~~~}}}”DA BAD APPLE BOTTOM GENE"… A MANAGER?!?!{{{~~~
As the scene swirls into focus, it lands upon none other than the beautiful blonde, Aphriya Adler, ‘Da Bad Apple Bottom Gene’ herself. She sits on the ledge of a bridge in an unknown place. She is wearing yoga pants and a loose fitting sweater. She hugs the rails of the walking bridge and just stares in the distance, a small smile curves her lips as her feet dangle and gently sway.
“So last week was an exhilarating night for me. Being gone from actual hyped up crowd competition for, geeze, two months I think. So much has happened in such a short period of time that I can’t even remember how long I was away from my home in Action Wrestling. I came back two weeks ago. I came out at the end of CruiserClash to make a statement. Not one of ill intent. Not the way others might have taken. I simply came out and put the Champion on notice. I came back for one reason and one reason only. Besides seeing and being with my friends that I’ve made.”
She pauses, but her distant stare doesn’t change. Her smile remains unshaking.
“So I made my statement. Turned around last week against an incredible athlete in Max Daemon. He was game. I was game. It was incredible fighting him. I didn’t think I would have as much ring rust as I did, but I was able to persevere and I pulled out the victory on my return. I was super excited to return with a win. But my journey has only begun. I haven’t come back just to come back. I didn’t return to fighting for Action Wrestling just to get that pop from my fans, which thank you all for the support and love y’all have given me since before and on the night I came back.”
She finally shifts her gaze to the camera to her left, her smile widens and the distance is no longer in her eyes. They are in the moment. In the present.
“Now this week, my second match up is against someone that shows to be a manager of a new star who has arrived in Action Wrestling in my absence.”
She chuckles before turning and rising to her feet, she remains looking at the camera as she leans on the upper handrail of the walkway.
“So I am not quite sure how to approach this promotional material.”
She turns her gaze back out over the canyon in which this walking bridge is built across.
“At first it might’ve been a typo in the card announcement. Throughout the week, it hasn’t changed which means according to the card that was announced and sent to me is exactly that. Instead of taking on Vandalia Valdez, the star that just signed to the company, I am taking on her manager. I am not quite sure why that is considering he is just a manager. Those of you out there may already know who is, I unfortunately do not know him or what his skills are because there is no film on him. So this is going to be one of those battles where my mind has to be so much better than what my body. I have to be smart. Try to be proactionary rather than reactionary. I have to lead the dance as my blestie says. The dance is going to be in the mind more so than the physical realm.”
She pauses, turning and leans her back against the upper handrail.
“I am not going to stand here and bore y’all with all of that technical stuff. Nah, I’d rather stand here and say that I am so happy to be back in the competitive realm of my career. I am happy to have made my return my way. And Lazaro, I hope Vandalia is training you up good because Monday night in Orlando I will have to shift your momentum into my favor. I look forward to meeting you in the center of that ring. Much love to you all out there. Tune in Monday night, and I’ll see y'all then.”
She steps away and the scene swirls to black.
