Ok, what's up everyone. We're a few hours away from the RP deadline of the first show after Evolution and what a fucking show that was. So for some of you, you had feuds that ended at Evolution, some of you are in the middle of feuds, and others may have had ones that started there. That's awesome, so as someone else pointed out in another OOC thread recently, this is like the new season of Action Wrestling.
Now is the time to get started fresh and start new feuds, new angles (or as pointed out if you're already in one, just continue it). So if you're wanting to work with some people and get something going, then get started after Clash this week. If you'll go back to most of the shows since our debut in February and really do your homework, you'll discover that in many cases the ones booked the highest on the card were the ones putting in the most work on the shows for their segments and trying to get something going with someone else in a feud.
The more involved you are in your character and their time here in ADub, the better he or she will be booked. You can still float and just not do anything other than RP each week and you'll still eventually get title shots if you do well enough, but what's the fun in just RPing? Get involved!
If you're not happy with where you are in ADub, then find out why you are where you are and then dig deeper to get yourself out of that rut and where you want to be on the shows.
One MAJOR thing though to keep in mind is that we cannot go with everyone's ideas all the time. We also can't give everyone a feud or angle they want all the time either, because everyone has to remember that we have an entire roster of people. Nearly 50 people to be exact. What this means is just because you have a badass idea for a feud, angle, match, etc. doesn't mean we can always do it. Your feud, angle or match may interfere with other plans for the other matches, wrestlers, shows, etc. But I still want to encourage people to come up with ideas.
Just one piece of advice about ideas is to try your best to keep it as realistic as possible. We do stretch the limits at times with what we do on the shows and we also don't always look down upon unrealistic things in RPs either, but we still want to try to be as realistic towards how a real wrestling company will be. But don't let that sway you from thinking and going outside the box in your RPs, segments, and with your overall ideas. I mean fuck man, I'm one of the co-owners and I rode out on a Chupacabra at Evolution.
Finally, huge shoutout to everyone who made Evolution so great and the last four months great. It's insane to imagine that here shortly we'll hit six months as a fed. Oh and for the record, when we hit that six months, if we keep doing as great as we have, that will be six months straight without a single late show.
