Hey folks!
I'm just looking for some feedback.
Not "chasing the hug" in any way. Just not feeling like I'm worthy anymore.
I look around and I see soooo much talent and I just don't feel like I live up to the standards that Action Wrestling upholds.
Sorry to be a bother

I know how you feel with feeling out of your depth. Sometimes AW is like that - there are divisions here where every competitor could be instantly moved up to be a threat to, or win the World Title. God knows the Tag division is rn. But the thing is, you are a very good writer, and I always get a sense of who Cedrone is as a character.
For feedback, I do always try to keep in mind, how is your character growing? As we go from week to week, what is his character arc, how is this changing him? I tend to find it hard to write - and, speaking for myself I get a little bored reading - about someone who has an entirely domestic, stable life and it seems like there is no stakes or journey for them. What do your dudes want, deep down? Physically, metaphysically, spiritually, any way you want to parse that.
That, and be mean to your opponent are my best advice. Like I got into this game two decades ago and grew up through shooting being the end-all be-all. I feel like, at the end of the day, dress this up with CD, tie everything together metaphorically, polish it... at the end of the day the goal is to be so fucking mean to your opponent that you make them look ridiculous and have nothing they can say back to you.
I believe you have a great deal of skill for this and honestly, there is a place for you here! Finding your niche for a little while is a challenge.
But you know what helps, is to get into a feud with someone for a few good months. Possibly even without titles at stake, if you can, just get into feud with someone that leads to 2 to three PPV matches. Kick in lots of segments between the two of you. Really get it out there to make the feud part of the show. That will raise your stock, for sure, and it will keep you fresh.

Deadass, listen to Downfall. I've been doing this silly game a long time and he's (in no particular order) a top 5 best writer I've ever had the pleasure of reading and writing against. He hit the nail on the head.
I think you need to give Johnny an edge. That would be my advice.

Facing is fucking HARD. I get it - but I love it. It’s really easy to lose track of your alignment and character voice when we’re supposed to shit talk each other. But I think moving you out of the shoot division will be very beneficial to your character, imo. Now you can use your shoot to enhance your CD.
You’re doing great, JC. We all do it, for sure, but don’t get too down on yourself. 🖤
