After a minute or so, Holiday starts to come to life. Holiday pulls himself up using the guardrail. He holds himself up so he can catch his breath and get his wits about him. Holiday holds his injured midsection as he walks over and he picks a limp Odin to his feet. Holiday struggles to move the big man, but he’s able to get him to the ring. Holiday slides Odin into the ring and he follows closely. Holiday hits a Savate kick right to the temple as Odin in on all fours! Holiday collapses/drapes over Odin for the pin!!
Chris Avery: SAVATE KICK! THIS COULD BE OVER!!The referee and the crowd: One...

Chris Avery: It means so much to either man to advance to the next round! Remember, their next match is against Downfall, who got a first round bye... and BOTH men want to settle up with him for good!Holiday is on all fours, staring down at Odin, who is blinking and stunned. Holiday grimaces, as if he's questioning what more he needs to do, and then he starts digging deep and pushing himself up. He grabs Odin by the hair, and starts to try to lift the big man up, only to be cut short by a throat thrust uppercut. Odin lifts Holiday up, viciously clubbing him over the back. He spins Holiday around, and then he sends Holiday crashing to the mat with a vicious chokeslam. Odin covers...

Odin sits up, running his hands through his hair and yelling loudly. He grits his teeth, angrily, and starts pulling himself and Holiday up. He sets Holiday with a jerk between his legs. He's looking for a powerbomb, but Holiday kicks his legs in midair and resists being lifted. Odin pounds on his back and tries again. He goes to lift Holiday again, but as Holiday gets up in the air he drops down behind Odin. Holiday sinks to one knee, utterly spent. Odin stands and readies himself for Holiday, who carefully stands to his feet and anticipates the charging monster. He ducks out of the way and lands a boot to the gut, hits a roll around into a Code Red bomb, and leaves Odin on his back, winded for a moment... then in one, agile, lightning quick jump he gets up on the top rope, and before Odin can move... he comes off with a 630 senton across the chest!! The crowd roars in amazement! Holiday blinks, stunned for a second.
Chris Avery: 187 TO ODIN! 187 TO ODIN! HOLIDAY IS AN EYELASH AWAY FROM BEATING THE ALL-FATHER AND ADVANCING TO THE NEXT ROUND!The referee and the crowd: ONE...

THREE - KICKOUT!
Holiday hides his face in his hands as he lays on his stomach, trying to parse what else he can do in this match. Finally, he starts getting to his feet. He pulls the bigger man up, trying to get him up in position for a stunner, but Odin pushes him off. Holiday relentlessly, getting his second wind, comes right back in, tagging Odin with right hands all before Odin can even get to his feet. Odin cuts him off with a headbutt, making Holiday stagger all the way into the corner, and then Odin explodes out of nowhere with a getting to his feet, rushing charge in to splash Holiday in the corner. Odin paces out, roaring with sudden and massive energy. He goes over to Holiday, punching him so hard Holiday's feet fly up in the air, and then he takes a limp Holiday and he begins endeavoring him up onto the top rope. Holiday offers little resistance, and Odin begins positioning him for a superplex. The two men go up the turnbuckles, and Odin looks around at the crowd before standing on the top rope. He goes to superplex Holiday off the top rope, but as he begins to peel Holiday off the top rope, Holiday converts it in midair, turning it into a botched halfway sort of crossbody, and both men land hard in a way they weren't expecting. Both men are down in the middle of the ring, and the crowd explodes at the sudden reversal.
Chris Avery: Oh! My! Both of these men are now down and out! At this point in the match anything could happen!!The referee starts counting both men out, and both men are starting to crawl around, nearly knocked insensate from the force of the collision with the mat. The referee has to make sure that both men are even capable of rational thought, but he counts...

Chris Avery: This is where we're seeing both men pushing down, digging deep to summon the will to get to their feet, because advancing to the next round means that much to them!!
Billy: I LOVE WOTY SEASON, BAYBEEE!They both climb to their feet, just beating a count of nine... and a half. Odin wobbles, a hulk on unsteady stilts, and Holiday charges towards him, surging with energy and lacing him with chops and kicks, making Odin stumble back into the ropes... Holiday turns, yelling to the crowd that this is his time, and he tunes up the band, getting ready to fire one, last, mighty Savate kick at the dazed Odin... but as he charges in, Odin CATCHES him around the throat, stopping his incoming momentum! Holiday's eyes open up wide, and Odin lifts Holiday with a mighty heave and destroys him with a chokeslam onto a backbreaker! Holiday flings off Odin's knee and falls to the mat, in a world of agony, and Odin follows him down, not able to keep his footing anymore.
Chris Avery: RAGNAROK!! RAGNAROK!!Both men are down again, and neither one moves, except Holiday does writhe and contort, holding his destroyed lower back ever so slightly... but they're both down for enough time that you might think the referee is about to start another ten-count, when Odin turns over... and grabs the leg of Holiday.

Ethan Miller: Here is your winner... ODIN BALFORE!!!"With Oden On Our Side" hits on the PA, and Odin looks up, slightly confused and dazed, but he pushes himself up on his knees, selling the fatigue of the match.
Chris Avery: Odin Balfore did it! Odin Balfore turned back a very game Doc Holiday, who brought one of his strongest efforts, I think that even outdoes his will to bring down Downfall!Billy: Boy does it, Holiday may have lost tonight, but his quest continues, he wants to prove he is a main event player here in AW, and I gotta tell ya, Avery, he really showed me something tonight!!Holiday rolls to the outside, and retreats to the aisle, staring in disbelief, and a look of shock is replaced by fury as he looks beside himself.
Chris Avery: This was one of the most amazing main events on Clash in some time, and it was a fitting way to close out the first round of the Wrestler Of The Year tournament.Odin stands triumphantly in the ring, holding his hands up and taking in the massive reaction from the crowd.
Doc is on the ramp AND..
Billy: LOOK OUT!!Sitcom SMASHES Doc from behind with the US title!!
