Hardcore Championship
Holo Make vs. Downfall(c)
Adilene Floyd: The following is scheduled for ONE FALL, and it is for the AW Hardcore Championship!!The sounds of a Chinese gong, followed by some familiar guitar starts to play on the PA. "Wherever I May Roam" by Metallica begins to strum like a haunted melody. The guitar intro continues to play, but nothing else occurs.
Once the drums beat like a ritual, the lights in the arena go out. As if the haunting guitars call for spirits beyond, a series of yellow and white spotlights form up behind a figure standing on the stage. A towel shields his head from view.
The guitar continues to haunt the arena until it begins to pick-up going into the first verse. The lights return to normal and the man lifts his head, revealing Holo Make's expressionless face.
He starts to make his way down to the ring, stopping a few moments to glare holes into the audience.
Adeline Floyd: Making their way to the ring. From a Lost Island in the Pacific. Weighing in at 374 lbs. He is "The PALE RIDER"....HOLO...MAKE!All while Metallica is calling him to fight, he eventually reaches ringside, taking the steps and entering the ring. Once in, he throws his towel off and raises a fist. He stares at the hard camera, placed in the middle of the ring. Once the camera is focused on him, he lowers the fist, gesturing with his thumb in a “cutthroat” manner.
Chris Avery: Little is known about Max Daemon's enigmatic enforcer, but this week, he has said that his power comes from gods such as Kanaloa, and he is calling on all of their strength to win this fight with his bare hands!Billy: Is he... sure he wants to do that? Here? Like, not even use a stop sign or a rubber Frankenstein or something? Look, I'll go grab him a kendo stick right now, it's no problem...Chris Avery: He isn't even coming out with Max Daemon by his side, I think Holo wants to win this completely SOLO!Billy: ...I should beat you with the kendo stick just for that one.Adilene Floyd: AND HIS OPPONENT!There's a pregnant pause in the air before the lights in the arena shut down, one by one, with an audible CHOOM as each section goes dark.
Adilene Floyd: Weighing in at 217 lbs... he is the AW HARDCORE CHAMPION... THE PURVEYOR OF ANARCHY... DOWNFALL!!The crowd sits in unsteady, uncomfortable silence there, in the dark, for a full thirty seconds, before a blazing neon-red Anarchy symbol appears on the tron, which then transitions into the symbol becoming the A in Downfall's name. Then, as the jumbotron begins playing images of shots of Downfall hitting various kicks and signature moves that flicker with strobelight-jerkiness, a synthesizer track and rising, discordant wailing begins, before Trent Reznor's distinct voice comes in, launching into the intro to "The Becoming".
"I beat my machine
It's a part of me, it's inside of me...
I'm stuck in this dream,
It's changing me,
I am becoming...
The me that you know, he had some second thoughts
He's covered with scabs,
He is broken and sore,
The me that you know, he doesn't come around much
That part of me...
Isn't here anymore..."
As the music reaches a cacophonous high point in "The Becoming", Downfall's head is bowed, and he kneels one knee on the stage, tracing the fingers of his right hand across the ramp, then he slowly raises his head to look at the ring. In his left hand, he is carrying a long, curved, black iron crowbar... and, to chilling effect, as Downfall stands, he looks at the crowbar. The arena lights brighten, and then, he begins his walk down to the ring, holding his arms out to take in the reaction of the crowd. The crowd, some put off by his newer, more aggressive demeanor and the presence of the crowbar in his hand, boo, but there are still some, hoping for him to listen to his better angels, that cheer. He cracks his neck to the side in an aggressive manner and defiantly raising the crowbar, clenched tightly in one fist. Then, he goes around to the ring, pacing over to climb on the apron, and he takes just a moment to breathe it in as he rests a leg on the ropes themselves, before pacing to the turnbuckles and ascending, quickly, to the second rope, crossing his wrists in an X.
He hops down, shrugging out of his tattered leathers, and laying the crowbar down in the corner, circles the ring like a shark, tensely pulling on the top rope to stretch.
