The stream from his Facebook account goes live. It’s been hours since Leno made his AW debut with a win over Niobe Martin and Josh Conway. A poetic Levitation sent him to victory. Now, surrounded by party goers as he is celebrating with fans at a Halloween party. People are dressed up as vampires, pirates and everything in between.
What a groovy way to end this super dope night man! We are all here partying, having a good time because Brandon Leno is 1-0 in Action Wrestling baby! I came, I saw…and I kicked some ass, yeah! First, I gotta say hats off to Josh Conway and Niobe Martin man. You guys have a lot of talent and AW should watch out because either one of them is about to break out! Also, I have to thank the crowd for being on point tonight in Roswell, you guys were out of this world! Next, Billy, if you are watching this bud, you can come and party with me anytime bro! This is a super cool man. Getting that first win is huge in a career, this is just going to build my confidence even more. Watch out AW I’m ready to skyrocket to the top and show everyone in that locker room and in the stands what Brandon Leno can do!
The crowd around him erupts at this statement. It was clear the fans of AW were already starting to get behind him and that made him feel spectacular.
I look forward to next week. Heading down to the Big Easy baby! Not sure who my opponent will be but I know that it won’t be a cakewalk because this is the big leagues man. All I know is I’m going to do my best to put on one hell of a show for the fans bro! Stay groovy kids!

Goldstar Wrestling was a small indie promotion based out of LA. If Goldstar were a woman, Leno would have married her. After 4 tryouts and no calls to come back and work, he hit pay dirt. Goldstar Wrestling decided to give the kid a shot. It was a rough start to say the least. He was a healthy scratch on the first two shows he was eligible for and he was not making any friends in the back. He had talent but they all thought he was way too green, awkward on the mic. Just when he thought he was going to get cut before ever wrestling a show, one of the top performers of the company invited him out to a party one night. Leno was always down to party. Leno met up with Mike Mewes, a flamboyant hot shot who was really good, but personal issues and his disdain for authority has kept him from getting to the next level.
So, I wanted to talk to you. The brass is trying to figure out who they should have in for the prospect tournament coming up.
Cool man, it ain’t going to be me though. Honestly man, I think I won’t be here much longer.
Not with that attitude, kid. Listen, I can get you into that tournament. You vs me. You put on a good showing, they will put you in the tournament. I like you kid. You have raw talent, just need someone to guide you. I’ll do it.
Wow! Seriously? Thanks dude! Man, I can’t believe I’m going to wrestle a former world champion!
Yeah, well, don’t get cocky, because we got some work to do. Tomorrow, 6AM, you meet me at the gym.

The next day, Leno was at the gym, at 4:30 AM. Mike was impressed, this kid cared. He wanted to learn. This could be the best thing he ever does in the wrestling business.

Oh! The big scary tattooed guy I go up against. That guy. Well, I know he’s big, he likes to hurt people, and he’s good at it.
Yeah, how do you feel about your match with him this week?
Leno ponders this question for a few moments, rubbing his chin.
I feel good about it. Little nervous you know, I mean you got a roster that is loaded with talent so each week is going to be a challenge. I like challenges though. I was told to get far in this business you need to be ready for anything. Well, Mr. Psychedelic is always ready for whatever is coming at him. Niobe said last week that I was just a version of Dude Love and Mick did it better. First off, Dude Love was a national treasure. Two, I’m not trying to be anyone but myself. That hippie that she trashed is who I am and I sure love being a groovy dude. I’ve been doubted before and I was able to prove myself then and I’m going to prove myself against Holden this week bro! Big showdown in the Big Easy, win or lose, I know the crowd is going to love this match man!
