Scott Slayer is at the Clash Press Conference in Oklahoma promoting his match. He sports a black suit, black dress pants and shoes. He has on dark glasses and is sitting down by the press conference table. A microphone sits in front of him as the building is crowded, and cameras are everywhere focused on him. The commissioner takes a microphone and starts speaking.
Commissioner: Okay everyone, welcome to the Action Wrestling press conference for Clash. Our guest here is rising star and WCF alumni, Scott Slayer who will be facing Harry Diderot. We will now begin our questions.
Scott Slayer looks serious as ever. He’s of course not happy about what Bobby Rage did to him last week. Scott Slayer points to a guy in a blue button up shirt and blue jeans.
Guy #1: Hello Scott. The question that I wanted to ask you is that you will be facing Harry Diderot who has announced his retirement is coming up. How do you fare against an opponent such as him?
Scott Slayer: You know, Harry Diderot really isn’t on my radar. Nothing against Harry but what does he bring to the table? As far as I know, he brings a black stereotype to the table that people like me try to go away from. I’m tired of being assumed that I’m a guy like Harry because of my skin. This guy treats wrestling as a fucking joke. He brings chicken and waffles to the ring, and he tried to trash talk me by telling me to read a map. It’s a great thing that he is retiring because we don’t need a fat, lazy, the shucking and jiving, king of KFC to be here. It’s like Harry just wants to eat rather than fight. I’m not about making friends, I’m not about pondering and catering to the kids so they can follow their dreams, and I’m not about treating this industry that I thrive in like a game. Next question.
Another guy in a green sweater and jeans steps up to ask a question.
Guy #2: Over the past weeks, we are seeing you going further and further down the card. Is this a problem with management backstage, is this a coincidence, or is this a problem with you?
Scott Slayer seems disgusted by the man’s last statement. He seems frustrated as he starts to answer the question.
Scott Slayer: First of all, don’t try to disrespect me because I can guarantee you that you’ll be crawling out with your body covered in blood if you ever do that again. I am one of, if not the top prospect in Action Wrestling. Some people may see that as arrogant, I see it as a well known fact. Secondly, let’s talk about your question. I don’t know why I’m being pushed further down the cards. I’m doing my job well, winning my matches, and I get punished for that. It’s just backstage politics. They think that if I get higher in the cards, I become a bigger name. If I become a bigger name, more people will hear my voice. If they hear my voice, I will expose this businesses secrets and scandals. Why do you think they push the guys who ponder to you guys? Because they know if those guys ponder to you, you’ll start to ignore the truth and listen to the idiots who you’ll trust because you think they care about you. So, it’s not my fault. It’s their fault for not owning up to their actions and not letting me truly speak on the issues regarding the status of this industry. Next and final question.
A guy in a white blazer, black shirt and dress shoes and pants grabs the microphone.
Guy #3: You and Bobby Rage have been having a feud for weeks now and it’s starting to reach its boiling point. What are your thoughts on Bobby and his actions?
Scott Slayer hesitates to answer the question. Everyone looks in suspense as Scott is not answering the question. Scott Slayer lets out a big exhale and starts to speak.
Scott Slayer: I don’t know how this even started. I made my debut at Havoc, I eliminated Bobby, he wants to throw a temper tantrum. He calls me out and of course I accept because I’m not a bitch. I laid him out, then he slams me on the ramp. But, if you think that I’m not going to something about this, you’re sadly mistaken. You see, Bobby Rage’s mind is a little underdeveloped. So he lashes out and resorts to steroids and anger to intimidate everyone else and become this new jock on the campus. But he knows that shit does not work on me. That’s why he’s trying to make everyone believe that I’m inferior and that I’m the weaker guy here because he’s insecure about his own, miserable self-
Scott Slayer gets taken down by someone! It’s Bobby Rage! Bobby Rage has invaded the press conference and now the two are having a brawl on the stage. Scott gets up and delivers rights and lefts to Bobby’s jaw as Bobby jaw goes down to one knee. Scott Slayer goes to hit him again but Bobby Rage throws a microphone to his eye. Bobby Rage picks him up and delivers the Rage Slam to Scott Slayer through the announce table. Bobby Rage gets escorted out by security as everyone is in shock. The scene fades to black.
