The scene opens up at the entrance Universal Studios. Seas of people walking in and out of the entrance either ready and eager to meet their day of fun and entertainment or saddened to leave the world of make-belief to enter the harsh realities that they came to forget for a few moments. But there are two people in particular that are catching our eyes. Making their way out of the theme park and through the entrance/exit are two-thirds of the Trios Champions Jonny Cedrone and CJ Phoenix both sporting smiles on their faces.
CJ – Well that was fun!
Cedrone – I haven’t had that much fun in such a long time! Thanks man!
CJ – You haven’t seen the half of it yet. Wait until you see where we’re going next!
They stop walking and stand with the entrance in their background but out of the way of the people as much as they can. They begin speaking towards the camera
Cedrone: Before we go there maybe we can just stand here and soak all this in for a minute.
Both competitors look around and absorb the scenery for a moment.
CJ: Okay. Sounds good. I mean time does slip away pretty quickly doesn’t it?
Cedrone: Blink and you’ll miss it! CJ this is beautiful Orlando, Florida!
CJ: Yes it is!
Cedrone: Home of the Orlando Magic!
CJ: Two time Conference Champions!
Cedrone: They came so close but no cigars…We actually have a little bit in common with them if you think about it CJ.
CJ whips his head towards Cedrone so fast he almost gets whiplash.
CJ: How do you mean?
Cedrone: We made our way into the Turmoil tournament, the tournament to crown Wrestler of the Year but we were knocked out not too far into it. You made it a little further than I did but we lost out to the same person – the man, the myth, the legend…the World Champion Gerard Angelo. Nothing to sneeze at. We gave him everything we had but he reminded both of us and the rest of the world why he’s the World Champion and why he’s been Champion for as long as he’s been.
Cedrone: Damn right! So we move onto our next obstacle. In a few days we face Allister McKissick and Alice Gemini. And we can’t shake a stick at either one of them. They’re both winners in their own way. Alice you and I were kicked out of the Turmoil Tournament the same night so I feel your pain. We both have something to prove and we’re just standing in each other’s way. You did win the second Pure Cup Championship tournament back in March and are a former women’s Champion though! We have the utmost respect for your talents Alice! Don’t get our words twisted.
But my focus right now is Allister McKissick. Wow! This man has truly kicked ass since joining the company. He made his Action Wrestling debut on the October 17th episode of Monday Night Clash and won the second World Cup! You can’t get much bigger than that can ya? The following week though you were thrown into a number one contendership match against Odin Balfore and Tony Savage. You gave it everything you had and came oh so close to winning it all but Odin proved to be just a little too much didn’t he? He’s a big and powerful bitch and nothing to sneeze at that’s for sure so there’s no shame in losing to him to be honest. Be proud of what you accomplished and be proud of the fight you gave him!
Phoenix: Are you still there, Alice? Or has the wonderland in your mind fallen apart beyond repair? I'd argue it's the latter. We may both be dealing with a distraction problem, I'm far better at managing mine considering I got further in the Wrestler of the Year tournament. Let's be honest though. That tournament never meant anything to you because you're no longer who you pretend to be. You're not the rising star storming her way through the ranks. You're not the "Brutal Bitch" that leaves jaws dropped in the audience from your athletic prowess and vicious carnage in the ring. You've devolved into a "Bitter Bitch" who's chosen not to leave well enough alone. You've become OBSESSED with one Ash Blake to the point where it's made you a "Blinded Bitch". Suppose you get what you want. Ash Blake comes out and you pummel her. You absolutely destroy and humiliate her. Then what? What will you have accomplished at that point? Passing up an opportunity to further build upon your foundation so that you can kick someone while their down. Even if she came back at 100% and you still demolished her, the fact that you're so desperate to meet her in the ring again already shows that she's already got plenty of real estate in that head of yours. Truthfully, neither of us deserved to win that tournament because our hearts weren't fully in it. The difference is, while my head's back in the game, yours is still in the clouds. On the bright side, at least it won't hurt you as much when Jonny and I wipe the floor with you and Alister.
