**--The scene opens up with a close-up on Jonny who’s sitting at his desk, writing something in a ledger. He voices over the scene as he reads what he’s writing--**
(I got a win over Allister McKissick last week. So there’s that. Then later in the show I finally made official what everybody pretty much already knew; I joined King Shit! Even got a cool shirt and everything! With Spencer doing huge things, he and CJ being the Tag Team Champions forever and ever, I’m starting to punch into the upper tier of Action Wrestling – King Shit will be unstoppable…from top to bottom!
But at what cost? Yeah, I’m making my way into the top tier, but at what cost?! An argument can be made about how you have to fall so you can learn how to pick yourself up. You may fall once. You may fall a thousand times. No matter how many times you fall you have to keep getting back up. You’ll start learning what you’re doing wrong then before you know it the amount of times that you fall will diminish and the time between falling will grow and – bada bing – you’ll be standing upright no matter what life throws at ya and you’ll be a success!!
I’ve had my fair share of falls as my first year in Action Wrestling is wrapping up. There’s no doubt about that. I’m actually quite embarrassed of all the falls I’ve had but each fall has taught me something. That’s what they’re intended for. The main thing that bothers me about all of those falls though is that I’ve been in this business for too long to be falling as many times as I have – or at least that’s the way I feel! Fifteen years is a long time and a lot of experience to be falling as many times as I have this year. Especially with the amount of success I’ve had in the past! A former World Champion and a Hall of Famer. How’d I go from that to…wherever I’m at right now? It’s astonishing to tell the truth.
Eh but it is what it is. It just means that I have to adapt and overcome! The talent is entirely different than it was fifteen years ago. Things change. Things evolve and leaves you behind if you don’t evolve along with them. If I’ve learned anything it’s the fact that I have to evolve or be left behind. I’ll be damned if I’m gonna be left behind by anybody! I’m gonna do anything and everything that I have to do in order to make it to the top of Action Wrestling like my life depends on it.
Who am I kidding? It does depend on it! I live for this business! It’s my lifeblood! I eat, breathe and bleed this business! I only live to be the best and dammit that’s exactly what I’m gonna be! I’m gonna step on any and all stepping stones that I have to in order to achieve that goal! No matter who they throw in front of me I leave nothing in my wake but scorched earth! I have to destroy my opponents in order to get what I want? Then that’s exactly what I’m gonna do! No ifs, ands or buts about it! The fire, the passion, the hunger burning inside me is so hot and so bright you can actually see it in my eyes. I’ve had a taste of Gold in Action Wrestling. I was Hardcore Champion for a time. But I lost it. I didn’t have that killer instinct. If that’s what it takes to get what I want then I’m just gonna have to let that killer loose. But am I able to harness it? Will I go too far like I did on Stevie Dreams? Which Jonny Cedrone will ya get? Hm. Sounds like a fun game to play doesn’t it?
Recently I’ve had some fabulous success in Action Wrestling. CJ, Spencer and I won the Trios Championship Trophies, beating some of the best competition in the business today! But it was followed by some not-so-fabulous-success. It was followed by no success at all! I was awarded another golden opportunity but like so many other opportunities in the past, I blew it. I didn’t succeed in cashing in on that opportunity and becoming the number one contender to the US Championship. I failed. But just last week I was able to get back into the win column with a win over Allister McKissick. A fantastic wrestler with a future in Action Wrestling as bright as a million suns!
This week’s a little different. This week is a fatal four way match. Those are always fun. I’ve only faced one of the opponents in the past. Tommy…er uh…Roman Gunn. I kicked his ass before, I’ll kick it again! A former CBS Champion, he’s big and bad – or at least he likes to think he is – but he ain’t shit. I have absolutely no problem with showing him that I’m still better than him in that ring. Whether it’s a wrestling match or a fight, he doesn’t hold a candle to me and I’ll show him just that…again.
