“A true competitor is someone who COMPETES and how many on the roster do YOU see who knows what it means to show up to actually compete? It’s sad, but CruiserHavoc is a gift from Joey Bunga to every person on our roster, be it someone who was here for a hot second waiting for the ink to dry on their contracts, having ZERO idea of what this match entails, leaning into pure HOPE that this could be their chance like a participation trophy recipient who says they showed up, so they deserve recognition… Or how about those faces from the past who think this is their chance to grab that spotlight one more time on OUR DIME. It sounds nice on paper and Bunga is going to look good leading into CruiserHavoc throwing out a beacon of hope for so many, but the fact of the matter is, there’s only a handful of us who can go the distance. Why do you think so many of us were wanting that final spot? We’re not fools, we know The Dreamer is now sitting in a sweet spot to play cleanup crew, but he’s going to get lost in the dream of being the ONE to finally win it all coming out last, because not a soul has done it before… He’s not built for it, though. Dorian is cunning and he can make people BELIEVE, but I promise you this, I will be the ONE to take Dorian Bateman out of CruiserHavoc… I will be the ONE to walk into El Dorado and leave with GOLD one way or another…”
A slight smirk of confidence crosses Lazaro’s lips.
“To all of those newcomers, let me tell you this… Not many people can say they made their debut at Havoc, but I can and that night I stopped time by defying gravity and showcasing LUCHA for the entire world to see. The flash bulbs went off and the social media was buzzing. I made a moment and now we are here… You can speak of being hungry, but you’ll never be as hungry as me, perros. I got just a taste of Havoc and now, I get to battle in a CruiserHavoc for the 1st time and if you thought me defying gravity was spectacular then, you won’t believe your eyes in what I have planned for OUR show.”
Lazaro rubs his chin for thought.
“What is it going to take? That’s the ONE question that participants old and new alike will be asking themselves… What is it going to take to get the job done? This is going to be a game of SURVIVAL and finding yourself on the winning end of eliminations… It’s as straightforward as that. We will have Teo Blaze out to prove that he was robbed of the Cruiserweight title because of Serenity’s papi and Serenity will be out to prove that her win wasn’t some tainted achievement. Karlie will fight for relevance along with the failed return of Aphriya. Hotaka will fight for his honor as the returning Keeton is going to demand that he is something special because he held the Cruiserweight title before… But what has he done lately? Too many participants in this match are going to come out proclaiming their intention to win, but they forget it takes more than saying your going to win, YOU HAVE TO BACK IT UP IN THE RING. You see, every match I’ve battled in, I’ve said I was going to El Dorado and I’m going to fulfill my destiny. I’ve never steered away from that fact. I speak with perseverance and it will be no different at CruiserHavoc… The only difference is, I WILL walk out with Gold and YOUR NEW CRUISERHAVOC WINNER!”