Oh, wait......do you even know you have a tag partner this week? Probably not. You're too busy chasing down your obsession that you're gonna leave him high and dry at the first opportunity. Hell, one of the announcers could mention Ash Blake and you'll probably hop out of the ring mid-match to confront them. Jonny and I work well as a team. We've already proven it by winning the Trios Tournament. Meanwhile, poor Alister's gonna find out just how much of a team player you're not. That's what will ultimately lead to our victory Monday night. As great as it is that the four of us have such great talent, you and Alister have no chemistry. Nothing in common beyond being on the same show and sharing the same first letter of your names. You don't even have a common goal to try to win the match. If Ash shows up, you're likely to throw the ref at her. So the question isn't 'can you two coexist'? The question is 'how long will it take for you to get in each other's way'? It won't be long, but that's okay. Tag team wrestling isn't for everyone. If anything, you can consider this a chance for us to knock some sense back into you. Now if you still wanna put all your eggs in the Ash Blake basket after Jonny and I beat you and Alister, that's on you, but don't go crying about the despair you go through when your obsession gets your confidence obliterated.
Ah, Disney World. The most magical place in the world or something. You know, the place where all of the NFL players lie about going after winning the Superbowl. That's where we find CJ Phoenix and Jonny Cedrone.
Phoenix: Well, here we are.
Cedrone: Nice! We might as well enjoy Disney World while we're here.
Phoenix: Facts. Always reminds me of the old Disney game I had for the PlayStation with the long ass title.
Cedrone: What was it?
Phoenix: The Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour.
Cedrone: HUH!? That's a whole sentence!
Phoenix: RIGHT! It's as chaotic as 'Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?'.
Cedrone: What the hell is that!?
Phoenix: It's an anime with a long ass question for a title. And no, I haven't watched it because I can't get past the damn title!
Cedrone: Who comes up with these names?
Phoenix: Lunatics! But at least the Disney game was good. Racing game with a lot of rides as courses.
Cedrone: Niiiiiiiiiice. Think they'll remake it one day?
Phoenix: I hope so. I'd play that shit competitively and make it the Magical Despair Tour.
Cedrone: Do you actually believe in magic? Like seriously believe in it?
Phoenix: Absolutely. Whatever magic isn't already in the world to be used can be created with enough concentration. Kinda like how we as wrestlers create magic through our matches.
Cedrone: True. That energy from the crowd hits different. It's like an adrenaline rush on steroids.
Phoenix: Basically. Especially if you know how to harness that magic.
Cedrone: I think we do a pretty good job of getting the crowd on our side. So I think we'll be able to feed off of their energy better than Alice and Alister will.
Phoenix: Without a doubt. We have natural chemistry from working together in the trios tournament. Plus, I doubt they'd be taking the extra step to actually get to know their teammate better so that they can properly game plan.
Cedrone: That's true. I don't think they respect the intangibles that go into tag wrestling.
Phoenix: And that will be their undoing.
Cedrone nods and then he goes into silence for a moment.
Phoenix: You good?
Cedrone: Walt Disney World Quest.......
Phoenix: ..... Magical Racing Tour.
Cedrone: That's such a ridiculous name.
Phoenix: It is.
Cedrone: Thankfully, you don't have to say the whole thing every time. Speaking of, it's actually pretty fitting that Thanksgiving is the Thursday after Clash because I don't know about you CJ but I'm pretty thankful this Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for the year I've had in Action Wrestling; the Championships that I've won and the Championships that I'm going to win. I'm extremely thankful for the new friends I've made in King Shit!
--Jonny and CJ look at each other and nod in agreement before Jonny turns back towards the camera--
Cedrone: But even more importantly than that I'm thankful for the fact that CJ and I are gonna bring the pain and kick some ass and beat Allister and Alice Monday night and cement our names in the annals of time as the best this world has to offer!
You think you have this win in the bag? Ha! Come with me and you'll see a world of pure imagination!