Chris Avery: Downfall has been through rigorous wars as of late, against Joey Scala and Dionysus... His evocative, violent blood feud with Dion spilled out into a contest that saw glass, steel, and even FIRE! And now, only a few short weeks removed from that, Downfall has to defend the Hardcore title AGAIN, against a nearly 400 pound monster in Holo Make, all while contending with still having his leg taped up from a severe burn inflicted by Dionysus!Billy: When you put it that way, when you look in his eyes, you don't see Downfall as the one who feels he's at a disadvantage here. The way he's glaring across the ring at Holo, you get the feeling that the big man is the one in trouble!Downfall and Holo stare one another down as the ref calls for the bell. This match begins and Holo starts to circle Downfall. Downfall holds his hands up, calling for a test of strength and Holo looks as flabbergasted at this "confident" human who is just a man is sincerely trying to match his strength. Holo smiles evilly and steps forward raising his own hands. He locks hands with Downfall and immediately puts pressure on the smaller man’s wrists and begins to drive him down. Downfall, however, raises one foot and punts Holo in the groin dropping the larger man to his knees! Holo groans and holds his jewels, but Downfall follows this feint up with a few hard right elbow shots, followed by a couple knees to the midsection, and once Holo was doubled over, Downfall laces him over the back with a trio of double ax handle smashes that flattens the Pale Rider onto the mat. Downfall snaps a few boots onto Holo's head and neck area before he goes for a wince-inducingly snug elbow to the neck of Holo. Downfall picks Holo up and tosses him through the ropes, where Holo lands on the outside floor hard. Downfall follows, wrapping his arm around Holo with a headlock while hammering away with a few punches that leaves the big man dazed. Downfall bends over and wraps his arms around Holo's waist before driving him backwards into the barricade! Holo falls on his knees, clearly hurt, before Downfall jerks him back to the feet before whipping him towards the steel steps which dislodges from the force as Holo does a front flip flat onto his back. Now Downfall turns a cocky grin to the crowd, and he calls out "No, seriously, bring Daemon out here, give me something real to pound on."
Chris Avery: Downfall is showing a side we haven't seen in some time... not just vicious and sadistic, but arrogant and treating his opponent as if he's nothing.Billy: WHICH IS PERFECTLY IN CHARACTER FOR HIM, OKAY?Now Downfall goes to muscle up the 374-pounder, but Holo's bulk and his own heavily wrapped leg conspire to make him buckle just a bit, and Downfall stumbles, gritting his teeth and perhaps regretting his shit talk. Holo nails Downfall with a jab to the throat that makes Downfall stumble away, and Holo picks his way to his feet. Downfall comes towards him, and now it's Holo's turn to drive a shoulder into Downfall's midsection, roar like a bull, and charge forward, dashing him into the apron. Downfall groans and holds his lower back. Holo rolls Downfall into the ring, but Downfall is already rolling over, holding his lower back. Now Holo gets back in the ring, advancing on Downfall with his arms out. Downfall slips away under his arms and begins lighting Holo's legs up with kicks. He sweeps around his side and kicks him in the hamstring several times. Finally, though, Holo catches Downfall's leg, puts his hand on his chest and throws him down to the mat with force. Downfall quickly gets to his feet, and Holo whips him to the ropes and on the return drops him with a back body drop. Downfall gets to his feet and takes a discus clothesline, then as he gets back up he is hit with a back elbow. Downfall gets to his feet holding his back and Holo lifts him up with a military press, and he drops him face first on the canvas. Downfall gets to his feet one more time. Holo runs at him for a clothesline, but Downfall ducks under it and begins firing away with forearm shots to the face, and mixing in a few straight kicks to the midesction. He walks Holo over to the turnbuckle and goes to slam his face into it, but Holo overpowers him and elbows him off. Downfall backs off, holding his face, and Holo explodes out of the corner with a clothesline.
