“I came here for the benefit of you all. I came here to show you what true greatness looks like. To show you why you should celebrate The Heritage.”
Bryan Blaze stands before a small crowd in an undisclosed location. He is on a small stage with a podium at an outdoor venue. A Canadian Flag waves freely on a flagpole about twenty feet behind the stage.
“I admire your dedication and your support, by showing up here today. It feels like I’ve made this same plea; this same speech a million times before, but it is just as important and just as relevant today, as it ever was any of those times.
This Monday, yet again, I find myself facing off against the scourge of my Action Wrestling career, once again I find myself across the ring from Teo Blaze and Andre Jenson. The men who seek to embarrass Canada. To spit on it’s image. I cannot let this stand, I cannot allow Two Gents, and Action Wrestling itself, smear the image of the great country of Canada. I, along with James Payne, are the last hope any of us have.
It is completely disgusting how I was ROBBED of the Action Wrestling Cruiserweight Championship. Teo Blaze had his TAG TEAM PARTNER installed as Special Guest Referee, and defeated me in AMERICA, on a FAST COUNT. Where is the morality? Where is the accountability? Oh, that’s right! JOSEPH BUNGA is the General Manager and he has it out for Canadians!
We cannot merely show up to work and give everyone what they came to see: the superiority of Canadian wrestling! We have to go above and beyond that, we need to be goddamned perfect or we are shunned, we are mocked, ridiculed and we are CHEATED!
Look at The Heritage! They have made into a laughing stock in Action Wrestling. They are the greatest Canadian Tag Team OF ALL TIME! And buddy, we cannot stand for that! They deserve better! I deserve better! YOU ALL DESERVE BETTER!
So pal, I’ll you what. This Monday Night is our last stand. We are going to step into the ring with Two Gents once again, and this time, on paper, it appears nothing is on the line.
But, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
This match is everything to us. It is the culmination of everything we’ve been working towards. Everything that we have been saying since day one. One final chance to show and prove that Canadian wrestling is superior. And I can tell ya buddy, once we FINALLY put Teo and Jenson down for good, I will be coming back for that Cruiserweight Championship!
The man can’t keep us down! We will rise above the hatred! The xenophobic practises of Joey Bunga! We will survive, we will thrive, we will overcome!”
The crowd cheers loudly! Blaze relishes in the cheers, which we all knew he had expected before taking the stage.
“We will not be a footnote in the annals of Action Wrestling, we will write our own story! We will not allow Joey Bunga and Two Gents to push us out into the cold! We will prove ONCE AGAIN why we are superior and why this country is to be respected! To be revered!
I am sick of the disrespect, and so are ALL OF US! Whether its me, The Heritage, Tatiana Jolee…all of us! It won’t stop unless we make it stop!
So on Monday Night, that’s exactly what we will do.”
With that ominous message, Bryan Blaze steps away from the microphone, dropping it on the stage. He exits as the crowd talks amongst themselves about what he had just said.
