So as you have seen I've killed the cougar hunter gimmick, Karlie now a generic wrestler. Thoughts.

I don’t necessarily think anyone disliked your gimmick, they just wanted to see it evolve and move forward. Karlie has a lot more potential but you have to make that choice how to proceed. Everyone wants to see you do well and succeed, Karlie, and they want to see genuine development out of the character as well.

I quite like the idea of a basic, generic wrestler. Something I can't remember seeing before in feds. Just a wrestler with no theme song, no fanfare surrounding them, just wants to wrestle. Run with it and make it your own.

Everyone wants to see you do well and succeed, Karlie, and they want to see genuine development out of the character as well. Yeah, the gimmick was good, execution could just use more depth and detail. We knew she liked older ladies, played hockey, and wrestled, but I think all people want is more of a taste of everything and more of that depth on Karlie the person/professional. It's not necessarily length of RPs, it's the lack of true transition and choppy dialogue. It feels sometimes like something's just getting dropped for the sake of having something dropped. I've always commended you on being an early week RPer often times, that's not an issue or anything. My way of explaining it is like...I'll see Karlie meet a lady, they share two statements each, they get busy off screen, and she's gone, then she shoots for a paragraph. It just feels like all of these elements are over in writing before they ever really start. Expand on that. To be honest, I don't ever really get the saltiness. Straight up, it feels like you don't want to do this. It's confusing. OOC replies feel passive aggressive, shoutbox replies feel passive aggressive, this gimmick revamp and the few comments/posts you've made about it..again..feel super passive aggressive. Nobody's gonna force your hand on how or what to write, only encourage you to strive for more out of yourself and your character. I mean, what do you care about and what do you want out of AW and this hobby overall? I also get the vibe that you just aren't diving into the AW world or the works of those around you much or at all either. I'd recommend getting on that. If you give it the chance, people are going to sell your shit just like they do with the others around here. We like Karlie, we just want the handler more involved, both with yourself and all of this. If anything is catching flack, it's the Negative Nelly comments that so often come from your keyboard. Don't be erratic. Do you, but gain some awareness of how you can come off and stop being a grump.

I agree with Wade. I wouldn't do any drastic changes. I've liked Karlie since her debut, you've always been a consistent and creative writer. But if you feel that she's lost her edginess then take her back to the basics of what made her that War Machine Olympic Athlete.
I like that you're giving her that no nonsense wrestler attitude, kinda reminds me of early Mike Tyson. I never thought of her as a jobber. So, I wouldn't lose too much of her history, keep her hockey background that kind of defined her as an enforcer just as much as her being a lesbian defined her as a woman.
Her womanizing brought out way too much of her vulnerability so bring back her old hockey and wrestling coaches to help remind her of who Karlie Nash was and still is as an athletic wrestler.
Everybody loves an underdog story.

I'm on the same boat as Spence, Wade, and Shadow. I like Karlie. I think she's a different type of character that you don't see everyday. However, like Spence said, I think you should expand on that. Why did Karlie get into hockey? Why is she a Cougar Hunter? What brought her to becoming a professional wrestler? Someone brought up once that the fact that a male is playing as a lesbian seems a bit bigoted, and while that *could* be true, if you make Karlie more than just "lesbian chick that played hockey, fucks older chicks, and wrestles for money," then it won't seem so much that way. Make Karlie more human. Give her emotion. Give her reason. Make us believe that Karlie Nash could possibly exist, and get us behind her. That's the difficulty that I went through with L, because she's such an unrealistic character, but because I was able to flesh her out, and make her as human as an alien could be, without just making her a human, people got behind her. Karlie *is* a human, so it's a bit easier for you. You just have to make her more relatable, and honestly, I think Karlie could be a great face, if you can manage this, but she can still be a great heel as well.
If you want to break your character down and go back to square one, that's fine. It's up to you. But for any character to get some semblance of momentum, you gotta give them a reason for being. They need purpose, drive, emotion. You need the thinking brain, the feeling heart, and everything else around it. There's a core to everything. You just have to find Karlie's core. Find what makes her tick. You've been in this hobby longer than I, Karlie, and I really think your character has a longevity about her. I want you to do well at this silly hobby that we all involve ourselves in. All it takes is some build up, and some passion. It's just up to you to decide what you want out of this.

I in fact didn't see this because I don't read any shows or RPs but it sounds great.

Hell do a storyline on how Karlie became a cougar hunter. I mean, personally, that was what I was waiting on. Karlie seems kinda promiscuous, which tends to indicate an underlying emotional issue, which would have added a lot more depth. I mean, I think we all got there was some estrangement with her father, problems dealing with his second wife/the woman who broke up her parents' marriage, and that was all really good character stuff. I feel like if you'd maybe spend a little more time fleshing out the details, you'd have a super compelling story to tell. How Karlie got to be Karlie. And that hint of bitterness under the surface, dude, that can be powerful.

Especially if the bitterness towards those people from her past came out and she was bitter towards her opponent and was shooting on them?
Talk about a winning formula.

Karlie might have started to hate her dad via divorce which turned her into a man hater=good shot on male opponents. DONT KILL THE GIMMICK DAMNIT AND KARLIE BETTER START DRIVING A DAMN COUGAR! That is all lol

I personally don't want to see the Karlie gimmick go generic. And here is my thoughts on it.
1. If it was me, and I know you might see it different, I would have ran the shit out of the sex tape fiasco. Seriously...that's like two months of material.
2. I wanted to see the past of Karlie. Less focus on cougars in the promos and more of a slip to the past. What was Karlie like in school? When did she start to realize she was of a certain gender preference? Does Karlie want to be a guy or a lesbian? I know...sensitive subjects but with the right work...phenomenal in depth to Karlie.
3. I personally diagnosed Karlie as narcissistic, bi-polar, with a little delusion of grandeur in there. These are things I think you can still build on. If you ever want ideas, you can hit me up. Metal issues seem to be a thing I can find a good story for.
4. Wouldn't it be hilarious if Karlie was punking everyone? you know...just saying.