Chris Avery: Holo is laying right into the champion, and showing that he may not even need a weapon, he is a weapon!Holo drags Downfall over by an arm, attempting a Samoan favorite, a banzai drop as he begins scaling the second rope with Downfall prone under him, but Downfall comes alive, clubbing Holo in the kidney. Holo bends to his side and steps down a rung. Downfall takes a couple more shots at Holo before hitting a box jump that beggars belief, bringing Holo back down with an amazing reverse neckbreaker, pulling Holo right off the second rope and to the mat! Holo winces and grips at his neck, but Downfall, still feeling it, gets back to his feet, and Holo rolls over, gripping at his neck in pain. Downfall in response, damn near tears Holo’s head off with a savage clothesline. Holo topples over on his back. Downfall rolls out to the ropes, rolling out and retrieving a chair and then getting back in the ring with it. Downfall sets it down open with the steel bar up against Holo’s throat... and then, Downfall bounces off the far ropes and comes flying off with a somersault which he looks to land on the chair, but Holo snaps the chair shut and as Downfall is flying in to him, Holo CHUCKS the chair right into him, connecting with a sound like a metal pan hitting and dropping Downfall hardcore. A few fans even point out the influence and chant for E-C-DUB, but most of the crowd are getting on their feet.
Chris Avery: Downfall is doing everything he can to keep the pace fast and furious, but his injured leg is slowing him down, and - OH!! What a hit, right out of midair!!Holo is on his feet now with an angry look on his face. He heads over to Downfall and lays him out with a swinging neckbreaker! Downfall drops hard to the canvas. Holo waits for Downfall to get up and lands a left to the stomach that doubles him over and a right to the jaw that sends him stumbling to the corner. Holo picks up the steel chair and waffles Downfall with it! Downfall slides down in the corner. Holo grabs the ropes and puts his foot against Downfall’s throat, choking him out violently. Holo then lifts Downfall up, using his superhuman strength to push Downfall into the corner and maul him with right hands pushing Downfall chin all the way back. Then, Holo squashes him with a few hard elbow shots. Holo paces over, grabbing the steel chair, and he wedges it into the opposite corner turnbuckles, between the top and middle rope, so it's a solid sheet. Holo walks over, grabs Downfall's arm, and goes to whip him into the corner with the wedged in steel chair, but instead of throwing him into the chair, at the last second, Downfall stops himself, putting the brakes on with his hands gripping the top ropes and his foot against the pad. Holo, being all forward momentum, charges into the corner, looking to spear Downfall. Instead, Downfall performs his best "Ole!" and spins out of the corner just in time. Holo goes charging in and collides the hard way with the steel chair wedged between the turnbuckles, and keeps going, hitting the steel ringpost. It is a sound and visual that makes the crowd at ringside wince and give an "OOOOOOOH". And possibly makes the ring shift about 5 inches to the west.
Chris Avery: Jesus Christ!!Billy: Holo got a little too overzealous there!!Downfall doesn't let Holo even get out of the corner, he's on him with harsh kicks to the arm, stretching it out. Holo tries to push Downfall off with his non-injured shoulder. He turns back to Holo and pulls him back to his feet before throwing him towards the ropes again. This time, when Holo comes back, he grabs Downfall's wrist and uses his own momentum to reverse the irish whip, sending Downfall into the ropes. Downfall comes back to meet a knee to the gut that doubles him over and drops him to one knee. Holo snatches him back up and turns Downfall up onto his shoulders before performing a running release powerbomb! He throws Downfall into the turnbuckles, but he hits it at such a high point that Downfall bounces off the top turnbuckle, over the top ropes, where he lands on the ground below! Downfall's lower back immediately changes colors in the HUD there, at least metaphorically.
