New Opportunity, New You.
A chair sits in the middle of a non-descript room with a single light shining above it providing the only light. Footsteps can be heard echoing off of the wooden slats that create the esthetic flooring for the room. After a moment Alister walks in frame of the camera as he walks over to the chair and takes a seat. He brushes his Tatiana Jolee shirt making sure it is plainly seen by the camera, as he continues to adjust to a comfortable position in the chair. He turns his head and coughs to clear his through before looking into the camera.
Chase my friend! How are you? I am so excited about this week, you’ve put on some real work around here, but I haven’t… exactly seen you around in almost a month. Has everything been ok with you? Usually, people in our industry don’t just disappear, just worried is all. So, I was extremely happy to see you on the card against me, and for another shot at another championship, the CBS this time, one I know neither of us have held yet. I do say yet, because I have no doubt that at some point you too will hold that championship. Your reputation is not beyond me, I know of the two opportunities you’ve had and successfully have found yourself being called champion. You know more than I do about what it takes to become a champion around here. I’m not saying that in some cowering bowing down sort of way, but more of the acknowledgment of who I am going through to become a champion myself. You’ve been doing this a long time, and I am excited to learn from someone as experienced as you. Once people called you the Omega and Television champion, now they just call you Chase Jackson. I’m sure you and everyone else can quickly throw up a banger of a Chase Jackson match out. One that changed careers, but not yours unfortunately, you had a tendency to lose those matches, as great as they are. I’m sure someone would call me cocky, but I see the exact same thing happening.
A solid and well fought out match between the two of us sure, I’m expecting it. I recently said from this moment on, every week will be a championship match, and that’s the mindset that I am going into this week once again. In doing so the bosses have graced me with another opportunity to find gold for myself, but this time in the way of CBS championship. That is the champion who is representing the network, does all those social events, sounds like something I would enjoy. And in the spirit of constant growth, lets focus that down to, I am the CBS Champion. Now it has a name, a focus, now I can show the lessons I’ve learned with my failed attempts at the US Championship; because you know this is a whole new game. I am quickly making a name for myself as a workhorse of Action Wrestling, I don’t take weeks off, the only time I have missed was forced by a doctor. Maybe I don’t have the luxury like you do Chase, well earned as it is, I could never see myself being part of a company and taking off several weeks off like that. Maybe I’m wrong, I hope I am, and maybe you’re just so good you don’t need to work all the time. There are those out here that are like that, but your last match was against someone I’ve beaten twice, and someone who was never in the US Championship since I’ve been around.
I’ll go out on a limb and guess the calls aren’t coming as frequent as they used to? That is unfortunate and I hope after this week the show we put on, that changes. I would hate it if you went back out for another 4 month break. Like I said, I am the CBS Champion, and this week that championship is on the line. If I believe that, if I fight like that, then one day that will be true, and it’s my job to make that come true. Unlike some of my opponents, having to go through you for all of this doesn’t make me necessarily happy, its just a matter of fact. Another one is, when I do beat you, you wouldn’t even be the most successful former champion I have beaten. This may all sound cocky, arrogant, but you have to be sure of yourself in order to be a champion. Confidence being the thing I’ve struggled with; I think that it’s showed in past opportunities. Holden Ross helped me to find mine, and I’m not one to waste a gift. So now I give absolutely everything, every week, no matter who it is. Chase, you’re just the next guy, and though this match is something I’m looking forward to, I am going to do everything I have to in order to face the champion.
I’ve had the carrot dangled to many times for me to just let another one pass me by. This industry is everything to me, as long as I am in Action Wrestling, this company is everything to me, and you are not the one to take that away from me. I do look forward to the test that you will present to me, but a test is all you will be.

He looks into the camera and nods as he stands up, brushes his shirt straight once more, and walks off in the same direction that he entered in, as the footsteps begin to trail off.
