Hi folks, narrator here back with another day in the life of your favourite right half of the two gents, Andre Jenson!
Today our erstwhile adventurer is holed up in his castle, working on his armour. He has a great design ready for Blacksmith Joe and is eagerly waiting for the feedback. Joe, looking through the designs while drinking a nice cup of tea mmms, aaas and tuts in tantalising fashion. At one point, he nods, looks like he’s about to stand up, thinks better of it and continues to peruse the design.
Jenson, being the cool, calm and rational man that he is, sits opposite Joe, intently watching him, waiting for Joe to proclaim it’s a marvellous design and he’ll go create it immediately.
“This is a nice design.” Says Joe, finally. “Very modern.”
“Thanks! I was inspired!” Replies Jenson, eagerly.
“By Teo I guess?”
“No! A girl, from the 22nd century! In Earth terms anyway, I mean we’re nowhere near the 22nd century here, we’re in like the 3rd.”
“How’s a girl from the 22nd century inspired you to design a suit of armour?” Joe is intrigued by this, he loves to know where people get their inspiration from.
“Well, it’s a heritage piece for a start. The armour is going to be forged from the old bit of scrap armour I ruined a while back, just making it shinier, newer and better. Also it’s lightweight and ready to fight. Plus all the fancy adornments on it, such as phone dock, bluetooth and Podcast integration makes it just that bit more over the top, why not listen to Scrubs podcasts while smashing someone in the face with a mace I’ve always asked myself. Now I can.
But yeah it’s inspired by this girl because she’s taking everything that her father gave her and reforging it into a new package. What he did worked, so what better than take what works, crush it all up into a small ball, throw it into a bin and do something different? That’s the absolute best way of going about things and the first thing you should do when you’re the daughter of a legendary figure.
Then with your newly found armour, with your newly found attitude, taking everything you learned from your legendary father and not using it, what better way to go and honour his legacy than tread the exact same path as he did.
Lose constantly to Teo.
I mean I get it, she’s going after Teo to fulfil her family’s legacy, I saw that coming from a few kleps away. Heck when she teamed with Kidsgrove to face Teo you could see that she was absolutely desperate to beat the man and make a name for herself.
But I do take umbrage with what she’s been saying about Teo, hells about me too.
They’ve been trying to paint Teo as this creature who cares more about the title than he does his friend. This is not true at all! The CW title is held by the gents. It doesn’t matter which gent holds it, but it’s held by the gents. We can have perfectly natural competition between the two of us, that’s fine and I wouldn’t have it any other way, because without competition what are we? We’re just two cool cats having fun. After all, no one else in the whole of CruiserClash can touch us. Not the Canadians, not Nash or Zalex or anyone else who’s stepped up to us has put us down yet.
Not even the 22nd century girl herself. She won’t put us down, she can’t put us down. We have the brains, the braun and the guile to beat her and hold on to the Cruiserweight title. And you know what else we got now?
We got a 22nd century armour. This makes us untouchable. We’re faster, we can take more hits, we can listen to Zach Braff. We have it all right here and right now. She may come at us with her generational talent, she might even bring her father to try and help, but that CW title is ours.
Just see if she can try and take it off us.