Billy: You know, if this laconic, mysterious, weird Pacific Islander who thinks he's been chosen to be the avatar of a god gimmick doesn't end up working for him, Holo has a bright future in chiropractic arts, because, seriously, ouch.Chris Avery: DOWNFALL MIGHT BE BROKEN!!Holo grimaces and rolls his arm in a circle on the mat, before going out and trying to pick up Downfall, who is limp for a moment. Holo rears back and lands a stiff punch that makes Downfall flop around and fall to the apron, blinking and stunned, the Hardcore champ has been burning the candle (so to speak) at both ends with these title defenses and it's catching up. Holo, meanwhile, is being his methodical, pacing self, and he lands another stiff shot to the back of the head. Then, he scoops Downfall up and gives him a backdrop onto the apron, the hardest part of the ring! Downfall arches his back in pain. Now, Holo, seizing the opportunity to do some real damage, takes the heavily-wrapped leg of Downfall that was burned by the torch and he lays it over his neck, lifting Downfall off the apron into the aisle in a stretch muffler hold and bouncing Downfall up and down on his shoulders! Downfall screams in agony as Holo works the injured leg, but he isn't tapping out. Holo hurls Downfall off his shoulder, and Downfall lays on his stomach, clenching his teeth and holding the burned leg. Holo comes forward and boots him in the face, then picks Downfall up. Downfall can barely put weight on that leg. Suddenly, Downfall breaks free, grips the head of Holo and pulls him in, furiously comes in with a savage, animalistic bite right to the cheek meat! Holo screams as Downfall's teeth bear down as if he's trying to draw blood, and Holo punches, shoves and does everything he can to break the bite off; Downfall releases the bite, but he kicks Holo right in the kneecap and slings him into the ringpost! Holo bounces off of it and does a twirl. Downfall spits out a few times, as if there were any Holo chunks he didn't want to swallow. Now, determined to grit through the pain, Downfall hobbles over, picking the chair from earlier up and opening it and setting it up in the corner. Holo grabs the apron and purchase on the ground, and Downfall fucking stomps right on his hand. Holo yells in pain and flings his fingers a bit, and Downfall lifts him up, bringing his teeth in for another savage bite right at the hairline! Holo yells again and tries to push Downfall off. Downfall lifts Holo up, and sits him in the unfolded chair, in a corner intersection between two guardrail sections... Downfall paces back about ten steps, lifts his burned leg and kicks it out a few times, and, despite the obvious pain of doing so, he charges in and gives Holo a Yakuza kick that plows right through him, making Holo's head bobble like a bobblehead, and Downfall continues forward just a bit, his leg going into the front row! Downfall is in obvious agony from the Yakuza kick spot as he rests there, but he takes both hands on the leg and pulls it back out to the floor with effort, and Holo slumps out of the chair on dream street, falling to the floor.
Chris Avery: Downfall's leg is hardly at 100%, but he has said himself that he's going to ride this until the proverbial wheels fall off!Billy: And even then, I have no doubt that that psycho is going to keep going, like in the cartoons where a man's car meets a series of misadventures and gets trashed piece by piece until he keeps riding around on a single wheel like a unicycle!!Pushing himself to keep fighting despite the blinding pain in his leg, Downfall begins tearing up the ringside area, picking up steel chair after steel chair from under the ring apron. He throws them like a frisbee so that they land on top of the prone Holo's corpse and then when Holo already has three steel chairs stacked on his upper torso and shoulders Downfall Downfall comes over with the previous steel chair, making sure to slam it down on top of Holo's face. Then Downfall gets a few steps back and runs in, does a hop and then DOUBLE FOOT STOMPS the steel chairs stacked on Holo's torso! Holo groans, and just for good measure Downfall backs up and drops the bad knee across the head of Holo in the aisle, and then Downfall rolls over, knowing he's damaging the burned leg worse, but even more determined to fuck Holo Make up. The jovial mockery and arrogant attitude of Downfall have disappeared, turning into just pure determination. Downfall is able to lift the big man and he holds him in a front facelock. Using all of his strength he pushes one leg up, and then rolls him into the ring. Holo is still loopy. Downfall, complaining and groaning about Holo's fat ass, pushes Holo into the ring, rolls him over, and he climbs in after him. He lays a steel chair on top of his face, and Downfall gets on the apron and vaults over the top rope where he lands on the steel chair driving it into Holo’s face with a senton! Holo sits up in a hurry and then collapses back to the canvas! Downfall goes for a cover!

Two... Kickout
Downfall gets up, and he begins immediately stomping and dropping a knee (not the bad one this time) on the arm of Holo. Then, Downfall bends the wrist back so that it's placed against the mat in a figure four... and he hauls off and stomps on it, making Holo's wrist twist in a direction it shouldn't go. Holo yells in pain, and Downfall shouts "Pray to your fucking gods, I don't hear you praying!!" which prompts a chorus of boos. Now, Downfall goes back outside, flipping the apron up, and coming out with a trash can full of kendo sticks, and a steel chair. He leaves the trash can full of kendo sticks, but he does take the chair, and as Holo gets up, holding his arm. Downfall tosses him the chair. Downfall charges Holo, looking to big boot the chair into Holo's face, but Holo ducks out of the way. Downfall turns around, and Holo tosses the chair back to him. Suddenly, Holo spears Downfall, and the impact smashes the chair back into Downfall's face!