Regan Voorhees. What? Is she supposed to be a relative of Jason Voorhees or something? She’s a bratty multi-millionaire who inherited her money from her family’s slaughterhouse. She detests and refuses to eat meat but has zero problems with taking money from such a “vile” occupation. Makes sense. Whenever she doesn’t get her way, she gets pissed off and pouty and lashes out in a fit of rage that Harley Quinn would be proud of! People have been hurt and people have bled by her little psychotic hands! Everybody’s hungry in their own way and she’s no exception to that rule. She’s had the taste of Championship gold in the past as she’s a three-time Cruiserweight Champion! I have a feeling that she’d maim to get what she wants and to move up in the roster. I respect that. In return though, she needs to expect it from me!
Then we have a Mr. Sam Kidsgrove! An actor of all things huh? Eh. Things have been weirder in this business, that’s for sure! He’s certainly not the first actor/wrestler to have ever graced the squared circle and I’d venture to bet that he won’t be the last! If I were to tell you that I know a ton about the man, I’d be lyin’ to ya! I only know what I know because of his biography in the Action Wrestling archives. One helluva story! A former tag team Champion, former four-time US Champion himself, he absolutely has a resume fitting to be considered one of the absolute best this business has to offer! The question is just how hungry is he? Is that desire to become US Champion again – or even the World Champion – still burning within him? We’ll be sure to find out Monday night.
The issue for the three people that I’m facing Monday night is the fact that I’m hungry – hell, I’m starving – to move up the ranks; to become US Champion; to become World Champion. Where I’m at right now, though I’m appreciative of where I’m at and who I’m partnering with, isn’t where I want to be. I want to be more. I want to be the best – the absolute best in this company; in the entire business! Monday night can very well be the first step to that. And I will do whatever it takes to achieve that.
And when I say that I’ll do anything, I mean anything! All bets are off the table! I will not hold back like I have been. The ferociousness and the tenacity will shine through and I will leave bodies upon bodies in my wake on my way to the top. I…)
“SIR!”
**--Jonny seems to have jumped five feet out of his skin, startled from his focus by James--**
“WHAT?!”
“I’m terribly sorry sir. Did I startle you?”
“Oh just a little. What’s up?”
“The ceiling…how many times must we go through this?”
“No! I mean…oh nevermind.”
“What are you doing sir? You’ve been in here for a long time! We’re starting to get worried about you!”
**--Jonny is obviously nervous as he tries to hide his journal.--**
“Oh nothing.”
**--But James notices it--**
“Is that a journal? You’re almost 40 sir! You have a journal?!”
**--James nearly splits his sides laughing so hard at the absurdity of Jonny having and actively using a journal--**
“I don’t know what’s so funny.”
“It’s essentially a diary sir. Guys don’t write in diaries!”
“My psychiatrist suggested…”
“You go to a psychiatrist? I had no idea sir. Is it helping?”
“I don’t know honestly. I keep getting these horrible nightmares – hell on earth, Armageddon type nightmares – and we can’t seem to pinpoint why I’m having them.”
**--James’s once jovial attitude has changed to a more respectful tune--**
“Well I’ll leave you to your journal sir. Mrs. Cedrone wanted me to check in on you.”
“Thank you James. I’ll be out in a few more minutes.”
**--James exits the room leaving Jonny to his journal. He starts writing in it again but this time no voiceover. The scene fades to black. The shot now opens up to a seemingly hot, arid scenery. The sky has a bit of an orange kinda red tinge to it. The air looks so thick that you could cut it with a knife. The heat rising off of the desert floor bends the light beams that enter it. Into the camera shot and up-close we see a figure dragging in a body bag and plopping it down. The figure walked back out of camera shot. The camera starts to zoom out and reveals that there’s a hole in the middle of the desert. Back into the shot comes that figure and he flops another body bag into the hole. The figure walks back out of camera shot. After a few brief moments he comes walking back into the shot, dragging another body bag and flops it down into the hole as well. After standing there for a moment surveying the results of his destruction, the figure lumbers over to the massive dirt pile standing next to the open hole, takes the shovel that’s sticking out of the pile and starts to cover the bodies. The camera continues to slowly zoom out. When the figure and the death scene is about 50 yards away, a message fades onto the screen--**
