Memories
Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson was always pushed to be the best. He was groomed to be the greatest at everything he does. It was something that stuck with him his entire life. If he wasn't hanging with the family and playing with the dog, he was training for greatness. Mrs. Jackson continues to be his biggest fan. The 5-star athlete in high school and college he was scouted by the very best but none of them would do. He wanted to prove to himself that the best was not going to cut it. His talents needed the greatest roster put together to pose a challenge. So, as he grew in popularity Action Wrestling recognized him. It was the break he wanted and needed. However, the story of how the young man became "Big Tyme" is just starting but for now he met his mom at her house. Jimmy Jackson gave her a pair of tickets to his debut which happened to be very close to home. He got in the car and drove away.
Present Day
Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. was a venue Jimmy was familiar with. Attending some huge sporting events and concerts it was his second home so with the announcement of his signing and debuting near his childhood home was a dream come true. The weather was nice, and traffic was light. When Mr. Jackson arrived at Capital One Arena, he showed his identification as security guided him to his personal parking space. He reached into the backseat grabbing a bag and exited the vehicle. A local reporter from the Washington Post was nearby wanting to get the interview with one of Action Wrestling's newest talents. As Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson approached the entrance the reporter made his move. He was greeted by a smile and a high five of Mr. Jackson.
Washington Post Reporter: Mr. Jackson it's an honor to speak with you this evening. You are hours away from competing. I'm sure the nerves are all over the place. That being said do you feel more at ease knowing your family will be in attendance or does it add to the pressure?
Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson: It is a beautiful night for wrestling. "Big Tyme" being here live and living color is the greatest moment in sports history. Others will dispute that, but they refuse to acknowledge the truth. The red carpet had been rolled out for someone of my caliber and my family being here is nothing new. They have always supported me thick and thin. They feel my struggles and triumphs. I'm not here to make enemies nor friends. I'm here to do my job to the greatest extent possible. Life to me is not a game it is about survival. My nerves might be all over the place but trust me when the match begins, I'm calm, cool and collected. I am going to put on a show and show the entire world that "Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson has arrived and is going places.
Washington Post Reporter: Good stuff. I think I speak for everyone when I ask why Action Wrestling? You were scouted by everyone and yet choose a company that has a long-storied history instead of a newer company where you could be the future from the beginning.
Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson smiled. He leaned in looking directly at the camera.
Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson: You're right. I could have chosen any company I desired simply because I'm confident that my talent will have me at the top in no time. I've been a five-star athlete since high school and my desire for this business burns deep inside. Those who have seen me in person and scouted me knew I deserved the greatest challenge and that's what this place offers. You already mentioned the history of Action Wrestling and that's what did it for me. I want to be the greatest athlete to walk through those doors. When my career is over this company will be called Action "Big Tyme" Wrestling in dedicating to the biggest talent in the world. Don't believe me that's fine I'll let my body of work do the talking. So many talented men these days just want to run their mouth, but actions will always speak louder than words.
It was getting close to showtime as the reporter managed one more question before the rookie had to head inside.
Washington Post Reporter: Let me take a moment and ask you about the match. You are competing against a fellow Jackson. His name is Chase. Do you feel he offers you a fight worthy of your caliber?
Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson: Chase has a great last name. With a last name like that I know he is talented. However, tonight there can only be one Jackson that wins. There will be one Jackson who flies from the top crashing down on Mr. Chase and introducing him to the loss column. My mother didn't raise a chump. She didn't raise someone who accepts being second best. Chase Jackson wants me to throw the first punch and set the standard. That's what I do every day of my life. I'm never going to quit. My impact will be felt forever, and it starts tonight with Chase Jackson. I hope you bring everything you have because I'm balls to the wall crazy and very few can handle what I throw at them.
Washington Post Reporter: Thank you for giving me a few minutes of your time. Good luck tonight and hope the match steals the show.
Jimmy "Big Tyme" Jackson: Not a problem. I live for the people and love entertaining. Just sit back and enjoy "Big Tyme" doing what he does best.
He shook hands and gave a high-five as he ran to the entrance. The door swung open, and he disappeared inside as the scene slowly faded to black.