Chris Avery: I've never seen a game of musical chairs played that way!!Holo tries to push himself up on all fours after the impact, but sinks to one knee, dazed, and the Pale Rider begins to grit his teeth. He knows in his heart that all he needs is the power and conviction of the gods. But he feels himself truly being tested here. Holo goes to the apron. He pulls out a hockey stick and slides that into the ring, and then he picks up a trashcan lid and slides it in. He picks out a toaster, and tilts his head, mouthing "What the fuck?" but then shrugs and tosses it in the ring. He climbs in the ring. As he climbs in, Downfall begins getting to his feet. Holo gives him a big right hand, knocking him back into the corner. Holo begins stomping Downfall viciously down into the corner, and Downfall slumps in a seated position. Holo begins pounding on Downfall's forehead with mounted right hands. He picks up the trashcan lid and smacks it over Downfall's head with force. He backs up, picks up the steel chair and walks back into the corner. He wedges the chair into the corner between the ropes in front of Downfall's face, and then he paces out to the middle of the ring, then he runs in with a delayed dropkick right into the face, smashing it into Downfall! The crowd pops at the big man's athleticism. Amid the dented steel, Downfall lays, his eyes open wide and glazed... Holo lifts him up, and walks him over to where he slid the toaster. He gives Downfall a faceplant onto the side of the toaster, denting it. Holo lifts Downfall up, wrapping his arms around him and giving him an overhead belly to belly suplex. Downfall gets to his feet, holding his lower back, and as he gets up Holo cracks him in the gut with the hockey stick. Downfall is doubled over, holding his gut, and then Holo brings the hockey stick down across his back, hard enough to break the hockey stick! Downfall arches his back and yells in pain, sinking down to his knees. Downfall gets up, holding his back, and Holo gives him a right hand, knocking him against the ropes. Holo positions Downfall under the middle rope, then pulls him up as he grips back on his chin, and he digs his knee into Downfall's back in the process, exerting a lot of pressure on Downfall's back as he pulls Downfall across the top and middle rope. Holo, finally, says fuck this, when he sees the choke isn't getting anywhere. Downfall screams in pain. Holo pulls Downfall down against the steel post as he climbs out, and he grabs on of Downfall's arms and Downfall's heavily-wrapped burn leg, positioning Downfall back first against the post. Holo pulls back with all his considerable might, and Downfall begins screaming loudly in pain.
Chris Avery: Holo is doing everything he can to disable the Hardcore champ, he's going to unprecedented levels of brutality!Billy: We never even saw Max Daemon get this fucked up, and nobody, not even Downfall, saw Holo as anything other than Daemon's lackey!Downfall is released and he rolls back into the middle of the ring, holding onto his back. Holo paces over to the steel steps and begins taking them apart piece by piece, and throwing them into the ring. He climbs inside and picks up a section of steel steps. Downfall begins getting to one knee. Holo runs forward and slams the steel steps into Downfall, with a resounding noise of metal meeting his skull, taking him down. The crowd responds with an "Ooooh!" at the impact. Holo throws the steps away from him with an angry shout, and then he goes for a cover.

Thre - Kickout.
Holo slams his hands on the mat in outrage, and he gets to his feet, angrily stalking the referee. The referee tells him that Downfall kicked out fairly, but Holo starts going red in the face. Also red in the face is Downfall, who has a busted open cut on his forehead from the impact with the steel. Holo goes back to Downfall, who is flailing around and stumbling on his knees, and Holo clubs him over the head pulls out a Polynesian wrestler favorite, an iron claw to the trapezius muscle! Downfall yells and tries to pry the fingers loose from where they're digging into the bundle of nerves, but Holo bears down on the nerve hold right at his shoulder. Downfall scoots around, trying to gain purchase, and then, he spots the steel ring step section in front of him, and he turns around, kicking Holo in the kneecap and making him not only release the nerve hold, but fall forward like a tree, and Holo falls face first onto the steel steps, hitting with a loud bang! Now Downfall grimaces, trying to regain some feeling in his shoulder and arm which had gone numb. Holo, himself, is blinking, stunned, and several cuts opened up on his forehead. Holo stumbles to his feet, trying to push the steps out of his way and pick Downfall up... but Downfall counters into a flatliner to the mat, and, reaching up to pull the burned leg into position around Holo's large cranium, Downfall locks the burned leg around Holo's throat and holds there with both hands in a Koji clutch!! Holo's eyes bug out of his head, and man, so do Downfall's, applying this hold on a wounded leg!
