Character Name: Remy Nouveau
Nickname: N/A
Hometown: New Orleans, Louisiana
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 194
Alignment: Tweener
In-Ring Style: Technical
Bio:
Born and raised in NOLA, Remy Nouveau (and his family) were displaced and forced out of their three-generation family home by Hurricane Katrina. Torn from the only home and live he'd known in his tender early-teen years, Nouveau became bitter and angry, lashing out against peers, adults, and anyone else who he'd deemed to be "in his way."
As he moved into high school, his wrestling coach molded Nouveau and helped him to harness his natural gifts and general angst which empowered him to become a stellar wrestler, and soon, D1 schools came knocking with scholarship offers for the standout mat technician. Nouveau eventually decided to attend a school close to his original home and committed to LSU where he impressed coaches and observers alike immediately upon his arrival.
Once more though, home was ripped away from him when a cheap shot from an opponent tore Nouveau's ACL and put him on the shelf for the better part of a year. In that time away, LSU rescinded his scholarship, and Nouveau took to professional wrestling to find that same empowerment he initially found with mat wrestling in high school and to give himself the ability to punish anyone else who decided to take advantage of him or stand in his way again.
Action Wrestling is decidedly the grandest stage upon which this formerly highly-sought-after free agent has now appeared, and it's but a matter of time before Remy Nouveau's name goes up in lights and down in the annals of AW history.
Attire:
Upper: Nouveau is shirtless.
Arms: Nouveau wears simple purple elbow pads and a layer of black wrist tape.
Legs: Nouveau wears purple vinyl trunks which have “NOUVEAU” stitched across his ass in gold lettering with white piping.
Feet: Nouveau wears purple calf-high wrestling boots that say “SUGARFOOT” down the length of each boot.
Theme song: “Gunpowder” by Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears
Pic Base: Ricky Starks
Entrance:
The lights within the arena and the tron screen black out completely. Suddenly the screen fills with the close up of an old blues musician and the sound of an incredible blues guitar riff fills the arena. The shot zooms out and reveals three trumpeters moving in unison behind the guitar player as they play what sounds like an old funk song. The music abruptly stops and the screen goes black again.
The crowd responds knowing what’s coming.
When the screen lights back up, the horns sound once more and the phrase “WHO DAT?!” pops up on the screen as “Gunpowder” by Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears hits the PA, and Remy Nouveau confidently marches out onto the stage. Wearing a sleazy smirk on his face, he soaks in the energy from the audience as he slowly walks down the ramp toward the ring.
Ethan Miller: Coming to the ring… weighing in at 194 pounds and hailing from New Orleans, L-A, he is REMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYYY NOUUUUUUVEAUUUUUUUUUUUU!
When Nouveau arrives in the ring, he poses in the center of the ring and then waits for the start of the match in his assigned corner.
