In a rare moment of quiet, Jill Park was leaning on the railing of her beach house patio, overlooking Venice Beach. Jill sipped on a mimosa from her right hand, the Action Wrestling Women’s Championship draped over her right shoulder. As she placed the mimosa on a small patio table nearby, she flicked up her dark bubble sunglasses, resting them on top of her head. Her demeanor seemed more laid back as of late, perhaps thanks in no small part to her deception and victory over Dandy DiVito on Monday Night Clash, just two weeks ago.
Whatever the reason, Jill was relishing in her current mood. She had turned to the camera but now decided to turn back towards the view of the beach. She closed her eyes momentarily, basking in the sunlight that shone down upon her.
“The Action Wrestling Women’s Championship.” Jill smirked as she peered down at the Championship that was draped over her right shoulder.
“Believe it or not, this division NEEDS me. For over two months, I’ve seen all of them bemoan the fact that I am Women’s Champion. That I am primarily on Clash. Yet, in those two months, none of them did even the slightest amount of WORK to even declare their interest in attempting to dethrone me. Karlie Nash, the one woman who lucked her way into a title match, didn’t even try to get that shot. She was GIFTED it. Just as has happened again. I don’t blame Torture or Joey Bunga for that. The sad fact is, this Women’s division is hapless. They don’t take issue with being on the bottom of the card. They don’t take issue with being overlooked.
Then you look at me. “ill” Jill Park. One of the BIGGEST stars Action Wrestling has ever, and will ever see. I am ranked THIRD in Turmoil. I was sixteenth last year. So I moved up thirteen spots in just one year. Think about it. Karlie, Azurine…you think that was GIFTED to me? Nah, I put in the damn work. I saw and I HEARD what was being said of me; what was thought of me. I shoved everyone’s expectations and preconceived notions and I shoved it down their goddamned throats. I exemplify the word “Champion” to a tee. And ever since I won my first gold here in Action Wrestling, I haven’t looked back. I’ve risen above everything that was expected of me. Through those actions, I’ve elevated what it means to be United States Champion, and I’ve elevated what it means to be Women’s Champion.
You two wanna walk into CruiserClash on Halloween Night and walk straight into the Lion’s den. I’m perfectly fine with that. I do want to caution you both, however. If you take that same lame, happy to be here BULLSHIT approach that the rest of the Women in this division seem to live by, then it will be a PAINFUL and VIOLENT night.
I mean, I guess that’s inevitable. This night WILL be violent and it will end in heartbreak as I raise MY Women’s Championship over your wretched, defeaten corpses. Last week, Karlie Nash bemoaned being in a hardcore match. A match with no rules. See, you won’t see that sort of delusional nonsense from me. This won’t be art. None of my matches will be.
When you step into the ring with me, and especially when my GOLD is on the line?
It’s nothing more than a goddamned fight. And I WILL fight for this title with everything I have. I will BLEED for this title. I will do whatever the hell I have to, to retain this title. You can call me a cheater if you like. You can call my tactics cheap if you must.
Just make sure you call me CHAMPION.
Because that's what I am, and that's what I will be for a long damn time.
If you come for my belt, you’d better not miss.
Because I don’t.”
Jill smiles her best arrogant smile and winks at the camera as she holds the title up for the camera, and downs the rest of her mimosa.