Chris Avery: Downfall is fighting back with one leg! He's applying pressure directly on the burn!!Billy: But he's choking the big man out!! This is the craziest, sadomasochist MF alive!!Several long seconds drift by in the hold, but Holo appears to be fading. The crowd is starting a "Yes" chant. Holo's hand flails in the air, but his movements are sluggish. Downfall bobs his head, his wet hair falling into his eyes and he barks for Holo to tap, and he forces the burned leg to pull back under the throat tighter. The referee asks Holo if he gives up, but Holo, trying to blink and stay cognizant, groans no despite a lack of vital oxygen... finally, Holo's flailing hand comes in, and pounds the burned leg of Downfall, making Downfall grimace... and Holo pounds the burned leg again, and then again quicker and with more intensity! Over and over again, until Downfall cannot ignore his leg screaming at him, and he lets both hands go and uncoils the leg from around Holo's throat, and Holo's head sinks to the mat as he takes big, gasping lungfuls; Downfall groans and holds his bad leg, trying to push himself up on one side as he massages the wrapped limb.
Chris Avery: You know that Max Daemon is watching this one with interest! You know he wants the Dirge to be a force to be reckoned with!Billy: Where is Holo getting the will to fight it out with one of the deadliest shooters in AW? Did he pray to Moana??Both men slowly make it to their feet, but Downfall's quick hits aren't as effective as he is having trouble planting his right leg. Holo isn't having that problem and fires off a succession of right hands, making Downfall stagger back. Holo catches his breath for a second, and then he backs up to the ropes and charges at Downfall, but Downfall catches him and takes him down with a drop toehold. Downfall immediately tries to wrench the arm, if not to set up for the Bad Wolf, then just to twist it into an armbar. He drives a rapid series of elbow strikes into the back of the triceps, before applying a Lebell lock as best he can while favoring one leg. Holo groans as the Bad Wolf's bite starts to dig in, and his face is starting to turn red. He reaches for the ropes, but he can't get them. He lets out a yell of effort as he pulls himself up to his knees with Downfall on his back, then, with Downfall still hanging on his back, he gets to his feet and runs forward at top speed, then he squashes Downfall in the corner. Downfall loosens his grip, and Holo gives him a few back elbows. He gives Downfall a right hand, then another, then finally he gives him a big right that makes Downfall drop limply into the corner. Holo pulls Downfall out and hits a backbreaker, then he rests. Holo pulls Downfall up and he whips him to the ropes, ducking his head and looking for a back body drop. Downfall scouts it and kicks Holo in the face just before he gets to him. Holo stumbles back, and Downfall runs off the opposite ropes. As Downfall reaches Holo this time... Holo ca-RUSHES him with a spinning side slam!
Chris Avery: CALL TO KANE!!Holo pins!

Thre - Kickout!!
Holo rolls over in shock, the facials selling 100/10 bro brooo lmaoskfh, and he looks over at Downfall, in utter disbelief at this arrogant punk has defied the will of the gods. Sneering, Holo goes to lift Downfall up, pie-facing him and shoving him and saying "You are just a man, you can bleed, you can die!" and grinding his heel on Downfall's burned leg. As Holo stands over Downfall, stomping on his burned leg with malice, Downfall, in exaggerated, comedically timed slow motion, drives his arm up into the crotch of Holo, savaging his jewels with an uppercut right to the groin. Holo's eyes shoot open wide in agony, and he doubles over, coughing and holding his groin. Downfall sells the pain in his leg for a moment, because it's so deep in the red on that aforementioned metaphorical HUD that it's probably purple like, well, a third degree burn, and he is rolling and contorting on the ground for a second, but then he grits his teeth roughly and recovers. The Purveyor of Anarchy rolls out of the ring and grabs the steel trash can, heaving it into the ring and spilling it's remaining contents. Downfall pulls himself into the ring. Holo starts picking himself up, and as he gets up Downfall is, amazingly, able to grapple him and fire off a snap dragon suplex right onto the metal trash can, denting it's sides in and making Holo yell in agony as he's laid out among the ruins, holding his neck!
