Narration: There was a young man who belonged to the tribe of Kogo. During this time there was a rival gang of warriors named the Oroa. They wanted to murder anyone who did not believe in their God. They believed the Oroa Supreme God was the highest of powers and his word ruled supreme. If you did not believe in this God you were to sacrifice yourself on your knees in front of his warriors or you were to be murdered on the spot. One day the warriors of Oroa came through to the tribe of Kogo looking to desecrate any man, woman or child who knelt before them that did not profess their love to the Oroa Supreme God. This was when they ran into the young man of Heike.
Heike was only but a young teenage boy but that day he quickly became a man when he questioned and stood in the face of the Oroa. They drew swords and looked to murder the Buzoku but Heiki trained every day and every night of his waking life with two swords his mother and father fashioned for him. The Oroa gang of warriors came into the Kogo with 19 men and left with none. Heiki defended his small community with two swords on his own. He defeated them and won. However, the cost was high. Everyone he defended had died. He held his father in his arms and his fathers last breath was to go on and continue fighting against the Warriors of Oroa. That's the tale of Heiki.
That was over hundreds and hundreds of years ago but the lineage never died. Heiki married late in his life and had a child. That child grew up and raised a family as well. Hundreds and hundreds of years later the great, great, great.. well, many greats, great grandson was born. Hotaka. The great warrior of a great warrior. When Hotaka was born he was told he was one of the last of a dying lineage that dates back to the Kogo. Thus, he would be the Japanese Guardian.
The Guardian smoked through school with the highest of test scores and passing grades and left one year early with a graduation certificate of the highest regards in Japanese Education. However, because he focused on education for so long he did not train to be a warrior. He did not know how to fight and late one night Hotakas family was robbed. The two thieves damaged the family's sacred house, stole diamonds, jewelry and money. Hotakas father was injured in the process and has mild brain damage and thus Hotaka stood that next morning with a demand for fight and warrior.
His mother said no, his younger sister was confused and scared, but Hotaka wanted to bring honor and respect back to his families name. At 18 years of Age, Hotaka began fight training and throw practices. He quickly rose through the ranks of a discreet fight club and at age 19 he signed on to become a professional fighter and wrestler. Hotaka was a warrior like he was destined to be. The Japanese Guardian was going to guard and defend his families honor for the rest of his life no matter the cost.
Present Day
Hotaka slides on some sunglasses as he stands at the top of a small set of stairs and he soaks in the sun from Orlando, Florida. He notices a Japanese man with a digital voice recorder at the bottom of the steps of his hotel. He steps down towards him and listens to the question. He responds in Japanese.
Azurine Vebbins is just my first stepping stone to becoming Cruiserweight Champion on CruiserClash in Action Wrestling. Vebbins is no doubt a good fighter, she is a great competitor and a former Champion of sorts. I too am a former Champion. I to have taken the best of the best and the legends of this sport and world to their very best and finished them off. It will be much of the same in United States. I am not scared and I have no fear. I have set out a goal and that goal is to win Gold. They call me the Gold Hunter and that will not change.
They say this is where the worlds best wrestlers and fighters end up and this is no different for me. I am the best but want to beat the best. I will do so starting with Vebbins. She has a following because she attaches something to each day. Donut Day, Day of the Dead, or office day. I will show her on November 14th that it will be Hotaka Day. It will be the day Hotaka defeated Vebbins and started his legendary career in Action Wrestling. I have no apologies for Vebbins because she knows this was going to happen sooner or later but she will be put on her neck, she will be put on her head and the count of three will happen with her on her back.
I mean no harm, and I mean no disrespect but Vebbins will be finished. The Gold Hunter's hunt starts now.
Hotaka slides his glasses off and looks up at the sun as he wipes the lens on his tie. He puts his sunglasses back on and walks down the sidewalk as we come to a slow close.