Chris Avery: HOW DID HE DO IT?? HOW DID HE FIRE OFF AN EDEN'S DEMISE ON THE 375 POUNDER??Billy: INTO THE TRASH CAN!! ON ONE LEG!!!Now Downfall motions that it's over, and he slowly and dramatically points to the crowbar he places under the bottom ropes. Downfall, favoring his leg, nonetheless goes over and picks up his crowbar, and he makes a throat slashing motion with it, measuring Holo, who is just starting to roll out of the ruins of the flattened trashcan. Downfall measures Holo just as he gets up, and as Holo turns around, Downfall runs at him, but Holo nails a savate kick with such force that it drops them both! The crowbar flips out of Downfall's hands and falls to the mat! Holo pushes himself up, looking shell-shocked, but Downfall's head and shoulders just spasm! Now Holo is the one who has to push himself past the limits of his body using his will, gritting his teeth and slapping the mat to drive himself forward as he gets up! Holo, who fights through and pulls Downfall seated into the corner against the bottom turnbuckle, then he backs up to the opposite side of the ring, yelling something in his language before coming in and nailing the prone Downfall with that favorite among Pacific Islander wrestlers, a running hip attack so harsh that it makes the crowd at ringside give an "OOOOOH"! Holo, all of his adrenaline spent, rolls Downfall out of the corner for the cover...
Chris Avery: And this might be his chance, Billy! Holo just nailed the champ with one of the most shocking instances of blunt force trauma in recent memory with that Call to Kanaloa!Billy: You telling me a blunt forced that trauma?Chris Avery: WE MIGHT HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!!!The referee: One...

Three - Kickout!!
Holo rolls off of Downfall with wild eyes, and runs his hands over his face, in absolute disbelief and questioning to the gods what more he can do to put the champion down. Holo's faith is taking a serious challenge here, as he is having trouble standing, but he sees Downfall, who is already rolling over, despite the obvious pain he's in. Downfall collapses to the mat, but is trying to crawl over and grab his crowbar. He tries to get to one knee, but it's his bad one and he sinks down on one side with a yell. He has to grab the crowbar and use it to prop him up from a base. Holo is using the ropes to push himself up... but seeing this arrogant, defiant man still mocking him by continuing to get up, something in him snaps, and determines to put Downfall down for good, to make him pay for his intransigence. Holo shouts a few phrases not in English, and slaps himself in the face, getting fired up like he's performing a haka, and motioning for Downfall to get up. Downfall uses the crowbar as a crutch to hold him up on his bad leg and tries pushing himself up while Holo measures him... and Holo charges, waiting for Downfall to turn around to give him a charging headbutt to the chest, attempting to even leave his feet to gain more momentum.. but as he reaches a specific area of effect, he enters right into perfect position for Downfall to connect with a vicious superkick right to the jaw!! Downfall, unable to sustain standing on the burned leg anymore, falls to one side, but Holo, stunned, falls to the other!
Chris Avery: HOLO IS CALLING FOR AINA I K- NOOO!!! DOWNFALL WITH THE BEAST KICK!!!Billy: Man, really saved your ass from trying to pronounce that one, didn't it?Both competitors are down, as Downfall groans, contorting and holding his leg, for several long seconds, neither one is able to capitalize. As Holo begins to stir, Downfall desperately tries to put weight on his leg. As Holo approaches, he attempts a clothesline but Downfall goes to his midsection with the crowbar! Holo yells in pain as he’s double over and Downfall strikes down with the crowbar again on the back of Holo’s head!
Chris Avery: Oh my god! Holo has to be out cold!Downfall fixes the crowbar across the face of Holo and wrenches back in a modified version of his crowbar-assisted Bad Wolf! The referee checks Holo and he’s out! He rings the bell!
DING DING DINGAdilene Floyd: Here is your winner…AND STILL Hardcore Champion! Downfall!Chris Avery: Another brutal win by Downfall!Billy: Who can stop his path of destruction?!Downfall is given the AW Hardcore Championship belt as he gingerly stands, looking down at Holo Make with disgust.
